You are tragically beautiful
With ivory arms
Wrapped around a slender waist
With eyes that shine like stars
In the night sky
No matter how dark they become
You look at me
Like you've seen it all
Ready to tell a story
A story of how you ran
I wanted to turn away,
But here I sit
With wide eyes
Filled with amazement.
You took me,
In strong arms
Told me not to be afraid
I couldn't help it
I was then
I wanted to tell you "no"
But then you kissed me
Like it was the right thing to do
Now I believed,
It was going to be okay.
