It was smooth, like it was easy for him. No awkward pauses and no stuttering. You were just going to pick up Penelope for lunch at the BAU when you two ran into each other. While you waited for Penelope to grab her bag, he simply said, "So (y/n), I was thinking that I had fun with you the last time we hung out with Garcia." You nodded along and began to blush. "Do you think, though, that maybe sometime I could pick you up? Take you to dinner?" In your head you're screaming because you haven't stopped thinking about him, but on the outside you were cool about it. "Sure. That sounds like a good time." Just then Penelope walks up to you and says she ready to go. You both smile at each other as you walk to the elevator. You couldn't believe it, you were going to dinner with Derek Morgan...
Aaron Hotchner
One of the times that you "bumped" into him at the park he simply asked if you wanted to catch a movie. Simple. He said it quiet and looked down a bit after he said it. You could tell he was nervous, so leaned up and kissed his cheek. "I would love to see a movie with you." He blushed and you smiled. "Okay... Uh... Great... I uh..." He was a bit flustered so you helped him out. "How about you pick me up at 6 tomorrow. We can go see whatever movie." He smiled and took a breath of relief. "Yes. Okay. Great!" I'll see you then." He looked down at you proud of himself, he liked you for quite sometime. You smiled and nodded, it was such a good date.
Spencer Reid
You and Spencer decided to go to this play and then get coffee afterwards to talk about it. During the first half of the play you two sat and just watched. Sometimes he would lean over and tell you something that they got wrong or something. Other than that though, you two didn't say anything. However, during intermission you two were talking and the he just blurts out, "Do you think that these are dates?" I looked at him confused for a second. "I mean when we do stuff..." He was started to get nervous. You smiled to reassure him, "Spencer, these can be whatever you want them to be." He looked at you with hope in his eyes, then he looked down at him hands. "Uh... Then d-do... Uh... Do you think you would uh.. want to go on a date with me?" You smiled and nodded, " I would love to go on a date with you Spencer!" He nodded and looked at you, just looking. "What?" You asked him feeling a little worried. He just shook his head and said never mind. The play began again and you didn't worry about it. About ten minutes back into the play, you noticed that Spencer had scooted a little closer to you in his chair. You saw his hand awkwardly sitting by his leg, you gently reached for it and interlaced your fingers together. As you did this, Spencer looked down and you took the opportunity to kiss his cheek. He blushed and just said thank you.
