(Y/N)'s POV
Being part of the Ro'Meave family isn't as hard as everyone thinks. There's just a couple of easy 'rules' to follow, such as you must maintain good grades, never get into problems and if you do, know how to get out of them on top. Always uphold the 'responsibilities that come with the Family name' that's what dad, Garte, tells us.
Today is the first day of high school for Zane and Vylad. Garroth and I have already suffered a year of it. Garroth and I are 16, Zane is 15 and Vylad is 14. Though I'm the second oldest, people don't really seem to notice me, not that I mind. It's always the Ro'Meave brothers! And the sister. Mom, Zianna, says it shouldn't get to me. She says I'm the favorite since I'm the only girl.
There's a knock at my door, followed by a deep voice.
"Baby sister are you almost done?? It's Zane's and Vylad's big day today!!" I finished doing my hair and putting my uniform on. I grabbed my bag and opened to the door.
"All done Garroth! Are the two little freshmen excited??" He chuckles.
"Vylad is excited and Zane doesn't seem to care but I'm sure they're both freaking out!"
We walk downstairs together and meet our parents there.
"There's two of my little angels! Gargar and (N/N), are you two ready?"
"For the most part yeah mom, I'm just happy I'm not a freshman anymore." I sit down at the table and mom puts a plate of (f/b) In front of me, I smile and begin eating.
"Are you driving them today Garroth?" Dad asks, his face in the newspaper reading about current times I'm sure.
"Sure, I don't mind." Garroth sits next to me and begins to eat his breakfast.
"I wonder what's taking so long.. You don't think they've overslept right?" Mom asked with a worried tone.
We heard footsteps coming downstairs from the stairs, we all looked up and started laughing. Zane and Vylad were both having problems with their ties.
"Oh baby brothers, you two should ask for help!" Garroth got up and approached them.
"I don't need your help!" Zane reddened from embarrassment.
"I need help!" Vylad cheerfully said.
"Come here Zuzu, mommy will help you."
Zane neglectfully walked over to mom and she fixed his tie.
I stood up and grabbed my bag from my chair. "Should we get going? Garroth and I are teacher aids and our assigned teachers might need our help already."
Mom looks at me and smiles.
"My two babies are all grown up! Helping teachers! And my two other babies are finally starting high school! I think I'm going to cry!"
Dad chuckles and sets the newspaper down. "You kids head on to school before your mother starts trying to take pictures."
Garroth grabbed the keys and I grabbed our lunches.
"Good idea dad, bye mommy!"
I went over and hugged mom.
"We'll be home later!"
Garroth and I walked out while Zane and Vylad got the talk about "upholding the family name".
We got in the car and buckled up.
"Anything you want to listen to?"
"I'm feeling some (f/s) today!"
Garroth chuckled and put on the song. Not too much later the boys came out. Vylad was holding Zane's hand and running towards the car.
"Sorry, we took so long! Dad was talking to us, we're not going to be late right?!"
"Calm down, we have fifteen minutes, besides the school doors probably aren't open yet." I lean back in my seat and hum along to the song.
Garroth drives off and talks with the boys about how to behave. I look down at my phone and I see I have a message. It's from Dante, he's one of my close friends.
|Are you almost here, your teacher is going crazy already! It's like he didn't even prepare.
I giggle.
| Yeah we're on our way, is he really that helpless??
|You have no idea! Can't wait to see you!
|I'll meet up with you at the fountain?
|Sure!
I put my phone in my pocket and handed the boy's lunches.
"-And whatever you do, do not hang out with the Shadow Knights! They're nothing but trouble."
I glanced at Zane and caught him rolling his eye, I smiled.
"That means you, Zane, even if you 'look up to them' don't hang out will them."
"I don't see what's so bad about them!"
Garroth and I glanced at each other and sighed.
"Just.. don't say we didn't warn you."
We arrived at our beautiful school. Garroth parked the car in the student parking lot, we all got out and I walked ahead of the boys.
"Look it's Garroth Ro'Meave!!" "Isn't he just a dreamboat?!" "I would love to be his girlfriend!"
I walked past a group of girls drooling at my brother, I almost threw up.
"Hey, beautiful."
I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Hey Dante, how was your summer?"
"Oh nothing too great, we went to visit some family, it was pretty boring since you weren't there." He smiled.
"Yeah I know I can be pretty entertaining." I giggled.
"So where's my helpless teacher?"
"Come on I'll take you to his room, he's been asking for his teaching aid since he got here!"
"Oh great, I got one of those."
We laughed, we started walking towards the doors. As we did, two all too familiar girls glared at Dante. He grabbed my hand and started walking faster.
"I guess that's still an issue?"
He shyly nodded.
A few minutes later I was in front of my homeroom. Class 202.
"Thanks for walking me, Dante!"
"Of Course, anything for my best friend." He smiled.
"See you later?"
"Of course, bye (Y/N)!"
I walked in and saw the teacher writing something on the chalkboard.
"Sorry but the class doesn't start yet."
"Ah sorry sir, I'm your aid-"
"-Thank goodness you're here! I need you to make copies of the syllabus ASAP, 82 to be exact."
He handed me a packet and I nodded.
"Of course, I'll be back."

After going to the copy room and getting the syllabus copied, I decided I needed a cart to bring them back. The class still hadn't started.
"Oh, thank goodness you're back! Thank you that's all I need right now so take a seat or go greet the freshmen."
I went out of the classroom and stood there waiting for lost fishes to come by. To my surprise, my brother, Zane, had this class as his homeroom.
The bell's chime echoed through the hallways and it seemed that nobody else was coming, so I took a seat next to Zane.
A few minutes later a girl with dark brown hair, almost black, and brown eyes walked in.
"Stop, wait. Let me guess-"
"- I'm so sorry I don't know this place very well and I-"
"-The cliche I'm late because I'm new excuse, right? You're lucky today is the first day and that you're a freshmen. The school sent our orientation packets during the summer and-"
"-I was homeschooled!"
"Oh, I see! Well, Then I won't give you flak for that. What's your name?"
"It's Aphmau-"
"Ah, I see your name. Very Unique. Now, take a seat. We're just about done calling role. Now let's see..."
The teacher continued to check the role until he got to Zane. Saying he said he expected a lot from him since he had Garroth last year.
The students got to talk amongst themselves until it was our turn to go to the Club Social.
