~~The Sleeping Beauty~~
"mayowazu, nakihajimeta kirisame tachi..."
Hearing such a beautiful voice singing out loud in the middle of a forest, you were attracted to it. Almost as if it was calling out to you. You had no idea where it was coming from but you searched for it alongside your beautiful white horse anyway.
"yasashiku, sekai no tobira o tozasu
te o nobashi~..."
The beauty of the voice singing such a sorrowful melody assured you that the person singing must be a very beautiful person too. Indeed, it was a sorrowful song... You wondered if he was also sad while singing it. The song could make you feel the pain of that person, you frowned while continuing your search.
"fureta mono ga kokochiyokute
nando mo, kono mune o sasu yo..."
The voice got louder and louder, he must not be far. And just beyond the trees, you saw...
"nee...... kiete......"
Shocked and bewildered by the identity of the man, you accidentally tripped on a tree branch.
Your horse made a disturbing, neigh noises as it was also surprised by your sudden fall ><
"...!!"
The man stopped singing and turned to look at you.
"O-Oww..."
"Who are you...?"
The blond standing by the river bank questioned.
"S-Sorry to disturb you." You quickly stood up, bowing as you apologized.
"..." He merely stared at you, seeming to observe you without uttering anything anymore.
"I-I'll go now." You said, turning around, not forgetting to bring your horse along ><
"Wait."
"Y-Yes!?"
"...you are injured, aren't you?"
You finally looked at him in the eye. You noticed he had a very beautiful pair of sapphire blue eyes which captivated you then.
"Uh, yeah..."
His eyes bore no particular emotion but somehow, you felt that he cared, "...come with me to my cottage, I'll treat you."
"Um, I think I'm fine.."
"It will be troublesome if it got infected."
You couldn't argue with that line.
You nodded and clutched your cloak, "Thanks..."

"O-Oww!!"
"Done.."
"Thank you very much." You thanked him with a blush. He nodded, putting away the cotton and all the first aid kit stuffs.
"Oh?? What is this??"
You went wide-eyed.
"Eehh~? Shuu, you brought home a girl? What could this mean!?"
"Shut up, Laito."
"Hey, Laito–! Who the hell is that girl!?"
"Don't shout near my ears, Ayato-kun~"
"Laito, where did you put my candies!?"
"Don't push me, Kanato!"
You frowned at the scene unfolding before you, "Um..."
"Ah, Shuu. Have you gathered the berries?" The purple-haired young man in blue clothings asked.
"Yeah, here." The person you met, whose name was Shuu handed him a basket full of berries he had been carrying.
"Wow~ that's quite a lot." The one carrying a sweep in green clothings commented.
"Anyway, Laito, where did you put my takoyaki stocks!?" The red-haired, also in red clothings shouted yet again.
"I'm sorry for this situation." Shuu sighed, rubbing his temple. "It's ok." You chuckled.

"Thank you for having me here," You bowed at the four of them before leaving on your horse.
Your heart started to beat faster on the way back to your castle. You acted as if you were of a commoner but in actuality, you were a princess of the country which lied just beyond this forest.
Remembering Shuu, a blush made its way to your face and you started smiling uncontrollably.
Is this what you call love?

"AAHH, AYATO-KUN! WHY DID YOU RUIN MY HARDLY SEWN SUIT FOR SHUU!?"
"SHUDDUP! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"
"YOU TWO SHUT UP! I CANNOT CONCENTRATE ON BAKING THE CAKE!"
"AAAHH! AYATO, DON'T COME NEAR HERE!"
"HEY! DON'T STEP ON THE FABRIC, AYATO-KUN!"
"Gaahh! This is useless! Why don't we just use magic!?"
"..."
"Good idea." Laito and Kanato said in unison.
As they sewed the suit and baked cake, red, green and purple sparks exited the chimney. The bat hanging upside down on a nearby tree flew.

"Shuu, listen."
Shuu took out the earbuds out of his ears and stared at the triplets.
"I've got something to say." Laito announced, "Actually, you are a son of King Karlheinz and Queen Beatrix of the nearby kingdom."
"..."
"Yeah," Ayato nodded, "We have hid this from you your entire life but..."
Their confessions continued. It shocked Shuu to no end. That he was of a royal heritage... he never thought about that possibility. And they mentioned about him being engage to a princess of a neighbouring country because they were aware of what was going on in Shuu's heart. They told him to forget about the commoner he met a few days ago and said they'd take Shuu back to the castle in the evening.

