Evelynn Zephyr - POV;
"Wake up," a voice whispered into my ear as water was poured onto my face. I coughed and sputtered as I began to stir. I found myself seat on a wodden chair, bound at my hands, feet and waist to it by thick ropes. With my eyes blindfolded, I screamed, "What the heck do you Blaze bastards want with us? You've alreasy taken our friends and you take me now too? What do you hope to achieve?!"
"Calm yourself. Whatever you think is happening right now, you're wrong," a female voice murmered gently. The blindfold was ripped off and my eyes took a moment to adjust to the dimly lit room in which I was contained. Opposite to me, seated on a similar chair with her legs folded and her chin resting on her hand was a familiar face. She pushed back her green hair as she sat up straight and looked at me.
"Wh- what is the meaning of this?!" I burst out, "Explain yourself mom!"
"Jay, if you would please," my mother instructed on of the five Zephyr Clansmen who stood in a circle around us.
"Lady Catherine, are you sure?" he asked her.
"Yes," she confirmed, "otherwise she will just continue to lie like she has for the past couple of years to me to protect whatever secret she has been harboring."
Jay grabbed my head as he plunged a syringeinto my neck and dumped the contents into my body slowly.
"This truth serum will stop you from bending the facts and giving abridged versions of everything you should be saying," my mother murmured.
"Wh- why?" I asked as my vision began to blur.
"You've been a dishonest girl my dear daughter. Unfortunately I must punish you like any good mother," Catherine said nonchalantly, "Now tell me, what were you doing at the abandoned town south of this City with Xyder?"
"How did you-"
"Answer my question!" she shouted slamming her fist down on the armrest of her chair.
"We were- I was following a riddle I had discovered and was slowly solving. It led me to the library of that town. Xyder just tagged along because he wanted to. He didn't know why I was there."
"What riddle are you speaking of? Where did you find it?" she interrogated.
"For over a decade I had been researching old texts and long lost manuscripts or books for details reguarding the Elemental Gods and Deities of this Era. Whenever I would leave to train for a few weeks, the truth is I spent most of them time doing said research. Over a long period I pieced together a certain riddle scattered across a number of the most ancient texts which read;
'The town seated below the towers of flame, Easterly of the tranquil watery bay and west of the land of hail served survailance in times of war and pain. There within the castle of words lies my ancient tomb containing secrets untold. To open the door of ten seals use only the blood which possesses all keys'."
"I assume that you found the tomb. Was the door already open? If not, who opened it? Was anything inside?" she pressed.
"We found the tomb with the help of Jaya, one of the girls living at the town at the time. She had been researching similar topics reguarding the beginning of the time and Era. She carried us to the door which she had been trying to open for ages but was unsuccessful. When Xyder heard the riddle, he cut open his palm and used his own blood to open it. When we went in, we found a diamond coated book. It was called The Third Prophecy."
"What?! Evelynn! Where is that book now?!" she exclaimed.
"I don't know."
"You have to know something!" she growled.
"We were bringing the book to Fenix City with us, or atleast planned to. While on the road, we realised that Xyder had left his bag at the town with the book and instead picked up a similar bag belonging to one of the residents. We turned around and that's when we noticed that the town had been caught on flames. We hurried back to find it mostly destroyed and overrun by demon dogs. The residents who were there told me that before we arrived however, a man claiming to be named Blaze had dug through Xyder's bag before disappearing. I think he has it because the book was gone after that. But I don't know where he took it," I explained.
"Blaze......" she trailed off, "Do you know what happened to Incendio?"
"He died. His heart was ripped out by the man with the claws."
"The man with the claws? Who was it?" she prodded.
"Xyder said that he claimed to be leader of an Elemental Clan called Zegarth."
"Zegarth? What element did he have?" she enquired.
"I don't know myself, but Xyder told me it was the Dark Element."
"The Dark Element....... tch," mom gulped as she said it, "And do you know what he was after?"
"I think he was working with Blaze. He was the one leading the demon dogs. I don't know how but Xyder said he was sure Zegarth led them. I didn't hear it myself but according to Xyder while both of them fought, Zegarth told him that they would not stop until they brought their lord back from the grave."
"And who was this lord?" mom questioned.
"Xyder told me that Zegarth said he must walk the world once again."
"Who?!" mom demanded.
"Zephyrus."
Upon hearing the name, my mother jumped back, her eyes open and her hands shaking in fear.
"Lady Catherine?" Jay called out.
"I... I'm fine," she said, regaining her senses.
"Evelynn, why were you researxhing the God's in the first place," she continued her questioning.
"I heard rumours of Gods besides the elemental deities spoken of in history. Furthermore there were inklings of one with a great deal of power who could do the impossible. I had to find that power."
"Power? What power was it that you were looking for?" she asked.
"The power of the infinite one. The power of the Wolven Devil."
My mother immediately shot up from her seat and grabbed me by the face. Staring into my eyes she questioned, "Why?!"
"He has the power to revive the dead. He could bring back Xyder's parents and make Xyder happy again."
With quivering hands and teary eyes my mother picked up another syringe and injected me once more.
"Evelynn, this one should stop you from saying anything even if you wanted to about all of this but nevertheless I want to hear you promise that you won't mention a word of this to anyone," my mother cried.
"I... I promise," I told her.
"Evelynn, what I'm about to tell you is the truth. The truth about Zephyrus and Xyder's parents as well as the events of eleven years ago when Xyder was declared an orphan."

Xyder Zephyr - POV;
"What the hell is this?!" I shouted, dropping the letter and image to the ground. The picture showed a bruised, beaten and half stripped Rydia both bound and gagged. Scribbled below were the words;
'We told you not to participate. This is a tadte of what happens when you disobey us.'
"What the hell! But we didn't join how is this possible?!" Sorine cried out.
"Because I signed us all up," Evelynn said walking into our room.
"What?! We told you we won't fight!" I roared.
"But grandfather said yes, we will. The word of the Regulus is absolute!"
