I headed into the cafeteria, glancing down at my choice of clothing with a smirk. Grayson told me to wear jeans, so I wore joggy bottoms.
" wearing joggy bottoms to upset me, are we? it's not working, eve, you're still looking hot as hell " Grayson whispered against my neck as he leaned down close to my ear, the stubble of his chin tickling my shoulder.
It would be a lie to say that I didn't shiver at the feeling, but I quickly swivelled back around to him with a fake smile to prevent the goosebumps from growing.
" don't call me eve, bailey " I told him, the smirk on his face dropping almost instantly.
" how do you- " He began, only for me to cut him off.
" we were friends once, you know. bestfriends, in fact. do you not remember? " I sassed, placing a hand on my hip and raising an eyebrow.
" unfortunately, I do remember " He answered back, although I knew he was acting tough, just like he usually did.
I pouted, batting my eyelashes at the flustered boy as I turned around, swaying my hips a little more as I walked. I'd never enjoyed teasing someone so much, and to be honest, I had no clue why I was doing it.
