"So...I can't be partners with my friend?" you asked the teacher and he just shook his head. "I understand. Who will be my partner then?"
"Jihoon. Lee Jihoon," he told you and you turned around and found the new kid sitting all alone. "You can go take a seat next to him. I'll pass out the hand outs after I discuss the project."
"Ne," you bowed and turned around to walk to your new seat.
"Annyeong," he smiled and you took a seat next to him.
"Annyeong. I'm (Y/N)," you reached out your hand as you put your bag down.
"Jihoon. Lee Jihoon, nice to meet you," he smiled and shook your hand.
The teacher started the discussion, he also passed the hand outs and told the pairs to start brain storming for the project. Without even knowing the class ended and it was time to go home. Your friends called you so you can go with them to the mall, however you refused and decided to wait for Jihoon. He looked at you and gave you a puzzled face, you just smiled and took your things.
"Are you waiting for me?" he smiled and you just nodded. "Wae? Your friends wanted you to come with them."
"Well, I don't want to spend my time and money with clothes and anything that will attract my eyes at the mall. We can walk home together or even just hang out for a bit if that's not weird," you nervously giggled as the two of you exit the classroom.
"Ah...it's not weird at all. I don't have much friends here because I just moved so I actually find it nice that I met you," he smiled and you did too.
"It's always nice to have a new friend," you told him and he shyly smiled. "Should we go to my house or yours?"
"I think since that we have everything planned out for the project, should we get materials at the mall first and then we can go to your house? Our house isn't that organized from moving yet," he chuckled and you nodded.
"Arasseo, let's do that then," you smiled and the two of you waited at the bus stop.
When the bus arrived you hopped in and he followed, you took the seat next to the window and put your bag on your lap. He took a seat next to you and both of you were silent. You felt awkward so you decided to speak up, but he started talking as well. You giggled and he flashed a shy smile.
"You should go first," he told you and you nodded in agreement.
"I was gonna ask if you... uh..." he stumbled through words and you looked at him and blushed. He looked really cute and your heart fluttered at the sight.
"You're gonna ask what?" you giggled.
"If- if..." he gulped and avoided eye contact. "Ah! If you wanna get something to eat first before buying the stuff?" he nervously smiled and you just nodded to make him feel better.
"Sounds good. I just want to get some ice cream, since we're going to the mall we can get it there for sure," you smiled and he smiled and looked away.
When you arrived at the mall Jihoon let you off first and he followed behind you. The two of you walked into the mall, as soon as you found the ice cream stand you half-jogged-half-walked to it and ordered two vanilla ice creams. Jihoon followed you and just as he reached the stand you already pid for the ice creams and you had both of the orders on your hands.
"Yeogi," you smiled and handed it to him. He shyly took it and put a hand on the back of his neck.
"You should have let me pay for it," he muttered and you shook your head.
"Ani. It's my treat so don't worry about it."
"Gomawo. Well, we can't go inside the crafts store with ice creams. Should we go walk around for a bit?" he smiled and you nodded and started walking towards the escalator.
"So, do you have any nicknames?" you asked out of the blue and he secretly smiled with a slight nod. "What is it?"
"Woozi," he answered.
"Wah, that's a unique nickname. Kunde, where did it come from? Like, your name is Lee Jihoon. Where did Woozi come from?" you giggled as you got off the escalator.
"I like composing songs, and I do it with my friends back home. They started calling me Woozi because it means Find Ideas," he flashed a shy smile and you nodded.
"When we get to my house, can I hear one of your songs?"
"Mwo? Uh... arasseo, if that will make you happy," he smiled.
"Good."
After buying the materials for the project, the two of you headed to your house and you noticed that Jihoon was nervous as you get closer to your house. You took his hand as the two of you got off the bus. He looked at you with wide eyes and you just smiled at him, "You'll be fine."
"Is your family home?" he asked and as you walk to your house, the two of you let go of each others hands.
"Eo. Don't worry about it," you assured him and he nodded.
"Arasseo."
You walked up to your house and unlocked the door. You called for your mom and she walked our of the kitchen and found you with a guy.
"Hey sweetie, who did you bring with you?" your mom sweetly asked and smiled at Jihoon.
"This is my friend and Science partner Jihoon," you introduced him to your mom and he bowed and shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you Mrs. (Your surname)," he smiled and your mom smiled back at him.
"You too Jihoon. Do you guys want some snacks?" she asked.
"Ne eomma, just snacks arasseo?" you giggled. "We'll be in my room," you added and pulled Jihoon up stairs.
"Keep the door open!" your mom yelled and you playfully rolled your eyes.
"Ne!" you yelled back and opened the door. You walked in and Jihoon slowly followed you. "Wae? Just come in, I'm not keeping a monster in here."
"Really? I'm scared that I might be eaten," he joked and you playfully hit his arm as you turn the lights on.
"Yah, if I own a monster I would have already send it to my brother's room," you joked and sat down on your bed.
"You have a brother?"
