Hi Readers: And welcome to another day of chapters. What did you guys think of the most recent curveball that I just threw into the story? I hope you guys liked it and are ready to read the aftermath of the curveball that I just put in the story. And luckily for you, you have no reason to wait any longer to read that, because it's time for me to write it for you. Here we go with Chapter Ninety-Four.
XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

6 PM - Halstead Hospital Suite, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center NICU
They were both so small, so tiny; and it was no something that the father was prepared to see, but he had to see it. And he was going to see it, every single day for the rest of his and Alex's stay at the hospital with their twins: Michael and Olivia. Yes, you just heard that right. Michael. As in, a son. And let's just say that was not something that they expected to have today, as Alex and Jay thought that they were going to be having twin girls; but now, that's most definitely not what they have. Rather, they have a son (whose name is Michael Jaymes) and a daughter named Olivia Marie (as planned). But god, they are both the most precious things in the entire world; and that's the exact reason why Jay is not going to complain about the fact that they had one of each, rather than two daughters. Heck, he wasn't going to complain for the simple fact that they're here; they're safe, and they have them in their life. And even better, Alex is still here with him; and she's all safe after having given birth to their children, which is the exact thing he wants.

Turning around to look at her as she laid down in her hospital bed, Jay took a breath as she was currently fast asleep; and that most definitely is something that she needs right now, as they just need to relax. They need to take it easy, and they just need to make sure that everything stays calm. And that's why Jay decided to go sit down, sit in the recliner that they have in the room. At least, that was the plan, until he heard Alex wake up. Putting her hand on her stomach shortly after waking up, Alex started to panic; and that was due to the fact that her stomach was (already) a bit smaller than it was before she gave birth. "No, no...please no..." Hearing his wife panic, Jay made his way over to her so that he could comfort her; after all, he already knew what she was worried about. And that was that they lost their children. "Hey, it's okay. Take a breath." Looking up at Jay when he told her that, Alex got worried. "What's happening Jay. Did we..." Sitting down on the edge of his wife's bed, Jay shook his head. "Hey, take a breath and look at me."

Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, feeling him grab her hand. "It's all okay. I promise Alex. Everything's okay. The kids are okay." Alex teared up as she heard her husband tell her that, unaware of where they are. "Then where are they?" Jay smiled at his beautiful wife, before moving his hand to the side of her face; after which, he stroked her cheek and smiled at her. "Alex, they're just over there." Jay said, pointing towards their children. "Michael and Olivia are just over there." Alex took a breath as she heard Jay tell her that, before agreeing with him; at the same time, she sighed due to the fact that she was worried. "Okay. They're okay." Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, glad that was something that she just said. "Yeah, they're okay. Our babies are okay." Alex took a breath as she heard Jay tell her that, before looking at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; after which, Jay proceeded to put his hand on her neck and stroked her cheek. "You can relax now Alex, because everything is okay with me." Alex agreed.

She then sighed as she was really worried, even thought she was no longer pregnant; moving his hand to Alex's neck (as he could tell that was the case), Jay bent down and leaned his forehead against hers while whispering to her. "It's okay, you're okay." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, glad that was the case. After which, she put her hand on his neck and just took a breath. "I'm okay." Jay smiled as he heard Alex say that. "Good. That's exactly what I wanted you to tell me." Alex smiled as she heard Jay tell her that, before looking at her (shirtless) husband. "Can you come join me in bed? I want to be held right now." Jay agreed with Alex as he told her that, smiling at her. "But first, we need to just say this. You okay with Michael Jaymes?" Alex laughed as she heard Jay ask her that, before looking at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I like the name, it's perfect." Jay smirked as he heard Alex tell him that, as he's glad that they picked a name together. "I still can't believe that we have a son." Alex laughed, smiling at him.

"I know, it's weird." Jay agreed with his beautiful wife as she told him that, before smiling as he proceeded to bend down and kiss her again; after which, he took things nice and slow with his beautiful wife. "God, I love you so much. And you really are my rock star, because you did such a great job giving birth." Alex smiled as she heard Jay tell her that. "I just wish that it didn't happen under..." Jay shook his head as he heard Alex start to go down the path she was going on, which he most definitely doesn't want to hear; he doesn't want to hear her talk about her father. "Hey, no. We aren't talking about him right now. We're not going to bring him up, and we're just going to concentrate on you." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, just taking a breath as they both held each other's hands. "How did it go in the delivery room? Is every..." Jay shook his head. "Hey, just relax and take a breath okay? Take it easy and just relax. We don't need to talk about this yet. You just woke up, and you need to relax." That's when Jay proceeded to push the call button.

