Well I honestly have so much to say, that i'll forget most of them while writing this.

Warning: Since I am giving my exaggerated opinion of Sonic OCs, I may give some examples that is somehow similar to another person's Sonic OC. Let me say now that I am not pointing fingers, and those similarities are probably just coincidences
This one is the complaint. Soon I will make an exaggerated guide to how not make a extremely bad OC
I never liked OC. And when I do they are probably really good. I have a really have a high taste for OCs, ever since jumping to this fandom. Pretty much because 70% of OCs here are repetative, or not even unique in some way. You, the creator might seem like they are neat, but not me. I don't want sound too judgemental, but listen to me.
I don't (kinda) care who you are or who your OC is, but I am speaking from the perspective of a viewer, not your BFF etc.
To get me started, design. I am not judging an OC based on the character's visual or how the owner draw them because not everyone can draw and I respect that. Some people can describe there OCs very well even without visuals and I like that. kudos to you!
But when you give or describe your OCs outfit like she is better off in a fighters game or an idol anime then we have problems. Don't over complicate what they look like just because you want them to look badass or awesome! Our imaginations aren't perfect!
Personality! Well I've seen a good amount of OCs here, and most of them were made to match the owners character for easier RP-ing. But I never liked how some characters are described or made to be too cool. Like everyone here almost has either always happy, shy or cool OCs. Fucking anime stereotypes! It's no one feel original.
SEGA Character interactions are one of the most difficult to judge since almost all of the OCs here are buddy-buddy or even fucking BFFFFFFFFFFFFFFs with SEGA characters. Like boy-ol-boy everyone's friends with everyone now!
I never like how some people would make everybody buddies and hangout just because they want to. Since when can Shadow and Rouge sit on a couch with Blaze and Silver and the whole cast watches a movie? NEVER. Also I kinda feel weird when someone makes their OC too close to an official character (not crush way) I mean some people makes it looks good but others make it weird. I can't honestly describe it specifically but hmm maybe in the future.
Everyone just makes everyone really close with SEGA characters for a reason I would probably never know why, to me is like a desperate attempt to make their OC lend in with the cast. Really guys, some people can do it amazingly and make them fit in real good, but some just feels so forced that I wanna throw up. (im sorry for being brutally honest btw)
Also! (Random Rant) Why is everyone almost ignoring Cream?! I fucking love her and just because she's a little kid doesn't mean she should be ignored! She's a more official Sonic character than your OCs! Cut her some slack! You guys make Tails look like #PreTeen but forget Cream like she isn't even there! (and Marine too! which btw if you didn't already notice is my fave character)
And just a small topic while we're at it, FUCKING ROMANCE BABY! Let's get to bussiness! A large population here ships themselves with a Sonic character, may it be here or outside of wattpad. I really find it awkward to find two Users who are friends but both ships their OCs with Sonic. i feel bad for them.
I find it kinda funny when I find buddies who all ships a SEGA character with their buddies OC, I mean atleast they all agree on something~.
But seriously I am so disturbed by some shipping here (other than the fact that almost everyone here seems to be a smut sonadow addict and thinks Mephilis is nothing but an octopus monster) because other than the ones that are OCs X OCs, they are just gonna make their OCs suitable to a specific character through some invented backstory, like making them childhood friends or someone they once loved in their past life or something like that. What I loved in most fanfictions and fanarts by artists is how subtle they are, but some ships here are so blunt with wanting to make their OCs became GF/BF with Canon characters that they even already made fan children for them.
Like I already said, I am not saying that shipping your OC with a SEGA character is wrong! I am saying that you should do it right, make it realistic and plasuible, so that even your random visitor of the day can find your fan made couple appealing, AND NOT LEAVE because of your endless Blank X Silver kissing fanarts.
Also since we're already in that topic, how about Changing a character's personality for the sake of a ship? I'm pretty sure I've said this before but you can't help because my topics are usually repetative.
I think already said something like this in the Silver rant but oh well. It just really really don't like when people make other people's or Archie/SEGA charaters OOC in specific scenes or scenarios!
Even the sole fact that some people likes making Shadow smirk like a thousand times is a no! He's an introvert not a fuck boy!
Changing Sonic from "Gotta Go Fast Hero" to Fuck Boy (suggested by my sis btw)
Changing Amy from "I love Sonic" to "Hey I like this random OC now but you can have Sonic if you wanna"
I just can't even look at specific writings or scenarios where I see that SEGA/Archie/Borrowed OCs are not acting like they should. I exit as fast as Sonic can run. And I'm just talking about doing to for relationships, but also friendships. Like Geez lets make everyone shipping buddies with Amy who is suddenly allowing you to hook up
Note to people who RP as SEGA/Archie canon characters, you are a roleplayer. You put yourself in that character's shoes. You are supposed to act like them and not make them act like you. There is a difference.
And since I can't remember much, heres the second to last for now! Your OC's Species. Because I hate it when you claim that you are a porcupine but you draw yourself as a hedgehog. There is a difference.
Like why does most OCs look like Amy? Or is a literal recolor of Amy? Why? And why do you draw your OC like a werehog if he's supposed to be a wolf? In real life they look pretty different!
Why is almost all Ocs a hedgehog! I bet you people wouldn't even know what a hedgehog is until you found out about Sonic! You would probably choose a cat or a bunny if you didn't know who Sonic is for crying out loud! But no, let's all make out OCs Sonic! It's not like they are not common anyway (sarcasm)
Now for my final entry, your OC in general. Gonna be fast and honest, most of them sounds ridiculous and Mary-Sue ish.
I mean have some imagination! What kind of OC has hydrokinesis, Pyrokinesis and Umbrakinesis all at the same time?
What kind of characters has The same hammer as Amy but is stronger and bigger and you can hold two at the same time?
What kind of character is faster than Sonic but is slightly not as strong? What kind of OC can fly and has chaos Energy and summon guns out of "Gun Space" (Parody of Hammer Space)?????
WHYYYYYYYYYYYY do you have to make them all fucking special and so overpowered. I HAVEN'T EVEN COVERED THE RIDICULOUS ONES YET! There are so many that I don't even wanna mention what they are like!
You aren't making your OCs cool or amazing, you are making them sound ridiculous and look like you made tham as a joke.
I already said, I am not your BFF or buddy right now and I am speaking as a viewer.
If I offended some of you , then sorry I guess. I am just being honest. I don't even want to make a Sonic OC because I don't want to and I don't wanna add to the billions of existing ones.
Also starting today sine I'm slightly bored and can't think of an idea to write here, I'm official open for OC criticism requests! If you made it ths fa you probably don't want me to a review of your OC buthere me out.
I'm like that one show thats for restaurants. I give a full honest critism about them and I will give you my personal ways to make them more tolerable. Besides I'm not that brutally honest!
It's just that if you want to though. Just give me full information (Picture, Personality, Friends, Relationships, Character etc.) on your OCs then I'll do it
