Hi Readers: What are you guys thinking of the new plans that Matt and Gabby have for today, with their best friends (for now)? I hope that you guys like them, because (as you know) I doubt that they will last long; and that's something that I already stated, as they plan on spending some time alone after lunch. But for now, they're just going to take it easy; as they relax with their family and friends.

Making his way into the living room shortly after filling up Andy's water bowl shortly after getting home this afternoon, Matt smiled as he saw him walk into the living room too; after which, he walked over to the bed that they have in here for him and laid down. After all, they did run him on the beach; and that means that he might be a little tired, which is why Matt decided to let him know that he can sleep for a bit. That way, he won't need to feel like he needs to stay awake; just so that he can watch for Matt to have some PTSD, as he doesn't believe that he will have some right now. "You can sleep Andy, I'm okay." Andy nodded as Matt said that, before cuddling up to his dog bed (which he was currently laying down in); and let's just say that it was very comfortable, which was why Andy could fall asleep so easily on it. At the same time, Gabby turned to look at her loving husband. "Did you really just say that?" Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, nodding. "He was looking me in the way that the boys look at me, when they aren't sure whether it's okay."
Hearing their dad refer to them, Matteo and Noah turned their heads to look at him; after which, they listened to him a bit. "It's okay Matteo and Noah, daddy's on his way to play." Gabby looked at Matt when he said that. "Seriously?" Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before bending down so that he can kiss her softly. "Oh, shut up, we both know that you like the idea of me getting in there with the boys; and trying to play with them." Gabby agreed with Matt as she said that, as that most definitely is something that she loves. Walking over to the play pen that they have the boys in, Matt smiled as he went to get down so that he could play with his boys; and Gabby had to admit, it was quite adorable. They all had to admit that actually, including Severide, which surprised everybody. "God, that is really adorable." Turning their heads as they heard Kelly say that; Matt, Gabby, and Stella were all surprised. "Kelly, you okay man?" Kelly snickered as he heard Matt ask him that, as he most definitely was okay. "Yeah, I'm just going soft like you."
Gabby laughed as she heard Kelly say that, as she knew that this was not Matt's soft side; actually, they've yet to see it. "Oh Kelly, if you think this is Matt's soft side; then you are so wrong." Turning his head as he heard his wife say that, Matt was confused. "Baby, is everything okay? Am I playing with the boys wrong?" Hearing Matt say that with concern in his voice, Gabby shook her head and just smiled at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "Hey, of course not baby; that's not what I mean at all." Matt just looked at Gabby as she told him that, clearly wanting some more information about what she meant by that statement then; and Gabby pretty much knew that right away, based solely on the way that he was looking at her right now. "Hey, take a breath baby and just look at me." Matt nodded. "You're playing with the boys fine, and you already know that; you have nothing to worry about, I'm just referring to how you're going to play with another one of our kids in the future." Matt laughed a bit and agreed with Gabby.
"Oh, I think we both know that I'm going to treat our future princess like she's the most important little girl in the entire world, which I most certainly will." Gabby just looked at her husband as he told her that, before pointing to herself. "And what am I? Chopped liver?" Matt laughed as he heard gabby say that, while deciding that he was not the most comfortable here in the play pen; rather, he would like to be with Gabby. And that's why he decided that he was going to set Noah down (he had him in his lap), which prompted Gabby to look at her loving husband. "What are you doing baby?" Matt smiled as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything. "I think we both know what I'm already doing, which is come where I should've been in the first place." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that, before watching as he got out of the play pen; at the same time, he turned to look at her mother in the kitchen. "But first, I want to thank your mom for making lunch for us." Turning her head from the kitchen, Camila smiled at her son-in-law.
"It's fine Matt, and it's actually my pleasure; because you were looking really comfortable, and very adorable with the boys down there. But I can only assume that it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the entire world, because you're standing now?" Matt sighed as Camila asked him that, as that was the real reason that he wasn't really enjoying it. "I think I would rather play with them if we were sitting on our bed, but that doesn't mean that I want to bring them upstairs with us; or at least not into our room, because we can put them into their nursery for their nap time." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, liking the idea of them putting their boys down for their nap. "Oh, I most definitely love that idea; because we can do that on our way back up to bed." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that's exactly what they plan on doing; even if Kelly and Stella weren't the biggest fan of them doing that. "Seriously? You don't want to spend some more time with us?" Gabby sighed as Stella asked her that. "I actually have something I want to watch."
