Months later after meeting the Winchester Boys, You had drove across the country back to your home. Many hunters seemingly don't have homes, due to being constantly on the move because of their lives. Either it's taken or it isn't safe. You, along with the Winchester Brothers, were lucky to find places or people that you could call home. Despite your reputation for being the Demon Huntress, you had less to yourself. You were alone and worked alone. Other hunters got in your way, mostly men trying to protect you when you're on a hunt and they ended up getting hurt or dying. You had friends, but only a select few knew you for who you are. Not just the Demon Huntress, but you.

Yawning, you slowed your midnight blue '67 Chevy Camaro into the parking lot of a small diner. You were just a few hours away from the state border to Colorado. A friend in the hunting world had slipped you a tip of another horde of demons. They didn't know how big it was, but something was going down in Hell for demons starting to come topside. Parking, you locked your door and pocketed your keys in your rustic brown leather jacket. You tucked ringlets of your dark brown hair behind your ear as you walked into the diner, casting your gaze about before sliding into a booth toward the back.

The few people that occupied other booths, glanced your way briefly before turning their gazes back to their phones, friend, or their food. A waitress with shoulder length blonde hair that framed a sweetheart face. Bright blue eyes rested upon high cheekbones and a soft yet strong jaw that defined her profile. She smiled warmly at you, notepad in hand and ready to take your order.

"Good evening! What can I get for you, hon?" She chimed.

You smiled softly in return, your gray gaze resting on her. "Just coffee, please."

"Coming right up. Let me know if you want anything else." She turned on her heel as you nodded curtly, a faint smile resting on your lips. You turned your attention to the window, noticing a jet black car turning into the parking lot and parking a space down from your car. You watched with interest, tilting your head when three men got out of the car. Groaning eternally, you turned your gaze to your phone as you pulled it out of your pocket. You skimmed through reports about events happening in Colorado, when you heard the bell chime at the door.

The waitress came back to your table, placing down your coffee mug. You glanced up, meeting your gaze. You smiled gratefully. "Cream and sugar?"

"Please." You replied softly. "Thank you."

Sam, Dean and Cas took a seat behind your booth. You sighed disdainfully, sincerely hoping that they weren't heading for your next hunt and that they were just passing through. Mixing in sugar and milk into your coffee, you listened in to their conversation.

"I don't see why we can't just go in guns blazing?" Dean scoffed, sipping his coffee. Sam rolled his eyes, shaking his head.

"We don't have the guns or man power to go all out. If we had Jack, we would maybe have had a fighting chance." He reasoned, pulling out his phone and looking over reports.

"We can always just sit this one out or we can find him." Cas added, tilting his head. "Or how about that one lady? The Demon Huntress."

You tensed, your hand tightening around your mug as the man behind you suggested that they work with you. You heard Dean sigh as he picked up his coffee again. Silence prevailed for a moment before he said anything.

"I don't think she would want to work with us." He grunted, turning his gaze from Cas to the window, then back again. "She seemed cold. In all honesty, she could have probably handled the last horde by herself if we weren't there."

You smiled cheekily, turning your head to look over your shoulder. "I had it handled, but I see that you like to get your hands dirty in everything."

You laughed coolly, turning around fully as Sam and Dean jumped in their seats. Cas furrowed his brows, turning to look at you. When his deep ocean blue eyes rested on you, the curious gaze deepened. You raised a brow, your profile emotionless. "Cat got your tongue?"

"N-no. It's just I-" Cas cleared his throat turning away. "It's nothing."

Sam and Dean exchanged hard glances before switching them to Cas and you. Sam pursed his lips together before he broke his silence. "Do you know each other somehow?"

You shook your head, answering briskly. "Nope."

Finishing your coffee, you pulled out cash and slid out of your seat. You turned on your heel, stopping just before you walked past their table. "Good seeing you boys. Next time, I won't be so cold."

Dean stared at you dumbfounded, an embarrassed blush creeping up his freckled cheeks. He turned in his seat, watching you leave and hop into your car. Sam sighed disdainfully, sipping his drink. "You should really watch what you say, Dean."

"How was I supposed to know she would be right there?" He growled. He watched through the window as your car pulled out of the parking lot and turn to the right, heading for the border.

Sam muttered something, but Dean wasn't listening. Something about You bugged him and he wanted to figure it out. It was like an itch he wanted to scratch and he couldn't stop until he was completely satisfied. Cas cleared his throat again, catching Sam and Dean's attention.

"I must go. There's something I must take care of."

Dean raised a brow, a mixture of curiosity and disdain on his appearance. "Angel business?"

Cas nodded. "I'll see you both later."

Dean waved dismissively as Sam called over his shoulder, then angel walking outside and disappearing.

An hour had passed and it had been silent during your car ride. You gritted your teeth, your anger pouring out of you in waves. You should have never stopped in the first place. They wouldn't have found you if you didn't. Now, the possibility of going back into hiding until they forgot about you again crossed your mind.

You reached for the volume button, only for you to freeze and look to the passenger seat. Dropping your hand, you focused your attention back on the road.

"Castiel." You called out somberly.

"You should return. Despite everything, you should return." He replied softly, his gruff voice making his tone rustic. You laughed coolly, the sound barely above a whisper.

"I can't. I'm going to get my end and I'm not apologizing for it. I'll keep my promise for the protector, everyone else is on hold. It'll be one hell of a time, Cas." Your tone was dry with a trace of dark humor. Cas shook his head remorsefully, sighing before he answered with calculated words. "Just you wait."

"It's long due for order and you can help us. Demons aren't going to stop coming and more will only appear the more you take out. I don't know what you promise, but it is almost hopeless. Just return." He pressed, his gaze locked on you.

"Don't you dare give me a sorry excuse for having heaven on hold. I can't compare my end to everyone else being saved from the depths underneath." You bit with a harsh tone, passing a heated glare onto Cas. He gazed at your warily, cautiously.

"I don't understand." He muttered. "Why?"

"Call me a liar or call me a cheat. Call me a sinner for being lost in my selfish ways. Lord help me, if only he hasn't disappeared. Again." You spoke solemnly, sobering. "I feel dirty for the things I've done Castiel, but these things must be done for certain ends to be met."

"Whatever it is, let me help you." He replied softly, sincerely. You quickly gaze at him, then focused back on the road. "Along with Sam and Dean. They'll understand. They can help more than you think they can."

Silence settled over you both as you considered his proposition. If this hunt goes wrong, she'll have no choice but to save Sam, Dean, and Cas. She weighed the pro's and con's of them joining her on this job, finally sighing.

"Fine, Castiel. But I swear to you," You said in a warning tone. "I will not hesitate to bring out a level you've never seen."

Castiel nodded, disappearing from your car and going only god knows where. Sighing in relief as you saw the "Welcome to Colorado" sign, you sped up to find the closest town and hotel.

"Just you wait."
