You stared at you phone, tears slip down your cheeks as you look at the text you sent your boyfriend.

Say something.

He had cheated on you while you were away for the SPNCon. At least he had the decency to tell you himself, but he was a douchbag for telling you through text message.

'Say something. Cause I'm giving up on you...on us.' You typed out. You gave him so many chances before. You were hoping there would be redemption, this time. But no. Not this time.

You got off your bed, your brown hair swaying back and forth as you walked out of your hotel room. You wandered mindlessly, letting your feet take you wherever they deemed to go. You wiped away the tears that stained your slender cheeks, your eyes puffy and red. You pushed past the bustling crown in the hallway, keeping your head down, your (e/c) eyes casted to the carpeted floor. You looked at the elevator that opened up, people rushing out, ready to go to their beds and sleep. You sighed, taking their place. You hit the button for the first floor, leaning against the back wall of the confined space. You closed your eyes, thinking back to all the times you've been an idiot, to all the times you thought maybe he would change, no matter how many times he screwed up and no matter how many chances you gave him. But, oh so foolish and naive you've been.

The elevator stopped, dinging when it reached the bottom floor, the doors sliding open. You dropped your head back down, lethargically walking out. You looked around the empty, spacious hotel lobby. The only people occupying the room was the receptionist and you. You walked towards one of the windows, looking out into the night. It's not super cold there in [state of your choice], but it was chilly for a summers night. You let out a heavy sigh, turning towards the lobby again. You look over to the convention hall, remembering there's a piano in there. Then you glance to the receptionist, noticing that she's not paying attention, just playing on her phone. You quietly sneak over to the door, opening it and slipping in without a sound.

Quietly closing the door, you let the dark room wash over you. It was empty, safe for you to hide in and pour out your feelings. You pulled out your phone, turning on the flash light to find the light switch for the spotlight that shines on the piano. Finding the right one, you switch it on and turn off your flashlight. You let the spotlight guide you to your destination, your feet carrying you swiftly there.

You stand near the edge of the stage, for it stands as tall as you, coming to your shoulders. You put your hands flat on the floor of the stage, hoisting yourself up, putting a knee on the stage and swinging your other foot up. Standing up and brushing yourself off, you steadily walk to the piano.

Sitting on the bench, you lifted the cover up, revealing the keys. You run your fingers over them lightly, trying to keep yourself from shaking.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you.." You felt your heart sinking, knowing that you would have. You've been faithful to him and he...he just screwed you over. Too many times.

"And I... am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all
And I... will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl," you didn't know what to think. This relationship was over your head. You didn't know what to do anymore.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you," the sad thing is, before he cheated, you would have followed him anywhere, if it meant you'd be together. Now, he's done it again, and you're the fool again.

"And I... will swallow my pride
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying goodbye," tears started to roll down your cheeks, but you kept your voice steady as your body shook. You loved him, you did. But you have to let him go.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
And anywhere I would've followed you (Oh-Ooh)
Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something..." You slowly stopped playing the keys, your hands shaking as you broke down. A sob escaped your lips, a shaky hand covering your mouth as you tried to keep yourself silent. You heard your phone notify you of a text message, guessing it was him. You ignored it, placing your hands over your face.

Meanwhile, Rob and Jensen came back into the convention hall, Robbie claiming he forgot something.

"Dude, I'm serious. I left my phone back there on stage somewhere." Robbie exclaimed, walking down the hall, pushing open the back door for the convention.

"How could you-" Jensen started to ask, only to get a hand to the chest.
"Sh, do you hear that?" Robbie whispered, looking between his friend and to the stage. Jensen gave him a confused look, then furrowed his eyebrows as he heard music coming from the convention hall. "Come on." Robbie motioned Jensen to follow him, sneaking into the room.

"Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you."

"Whoa.." Robbie breathed out, staring at this brunette beauty, singing her heart out.

"Wow." Jensen huffs, speechless as he watches you.

"And I....will swallow my pride, you're the one that I love, and I'm saying goodbye." They watch tears falling down your cheeks, gleaming in the spotlight. "Say something, I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
And anywhere I would've followed you (Oh-Ooh)
Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something..." Your voice faded out with the piano, running your fingers back over the keys. They heard the sob that left your lips, hands coming to hide your tearful features. They felt heartbroken and protect-full over someone who they don't even know. Robbie was the first one to get up, his crystal blue eyes watery. He clambers up the steps quietly, Jensen getting up to follow him.

When Robbie was a few feet away from you, he stopped. He looked to his friend, Jensen urged him on to say anything to get your attention.

"Uh, hi, excuse me, ma'am?" Robbie said nervously, tapping your shoulder lightly.

Your jumped at the contact, turning frantically around to see who is behind you. Your (e/c) eyes widen in shock, staring at the men who looked back at you. "Oh, um, I'm so-sorry...I didn't mean to-uh," you choked out, fidgeting with your olive green zip up hoodie.

"No, no it's okay." Jensen quipped. "We came in here because Robbie somehow forgot his phone." He explained, giving the smaller man an expression of saying "you're an idiot."

