Chapter 18
The next day was a bit refreshing. We are instructed to enjoy our day since it's summer solstice. Meaning, it's a non-working day here in Agartha. They all have one solstice every year or decade and so they will enjoy the day. The difference with Earth is, human's normally has rest day every week.
And immortals here in Agartha are really hard working. One rest day for a year? That's tough!
The king allowed us to go out of the palace since we are carrying our own masters, partners and we have royal guards following around. Which is clearly not a good idea. This bundle doesn't like being followed.
Connor and Ulysses were exchanging meaningful looks.
Persephone raised her right arm and nodded. Remus and Lorcan just lifted their eyebrows twice like an approval. And I don't really know what is happening.
I raised an eyebrow and gently elbowed Zeus. "What are they doing?." I whispered.
He didn't answered me but a loud shrieks shocked me to jump! I looked around for any souls lurking bit there is no one! I found each of royal guards screaming and hitting their head with their swords.
What the hell?
"Happy dreaming, sirs!." Ulysses laughed.
Sa sobrang gulat ay hindi pa ako naka move on. The boys exchanged hi fives and bro fist. Si Persephone ay tumango tango lang tila proud na proud sa ginawa ng kapatid.
"That's not good, Connor." I hissed.
Zeus chuckled. "The king clearly knew we don't want being followed around. It's his fault why that devil did this.."
And by devil, he means Ulysses!
"Oh, Lorietta. They're fine. They'll wake up soon." Ulysses grinned as he draughted somewhere far.
Naghiwa hiwalay narin ang magkakapatid. I bet sari sariling gala sila ngayon. Nagkatinginan kami ni Zeus and we both raised and eyebrow.
"If you want to go with them, I'll be fine here." I said. In fact, napag planuhan ko narin na pupunta ako sa public market ng syudad na ito.
I'm gonna look for some dresses and such. Now, I'm fond of dresses.
"Where do you wanna go?." He grinned and snatched my hand.
I can't help but to laugh. Mabuti nalang at hindi siya naka tingin dahil panigurado ay namumula na ang pisngi ko. His small gestures can make me freaking blush.
"You should go with your brothers.." I said.
He shrugged. "Been with them for 500 years. Wanna try something new.."
I swayed our hands like an ordinary couple enjoying their date. I can't help but to giggle. Dad will probably scold me if he saw me like this! I don't know with mom, she doesn't care about mg well being.
When we reached the town, we put our hoodies. Nakatakip ang aming mukha at mata lang ang nakikita namin sa isa't isa. We tried different foods, kung sa Earth ito ay tinatawag na streetfoods. Sobrang weird nga lang ng lasa ng mga ito. Might as well enjoy the day.
All I know is tanghaling tapat rito, but I can't feel any heat. Hindi ako pinapawisan and I think it's a very great thing. Natutuwa na ako sa Agartha.
We watched the same bundle who's playing with fire. Iyong umalis ako nun sa mansyon sa panghuling pader. Are they also working here? Nagpapaikot ikot ba sila?
Doon ko rin narealize na hindi na sumusulpot ang weird na pangitain na iyon. Iyong nalalaman ko kung ano ang mga susunod na mangyayari. I shrugged my thoughts off, sinigurado ko ring nakasarado ang aming mindlink. I don't want him lurking around my mind.
"Hey."
I snapped out. "Hey.."
"What are you thinking? You seem unfocused. How was the show?." He commented.
I smiled awkwardly. "Y-yeah..the shows good."
He chuckled and flicked my forehead. "Liar. The show didn't start yet."
I laughed and raised both of my hand as someone who are going to surrender. I saw he eyesmiles, meaning, his lips were smiling right now. Unfortunately, I can't see it due to our hoodies. His eyes glows while looking at me.
I touched his face through the hoodie and was i haling his scent. He is just too much for me.
"Your eyes are glowing.." I whispered.
Immediately, the glowing stopped. Nag iwas siya ng tingin and he removed my hand on his face.
"Why are they glowing?." I asked with so much curiousity.
He looked away. "They just glow."
I shrugged. I need to talk to my orientation master, which is Abel. And I know, he's busy on the fourth wall, petting all the horses there. Why can't he be Cain? They'll be a great duo! Plus factor is their features!
Imagine, Doctor Abel and Doctor Cain. Damn! I'm missing them!
When the show started, we were both quiet. Siguro na awkward siya sa nangyari kanina. Hindi ko alam kung saang part. Mali bang hinawakan ko siya? I mean, nabigla ko ata siya. Damn, nakakahiya!
Hanggang sa matapos ang pinanuod namin ay panay lang ang sulyapan naming dalawa. Nauna siyang tumayo at buong akala ko ay mauuna siyang maglakad ay hindi. Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at mahigpit itong hinawakan. Saka kami sabay na naglakad.
He bought me foods and drinks. Kadalasa'y aalukin niya ako ng tubig kapag siya ang umiinom.
Hindi ko maiwasang mapa ngiti sa mga simpleng galaw niya. He made it a big deal. O talagang bias lang ang puso at isipan ko? Dahil may epekto na siya sa akin. Para bang gamot na pipilitin kang maging masaya at mapamahal sa isang tao.
Well, mukhang masaya naman inumin ang gamot na iyon kung ganun.
"Do you miss your family?." He suddenly asked me.
Nakaupo kami ngayon sa isang bakanteng espasyo sa isang parke. Marami ring mga nakaupo na mga iba't ibang nilalang rito. They look happy and contented. Sana ganito nalang kasimple maging masaya sa mundo ko sa taas. How

"Yeah." I murmured.