Kelly then decided to make a joke. "Yeah, you want to watch your husband please you in bed." Gabby just glared at Kelly when he said that, before turning to look at Stella; giving her the (subtle) message that she needs to do something for her, and that would be hit her husband. And that was something that Stella most definitely can (and will) do for Gabby, as it was a very inappropriate comment. Slapping his chest, Stella looked at her husband. "Apologize." Kelly just looked at his wife as she said that, shocked that she wasn't on his side. "Hey, why aren't you on my side?" Stella just looked at Kelly when he said that, as that most definitely was something that she wasn't right now. "You just put down my best friend, and business partner." Kelly agreed with Stella when she said that, before turning to look at Gabby. "Sorry Gabby." Gabby agreed with Kelly when he said that, before taking a breath as she looked at Stella; she then decided to grab Matt's hand and turn her head to whisper in his ear. "I'm going to tell Stella about that, okay?" Matt agreed.
"Yeah, go ahead." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that, as that was something that she was going to have to do eventually. "Listen, I actually need to talk to you as your business partner for a second." Kelly then went to stop Gabby. "I already said..." Interrupting his best friend, Matt just went to give him the message that he needs to let Gabby say this. "Kelly, she needs to know this; because it's something big for the company, and it'll have a big effect on the future." Kelly then decided to withdraw his objection to Gabby speaking business with his wife, as he knew that this is something that he needs to do. "Okay, then go ahead. Thanks for stopping me man." Matt laughed as he said that, before agreeing with him. "Trust me, I already knew that this was going to come up; because I already know about it." Stella turned her head when she heard Matt say that, before looking at Gabby again. "And you're just telling me now?" Gabby sighed. "The company we were going to work with, they cancelled our contract." Stella was shocked.

To say that the new mother (and COO of ELLA Apparel) was shocked at the news that she just received from her best friend, Deputy CEO for ELLA Apparel Gabriela Casey; well, that would be an understatement. Rather, she was so confused and furious. I mean, they had a good deal; and she had to throw it away, especially when she was the one that negotiated it (while pregnant). "Okay, what the hell Gabby! I got us a really good deal with that company! The one that I negotiated while you were at the hospital." Gabby took a breath as she heard Stella say that, well aware that was the case; and she was appreciative of the fact that she made the deal, but she just doesn't want to take it in that direction. "Matt, what happened? I thought you already had that contract ready to sign today? And why didn't you go to the meeting today?" Stella was shocked as she heard Kelly say that. "Wait, the meeting was today?" Gabby sighed as she looked at her best friend. "I took an executive decision as the Deputy CEO for ELLA, and you'll understand it."
Stella just looked at her best friend. "Oh really? Because I really don't have any idea as to what..." Sensing that the situation was starting to get heated, Matt decided to just say what was going on; that way, he thought he could calm things down. "The manufacturer also works with the Kardashians." And let's just say that stopped Stella in her tracks, before turning to look at Gabby. "Yeah, that's the truth. In fact, they cancelled the contract; because they got a chance to work with the Kardashians instead." Stella was a bit confused as she heard Gabby tell her that. "Wait, so you weren't the one who cancelled the contract?" Gabby shook her head as she heard Stella ask her whether she was the one that cancelled the contract, as she wasn't; and that was something that she needed to make sure that she knew. "Stella, be honest with me; did you really want to work with a company who associates themselves with them?" Stella sighed. "It may mean that they make quality clothes." Matt just laughed as he heard Stella say that.
"Okay, put that aside. Stella, think about how that family got famous." Stella then thought about that, before agreeing with Gabby. "Oh god, I do not want to be associated with a company who works with those type of people." Matt laughed as she said that, as that was the exact way that he made Gabby feel better. "I said the same thing Stella, because that was how I calmed Gabby down; and the truth is, the moment I learned that they were going to work with the Kardashians...I was going to cancel the contract regardless." Turning her head, Gabby looked at Matt as he said that. "Without consulting me or Stella?" Matt nodded. "Yes, because I would be looking out for you; as I know that you don't want to work with a company associated with them, or Kanye West." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, hating that man more each and every day. That's when Stella brought it up. "God, he wants to go for President in 2024." Gabby just shuttered at the idea of a President Kanye West and First Lady Kim Kardashian West.