"And when we came in here, we heard you singing." Robbie added, ignoring the look Jensen gave him, sitting down next to you. "Why are you crying, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Um, well....my boyfriend cheated...on me, again." You shrugged. You turned back to the piano keys, scooting over so Jensen can sit on the other side of you. "I guess I just gave him to many chances for redemption and that's what he's expecting this time. I guess." You huff out a chuckle. Lifting up your hands, you wipe tears away from your eyes, putting them down on the keys and playing a random song.

"So, who's the douche? And let me guess, he told you through text?" Robbie asked, his tone bitter. Bitter at the thought of someone breaking your heart over and over again.

"Max." Your lip quivered and your heart ached at saying his name out loud. "Yeah he did. Quite douchey honestly." You laughed dryly, your fingers pressing the correct keys for song "I'll be Good," by Jaymes Young.

"When did he cheat on you this time?" Jensen asked, watching your fingers float over keys like they were feathers. Delicate and soft.

"This afternoon." You frowned, looking over at the man. "I'm foolish to think I could've fixed this relationship so many times. Today just proves that I can't. Can't fix him. Can't fix this relationship." You shrug.

"He doesn't deserve you." Robbie pipes up after listening to you. "And you don't deserve to cry or have your heart be broken so many times. I barely know you and can already tell that your an amazing person. So fuck him. You deserve someone who's better." He says, placing his hands over the keys, playing the opening keys (chords) to a song you couldn't quite figure out.

"He's right, ya know. You don't need some dickhead that's gonna keep begging you to come back, or for another chance. When in reality, he's just going to do it again." Jensen places his hand on your shoulder, causing you to look him in the eyes. "Plus, you are a gorgeous girl, who has a beautiful voice and who could get any guy she wanted." Jensen gives you a smile, rubbing your back comfortingly.

"Thank you, Jensen." You smile back. "And thank you, Robbie." You say, turning to the bearded man, playing his own song 'CA Nation.'

"No problem, sweetheart." Jensen chuckles, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.

"My pleasure..." Robbie furrows his eyebrows, realizing he doesn't know your name.

"[y/n]. My name is [Y/N]." You giggle, giving him a small smile.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Robbie says, smirking.

You hear your phone go off again, drawing your attention back to the asshole of a boyfriend you had. You pull out your phone, opening up your messages. Not realizing how many texts you had got from him, your eyebrows shoot up in surprise.

'I'm sorry'
'Please answer me'
'I love you'
'Let me explain'
'I'm calling you, right now.'

As expected, your phone played out the ringtone you had set for him. You rolled your eyes, looking at the screen before deciding to answer it. "Hello, asshole."

You saw Jensen look at you stunned in the corner of your eye. You turned to glance at him, cocking an eyebrow at him. You listened to your soon to be ex ramble on about he's sorry and how he didn't mean to.

"We'll do me a favor, you two legged twat. Take your apology and shove it up your ass, before I shove my boot up it so far that you'll be picking the soles of my shoes out of your teeth. Then, maybe next time while you're fucking the brains out of some other horse face thunder cunt, you'll realize your mistakes. I hope the guilt of all the bullshit you did to me, weighs heavily down on you while you sleep, you dickwad. So fuck off, we're done. Douchebag." You hung up your phone, shoving it back into your jacket pocket. You glance at Robbie and Jensen, who have been staring at you with slack jaws. You put a hand under each of their chins, closing their mouths. "Don't want you boys to catch flies." You smirk, turning back to look in front of you.

"Damn." Jensen mutters.
"I second that. Damn, girl." Robbie shakes his head.
"I third that. I'm furious."
"You're scary when you're mad." Robbie chuckled.

The back door to the convention hall swings open, Jared and Misha walking in. "We've been looking for you two everywhere and you hanging out with a girl? How typical." Jared jokes, hoping onto the stage.

"We got distracted, Jare. She was singing." Jensen shrugs, pushing blame on you.

"Hey, no one told y'all to creep on me!" You shot back, crossing your arms.

"And quite beautifully, may I add." Robbie says, standing up and holding out a hand to you. You gladly take it, swinging your legs over the bench and stand up.

"Oh shush." You pout, trying to hide your blush.

"So why were you singing in here?" Misha asks, coming to stand next to Jared.

"Uh, just broke up with my boyfriend."
"Oh, how long ago?" Jared asked, sympathetic.
"Like, five seconds ago." You chuckle.
"I am so sorry." Misha says, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Why don't you come hang out with us and we can get to know you better?"

You look between the four men, contemplating if you should or not. "Why the hell not? It's not like I have anything planned for tonight."

"Yes! Time for alcohol and ice cream!" Jared cheered, turning around and squatting down. "Get on my back."

"Really?" You chuckled, shrugging as you hopped on. "[Y/N] by the way."

"Nice to meet you, (Y/N)." Jared smiles, carrying you off stage. You wrap your arms around his shoulders tentatively, your legs around his waist.

That's how you spent your night. Spilling out your heart through music, then meeting people who actually cared when they barely know you, to spending the night with them, half drunk and eating ice cream, watching any movie that made you feel better.

It was one of the best nights you've had in a while.

Plus more to come.
