It had been a little over a year since you had seen Sherlock. He never tried to contact you and if you tried calling him, he just never answered. After about two or three weeks you gave up. If Sherlock was gonna hold a grudge against you for this long. You stayed in touch with John and Mary and the others though. After a while, you decided that you would go and visit Baker Street. You drove to the flat and knocked on the door. Mrs. Hudson answered and she smiled at you.
"Y/n dear! You're back!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah. Umm, is Sherlock here?" You asked.
"No, he's on a case." She answered.
"Alright. I'll go and wait for him upstairs." You said.
Mrs. Hudson nodded and you made your way up the stairs and into the flat. You sat down on the couch and waited for him to get back.
~Sherlock's POV~
Y/n had been gone for a little over a year. She had tried to call me or text me but I didn't know how I would face her after yelling at her. I never answered and just tried to go on with the day like nothing was different. I missed her so much and wanted to see her. I was currently at a case but I wanted to leave. Usually I wanted a case but right now I didn't. I didn't know why but I just had this feeling that I should head home. So once I had solved the case, I rushed back to 221B. I walked in and climbed the stairs skipping every other step. I opened the flat door and my eyes widened when I saw who was sitting on the couch.
"Hello, Sherlock." She said standing up.
"Y/n." I breathed.
~Your POV~
"Y/n." Sherlock said when he saw you.
You smiled and suddenly didn't know what to say. You avoided looking at him as much as possible. When you finally started to speak, Sherlock did too.
"Look, /n I-"
"Sherlock, I-"
Both of you speaking at the same time. You each stopped and felt embarrassed.
"You go ahead." You said.
"Y/n, I am so sorry for what I said a while ago. I don't know why I said it, but I did and I am sorry." He said with pleading eyes.
You knew he was sorry and you had missed him. But you still weren't sure if you could forgive him.
"I want to forgive you, Sherlock. But you kicked me out and this past year has been horrible for me. Well, not al of it was bad." You said.
"I know. And I'm sorry. I overreacted. I know you can't forgive me but that won't change the fact that I still love you." He said.
You couldn't hold back and broke down crying. You collapsed into his arms and cried on his shoulder. He rubbed your back soothingly to help calm you down.
"I missed you Sherlock." You said.
"I missed you too." He said.
You sniffed and looked up at him, "I forgive you." You said.
Sherlock smiled and you wrapped your arms around him. Sherlock then looked up and raced to his bedroom.
"Sherlock?" You called after him.
He came right back out and toon your left hand. You were confused until you felt him slide your ring back on your finger. You smiled and kissed him. When you pulled away you smiled.
"I have someone that you should meet." You said.
Sherlock looked at you confused, "Who?" He asked.
"Come with me." You said leading him down the stairs.
He got into the passenger seat of your car and you got in the driver seat. You started the engine and drove to the Watson's house. You knocked on the door and John answered the door.
"Mary! Y/n's back!" He called.
"Already?" Mary asked a little disappointed.
You both walked in and you smiled at Mary.
"I don't understand. Why are we here if I'm supposed to-" Sherlock never finished his sentence when he saw Mary walk up.
You smiled and took your child from her arms. Sherlock stared down at he little baby boy in your arms.
"This is William. Our son." You said.
"He is?" Sherlock asked, and you could see tears in his eyes.
You nodded, "I found out not long after I had left. So, here we are!" You said.
Sherlock looked at you, "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
"I tried. I called you after I found out I was pregnant but you didn't pick up." You explained.
"I am so sorry." He said.
"I know. And I promise that I will never leave again." You said. "As long as you stop your addiction." You added in.
Sherlock laughed, "Deal." He said.
"Good." You smiled.
Sherlock pressed a kiss on his sons forehead and stared at him. "And I will always take care of you." He said softly. "I love you both." Sherlock said looking from William to you.
You nodded, "And so do I."