"God, that sounds even more horrible than our current situation; I mean, can we both agree that Trump is just the worst. I still hate how he literally marginalized my entire heritage, calling us rapists and criminals; simply because we come from Mexico, or the Dominican." Stella agreed with Gabby as she said that, well aware of what he's said in the past. "Oh, and don't even get me started on what he did to Obama; and then Hillary, calling her a criminal. God, I swear; she should've won." Kelly laughed as Gabby said that. "I agree with you Gabby. But I just want to point something out, that you chose to get married a few weeks after he got elected." Matt just looked at Kelly when he said that, as that most definitely isn't what he wants Gabby to hear right now; so much so, that he tried to get him to shut up. "I mean, he was literally president a month before you got married." And let's just say that was not something that Gabby wanted to hear. "Well, thanks for ruining my wedding day even more; not like my real wedding, and vow renewal weren't bad."
Getting up, Gabby then proceeded to walk away. "Matt, can you get lunch and bring it upstairs? I think I changed my mind as to where I want to eat right now." Matt sighed as he watched Gabby walk away, well aware that was the case. "Andy, go with Gabby." Andy then got up and went to do just that, while Matt got up and took a breath while looking at Kelly. "Seriously man?" Kelly just looked at Matt when he said that. "What?" Matt just sighed. "You really had to point out that Trump was elected a month before we got married, and on the same night we lost our first son; and then when we tried to do it right, Sylvie ruined it." Kelly got nervous as he heard his best friend say that, well aware that was the case; and god, that must be a bunch of bad memories for Gabby to have. "She still..." Matt agreed with Kelly as he said that, before taking a breath and then walking away so that he can go to the kitchen and get lunch from Camila; that way, he can also tell her that she needs to take care of the boys (and hopefully put them in their cribs).

Walking into the kitchen this afternoon, Matt sighed as he looked at his mother-in-law; whom was currently a bit concerned, as she saw Gabby walk away to go upstairs. "Is Gabby okay?" Matt sighed as she asked him whether Gabby was okay, because she was okay. "She was, until Kelly pointed something out." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of what he just said. "Reminded her that Trump got elected a month before you got married, and then lost Louie." Matt sighed as he heard Camila say that, before adding on. "And by extension, that our vow renewal was ruined by Sylvie. She associates all of those things now." Camila greed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, I can see why that's the case." Matt agreed with his mother-in-law before taking a breath. "It's actually why I think that me and Gabby are going to take lunch upstairs." Camila agreed with her son-in-law, clearly able to see that they needed this. "Of course. Do you want me to bring it upstairs?" Matt shook his head as he heard Camila ask him that.
"No, I'll wait and then I can go upstairs; Gabby's going to want some time alone with me after all." Camila greed with Matt. "Then how about you help me with the pasta? Then, I'll put the boys in their cribs after I give them a bottle." Matt smiled as he heard Camila say that. "You have no idea how much I appreciate that." Turning to look at her son-in-law, Camila smiled as she proceeded to turn around and make them some lunch; at the same time, Matt decided to walk over to the fridge to get some drinks for lunch. But first, he had to talk to his best friend (who just decided to join him in the kitchen). "Matt." Just looking at his best friend as he walked in, Matt sighed as he looked at Kelly. "Man, do you really want to talk right now? Because last time I checked, I'm kind mad at now." Kelly agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case. "I just want to say that I'm sorry, can you send that message to Gabby?" Matt agreed with Kelly as he said that. "Of course I can." Kelly smiled as he went to hug his best friend. "Thanks man."
Matt agreed with Kelly as he said that, before watching as he walked away; after which, Matt took a breath and went to get some drinks for him and Gabby. "What type of pasta are you making anyways Camila?" Camila smiled. "Shrimp fettucine. They'll be leftovers for supper if you want." Matt smiled as he heard Camila tell him that, as that most definitely is something that he wants. "That sounds perfect, but can you make sure to put our name on it? That way, we can make sure that we get it." That's when Matt heard Antonio come into the kitchen. "Don't worry, not making that mistake again." Turning to look at Antonio, Matt smiled as he looked at him. "Hey, look who it is; another one of our babysitters." Antonio just looked at him. "Really?" Matt sighed, before turning to look at Camila. "Camila, how about we just finish lunch; and then you can explain why we're going to be alone for a bit to Antonio?" Camila agreed with her son-in-law as he asked her to do that for him, which she will. "Of course Matt."
Smiling as he heard Camila say that, Matt went back to getting some drinks for him and Gabby (which also included him re-filling their water bottles); after which, he just waited for Camila to finish the pasta. Then, he would be able to go upstairs and be with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; and he could comfort her as well.