"Eo. He's my dongsaeng but he acts like he's older than me," you laughed and coincidentally your brother walks in your room.
"Noona," he called out while staring at Jihoon. "Who's this?"
"Seokmin just go back to your room, we have a project to do," you snapped and crossed your arms.
"Noona, I'm gonna keep an eye on this guys eo?" he continued keeping his eyes on Jihoon.
"Aigoo. Eomma! Can you please get Seokmin out of my room?!" you yell and he just laughed, but when your mom yelled his name he immediately ran down stairs.
"Shall we start the project?" Jihoon asked taking out the materials.
"Keurae, we should start. Oh, and if you wanna have dinner here you can," you added while taking a seat on the floor with him.
"If your brother won't mind that," he chuckled.
"I got you," you smiled at him and he just nodded with a smile and started talking about the project. \

"Uh...my brain hurts," you whined and laid down on the floor.
"We can stop for now?"
"Thank God you said that!" you nearly yelled and he chuckled at your reaction. "Are you laughing at me right now?"
"Naega? Ani," he pursed his lips and looked away.
"You're gonna pay for laughing at me," you squinted your eyes while shaking your head.
"How?" he laughed.
You then remembered that you wanted him to sing one of his songs to you, you immediately stood up and walked to your closet to get your guitar that you never used.
"You're gonna have to sing for me."
"You play?" he asked sitting up.
"Ani. Appa got it for my birthday but I never even bothered touching it," you giggled. "Do you?-- Hey! Don't change the subject! You sing!"
"Eo. Let me see, I'll sing the song to you," he smiled and you excitedly handed him the guitar and took a seat in front of him. "Hmm... it's not tuned..." he let out light chuckles and looked at you. "Tsk. Tsk."
"Is it tuned now?" you asked as he turned the tuning machines different ways and strum each string. After a couple of minutes he nodded and you just knew that he is finished tuning the guitar. "Sing now, jebal."
He started strumming and sang.

You listened with your eyes closed and you just felt him stare at you the whole time he was singing the song. As he finish the song, you opened your eyes and your gazes locked at each other.
"Wow, that was very pretty," you smiled while blinking multiple times to break the awkward situation.
"Uh... gomawo," he shyly smiled and rested his arm on the guitar.
"Is there a certain person you wrote that for?"
"No, but I found her now," he smiled and you looked back at him. "Thanks for making feel like I wasn't a new kid. It meant a lot to me."
"It's nothing, you seemed like a nice and sweet guy so I approached you," you blushed and tried yoru best to hide it.
"Eo..." he stuttered. "Tomorrow shall we hang out again?"
"Why not? We can finish the project early if we do-"
"Not for the project, but... you know, just hang out?" he nervously smiled and you giggled and nodded.
"Ah... I see. Sure, that would be great."
"I'm gonna be honest with you eo? I want to, uh- get to know you more," he said as the two of you stood up. "Don't take it the wrong way but-"
"What wrong way?"
"Like, uh- well..." he stumble through words once again and you took his hand to assure him it was okay. "Arasseo. We just met so, I'm not gonna say that I already like you. But we can get there right?"
"Eo," you smiled and his frown turned into a big smile. "Let's do that Lee Jihoon. But-"
"But what?"
"You have to teach me how to play the guitar," you smiled and wiggled your eyebrows.
"Is that all you want? Man, I can go for days teaching you how to play the guitar," he chuckled.
"Jinjja?" you smirked.
"I am a good teacher (Y/N)," he teased. "But you have to pay, I don't work for free."
"Wow, how much?"
"Well I don't want money. Maybe every lesson I give you, you can tell me something about you and I will do the same thing."
"Fair enough. Now let's go get dinner," you smiled and pulled him downstairs.
"Right on time. Baegoppa!" he pouted and you laughed.
"I will sure feed you Baby Woozi!"
"Gomapta!" he smiled and hugged you as you reach the end of the stairs.
"Yah! Hands off my noona," Seokmin said with his arms crossed and leaning on the threshold of the kitchen.
"Go away and just eat Seokmin," you hit his head and he just chuckled.
"Arasseo. Kaja hyung, I have a lot to tell you about noona," Seokmin said pulling Jihoon to the kitchen and he looked back at you while silently laughing.
"Yah!" you yelled in between giggles and followed the guys in the kitchen.
"Was the project worth your time?" Seokmin asked Jihoon.
"Of course, it was," he answered looking straight at you.
"Is it a science project or a (Y/N) project?" Seokmin teased and you threw a bread at him. Good thing your parents left for dinner.
"More of both," Jihoon teased and you huffed and took you food with you to the living room.
"Waaah! Noona! I think he likes you! Not the Science project!" Seokmin yelled and Jihoon left him in the kitchen to eat alone.
"My brother's weird huh?" you laughed and he did too.
"Yeah. But what he said was true," he smiled and kissed your cheek. "I'll be in the kitchen," he awkwardly added left you frozen on spot.