"This way, Shuu. Follow us." Kanato said.
Shuu only let out a sigh, his earphones stucked in his ears as classical music kept on flowing in. He was disappointed and heartbroken. He felt nothing good would come if he was a son of royalties, he'd rather be a commoner.
That girl, whose name he never found out... He couldn't forget the gentle smile of hers. Her soft voice saying feelings of gratitude repeatedly...
"Shuu..."
He went wide-eyed and stopped his tracks.
He turned to look at his right and what he saw shocked him.
"Come here, Shuu..!" She whispered. Shuu looked at the triplets and saw they were busy with themselves then took the chance to escape.
The blond ran towards her but she walked away.
"Hey." He called out.
She smiled, "Follow me, Shuu. I'll tell you my name later, just follow me!"
Shuu frowned but followed her nevertheless.
'Did I lost her?' He thought, slightly panting.
"Shuu.. Shuu!!"
'I can still hear her voice.. this way?'
He slowly made his way towards a huge door. He pushed it and found out it was unexpectedly pretty light.
A spinning wheel greeted his line of sight.
"Shuu..."
"Yes, come here... Ririe."
Shuu's eyes turned red, his own consciousness slowly fading.
A man with dark hair and glasses revealed himself in front of the controlled Shuu.
He had a vicious smirk displayed on and a maniacal laughter left his lips eventually, "Oh, Ririe. How long do you think I have waited for this day to come?"
Shuu slowly, very slowly, made his way to the cursed spinning wheel.
"Now, put your finger on top of my cursed needle!"
Obeying the order of the mysterious man, the controlled Shuu put his hand just right above the needle.
The man chuckled, "Farewell, Ririe. Shall you slumber for eternity just like the good-for-nothing son you are."
With that, the cursed needle pierced Shuu's index finger...

"..."
The room at the top of the tower was filled with silence. The triplet stood by Shuu's, or rather, Ririe's bed.
"Ririe.." Laito muttered.
"It's your fault for not paying attention, Ayato." Kanato spoke up. "Shut up." Ayato snapped.
The three frowned, before exiting the room and let Ririe rest peacefully.

The entire kingdom... no, the entire country was silent.
Only the wind blowing noises could be heard.
You who have just arrived, informed of Shuu's true identity was shocked.
You came down your horse and walked alongside it. Everyone was asleep, the country couldn't help but looked as if it was deserted.
You made your way towards the tall tower in which Ririe resided in.
"Ah, Princess [Y/N]!"
The familiar voice called out to you from behind. You turned around and saw the triplets floating in the air just like the fairies they are.
"You are–!"
"This way!" The red one exclaimed, guiding you towards the shortcut to the tower.

The expression on Ririe's face was very peaceful.
Even though it was peaceful, it saddened you somehow.
"Shuu..."
His name was Ririe indeed, but the name Shuu... it suited him more. You might be engaged to Ririe but the person you fell in love with was Shuu.
You held onto his hand. The thought of him never waking up ever again... brought tears to your eyes.
You sobbed as the tears streammed down, "Shuu..."
Your hand carressed his cheek. The memory of him singing, of you seeing his pair of beautiful eyes the first time, the memory of him treating your wound. It all flashed back.
You wiped away your tears. Slowly, carefully, gently... you leaned in.
And eventually, your lips met his.
You stood up after breaking the kiss and carressing his soft, blond hair. You stepped down the first stair, releasing a heavy sigh.
"You..."
'T-This voice—!?'
"I've... never catched your name though."

Watching the you and the sleeping beauty danced, the triplets were overwhelmed with feelings of happiness and relief.
"How could we forget that a kiss from a true love could wake him up?" Laito sighed. "Cuz Ayato is a dumbass." Kanato muttered as he munched on a piece of cake. "Why me!? It was you who changed the curse, hysteric!" Ayato shouted.
And~
They lived happily ever after.

I used the Disney's version of Sleeping Beauty cuz it's the one I'm most familiar with *^*
Now that I think about it... Reiji does suit the role of Maleficent '-'
CUZ CUZ, for most of the time, we thought that Maleficent is the true evil and doesn't have heart whatsoever BUT when Disney produced that Maleficent movie, it told us deeper about Maleficent and that she's actually a good person *^*
I luv how I wrote the triplets as the fairies XD