Ang aking ulo ay nakasiksik sa kaniya. Naka dantay ang kaniyang kamay sa likuran ko, napakaphinga rin ang kaniyang ulo sa aking ulo. We were sitting in peace.
"When you have the chance today to go back, will you do it?." He asked.
Napa awang ang bibig ko. Afraid I might take the chance but there is something bothering me.
"Nah, don't answer that." He added and then chuckled.
I chose to kept silence. Masyadong magulo rin ang tanong na iyon. Kung noon niya tinanong sa akin yan malamang ay um-oo ka agad ako ng walang pag aalin langan. Pero ngayon?
"Am I forgiven?."
I creased my forehead. "Where?." Making it sound like he made a lot of sins.
"About last week. About me vanishing." He said.
I smiled like an idiot. "You are already forgiven, but where were you that time? And that long?."
"South."
I raised an eyebrow. "For weeks? Really?."
He, then chuckled. "And I visited your body back in Earth. You are sleeping peacefully, my Lorietta."
Astonishment conquered me. Umupo ako ng maayos habang nakatingin sa kaniya. My eyes widen and I just cannot believe it. He did what???
"Why did you visit Earth?." That was the first question that popped up in my head and I blurted it out.
What is he doing? I mean, what is he planning to do? Visit Earth, Visit my physical body? How can he do that?
"Just making sure you'll be safe in or out of Agartha." He smiled and pulled me again to him. This time he was hugging me behind.
I stilled. Sobrang lakas ng dagundong ng puso ko. I couldn't imagine the successors watching us in this position. This is totally embarrassing and hilarious! We look like a couple!
"What do you mean?." I was out of breath dammit. He is too much for me!
"That when you leave Agartha, you still have a body to fit in." He answered.
Slowly, my body regains its natural composition. My breathing went normal. But my heart won't just stop. And I'm afraid he already hears my thumping.
My body? Is it well? Am I too injured? Does my parents on my side, worrying?
"I-I don't understand.." Too much questions, but I chose to play blind. I don't wanna know the truth. I wanna live here.
I want to live this dream.
"What if you are only dreaming, Lorietta? That me, my brothers, Perse, Agartha is just a dream.." He whispered.
I suddenly felt sadness. "No..this is not a dream."
He chuckled on my ear making me shiver. "I'm asking you, what if?."
For seconds, I felt numb. Reality hits me. What if am I just dreaming? That the accident has cause me to dream something like this? To feel something like this? Am I in comma? Well, obviously. Is it possible for my body up there to wake up?
Or not..
"I'm not yet ready to wake up, then." This time I faced him.
His eyes were now glowing. The hoodie on his head, covering entirely his hair was blown by the wind. Hindi iyon alintana dahil abala ang mga tao rito sa paligid. They were busy on their own worlds, on their own creations, on their own lives.
"Time will come." He said, deja vu.
Kumunot ang aking noo.
"Lorietta, you are a human. You can't be here forever." He said.
"Resurrect me, Zeus. Kill me. If that's what it takes, then do it. I'm here for a reason. And I'm not dreaming. This is a real world! The Prophecy! Involving my grams! My car accident! I am your mate, right? It's just I'm not yet immortal."
He bit his lip. "You don't understand."
"Make me."
Silence filled us. With our breath ragging, we continued staring at each others eyes. His eyes were still glowing like crazy. Did we just stop arguing? Or is this even an argument?
"If I'm gonna resurrect you, I will die. If you'll leave Agartha, I'll vanish through the thin air that fast, Lorietta.." He said.
My jaw dropped. How is that?!
"You're an immortal! You can't die! You won't die!." I hissed at him, almost yelling.
Nagiinit bigla ang bawat sulok ng mga mata ko. And seconds later, I felt a warm liquid gushing out of my eyes. I can't imagine him gone, I can't imagine a day without seeing him. Maybe noon, pero ngayon? Maraming nagbago.
He smiled. "Humans have lovebirds, right?."
Crying, I nodded gently. He wiped my tears using his thumb.
"They die when one of their mates was gone. They die because of loneliness, longing, sadness, guilt, and madness." He added.
I don't get it. I don't fucking get it, okay!? I don't want him gone, that's what I want to happen! I don't want him gone in my life. I don't want him gone for my whole existence.
"Come on, stop crying..." He urge while chuckling.
I shook my head abruptly. Ngayon dalawang daliri na ang nagpupunas sa aking mga luha. And I wish we could stay like this forever.
"If that's what the fate wants, we have to oblige." I sobbed. This is just half of the reality, what if I get to know everything pa?
"I--I won't leave. I won't leave, Zeus." I sobbed again, he pulled me into a hug.
I cried nonsense while he is chuckling behind me. What is damn wrong with me?! I was bullied almost all my life but I didn't shed any single tear! Pero eto?! How did this made me cry!
He pulled my face so he can see me. Bahagyang kumalma na ang sistema ko sa pag iyak. His stares were enough for me to stop. O may ginagawa lang siya para mapaginhawa ang pakiramdam ko?
"You are such a kid." He said while grinning at me.
I playfully hit his chest.
Slwoly, he pulled my face close to him. Nang makita kong itinagilid niya ang kaniyang ulo ay halos mabaliw na ang sistma ko. Funny how moody am I today. Malamang ay ang gulo gulo na ng loob ng katawan ko dahil sa halo halong emosyon. Literally.
He's gonna kiss me. Damn! Damn! Dammit!
I closed my eyes and wait for it to happen. And when it did, butterflies, I felt on my stomach. Fireworks and explosions were heard. Just like a movie. This, I think, is a very memorable thing remember. And when I get to return to Earth? I won't forget this.