That way, the doctor could come and check on Alex now that she was awake. "Let me guess, the doctor asked you to call her when I woke up?" Jay agreed with Alex as she asked him whether her doctor asked him to call her when she woke up, that way she can check on her. "Yes, she did ask me to do that; and I was going to do that anyways, because I want the doctor to check you out." Alex smiled as she heard Jay say that, before going to make a joke. "As long as it's not a male doctor right?" Jay snickered as he heard Alex say that, before looking at the woman he loves; after which, he put his hand on her neck once again and just went ahead to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Taking things nice and slow with Alex, Jay smirked due to the fact that she's the love of his life; and he's just so happy that they're even holding each other close right now. They just want to relax with each other, and they want to hold each other close. But they also both know that they need to do other things, and that would be make sure that they relax right now; after all, Alex is recovering after giving birth prematurely to their twins. "I still can't believe that we have twins, just like Matt and Gabby, as well as Kelly and Stella." Alex agreed with her loving husband as he said that, smiling at him.

"Where's my dad?" Jay shook his head when he heard Alex say that, as that was the last thing that he wanted to talk about. "Hey, don't even think about that right now Alex. Alex, take a breath and don't think about that. All you need to think about right now is recovering. I already dealt with him, and he's not here. I already told him that he's not welcomed here right now, and not to call us; I told him to go back to Chicago for now." Alex took a breath, before agreeing with him. "Can you at least do me a favor?" Jay sighed. "And what's that?" Alex sighed. "I at least want to tell him that I gave birth, and that...." Jay shook his head. "Alex, no. Not yet okay? You need to rest, and you need to recover. He's just going to bring stress on your body, and that's the last thing I want for you. Please, trust me that this is the best for you." Alex thought about what Jay told her, before agreeing with the man she loves more than anything; after all, he's always done everything he could to protect her. Heck, he's still protecting her right now.

"Alex, you need to trust me that this is for the best." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, before smiling as she put her hand on his cheek. After which, Jay smiled as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world (again), Jay smiled due to the fact that she was awake; and as far as he could tell, she's okay right now. "I need you to promise me that we just relax for now okay?" Jay agreed with Alex when she said that, because that most definitely is exactly what they're going to do with each other. "Hey, that's exactly what we're going to do Alex; I promise that we're just going to take it easy, and we're going to relax with each other." Alex smiled as she heard Jay tell her that, glad that was the case. And the truth is, she truly feels like she's the luckiest woman in the entire would; Jay treats her like his queen every day of the week, and she's just so happy over the fact that they're holding each other close. "Listen, do you want me to show you a picture of the twins?"

Alex smiled as Jay asked her that. "Can I not get up?" Jay shook his head. "Not yet. You need to take it easy, and you need to relax baby; like I just said, because you had a traumatic experience." Alex agreed with her loving husband as he told her that, before smiling as she put her hand on his cheek; after which, she leaned up and proceeded to kiss him softly. "Then can you do me a favor?" Jay nodded. "What is it?" Alex smiled. "Can you at least get me a picture of the twins? I want to see them." Jay agreed with his beautiful wife as she said that, before smiling as he leaned his forehead against hers; after which, he took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Let me go get you one right now." Alex agreed with Jay as he told her that, before watching as he got up; after which, Jay proceeded to grab her phone (which he'll use to take the picture). But first, he put it in front of Alex's face so that she could unlock her iPhone (she has Face ID activated). "Best way to unlock the phone." Jay smiled and agreed.

After which, he proceeded to make his way over to Michael and Olivia; that way, he can take a picture of them for Alex. Smiling at his beautiful children: Michael, and Olivia. Opening the camera app, Jay smiled as he proceeded to take a picture of Michael first. Making sure that it was a nice picture, Jay then proceeded to take a picture of Olivia. That way, Alex could have a picture of both of them. Turning around after which, Jay smiled as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; walking over to her, Jay then smiled as he proceeded to give Alex her phone back to her. "Here, this is a picture of the twins that I just took for you." Alex smiled as she heard Jay tell her that, as she knew that was the case. "I know baby, because I just saw it." Jay smiled at her. "Listen, I'm going to do something. I'm going to get Will, and he's going to come in here to be with you." Alex was confused when she heard Jay tell her that. "Why?" Jay sighed as he looked at her. "Uhm..." Alex then realized what he was trying to say right now.

"You don't want me to be alone right now?" Jay sighed as he walked up next to his and Alex's bed again (he's going to sleep with her), before smiling as he sat down on the edge of their bed; after which, he went to grab her hand and smiled at her. "Alex, listen. I know that this is unreasonable, but I just watched you pass out; which then led you to having to give birth to Michael and Olivia premature. As much as I want to say that I'm okay with you being alone..." Alex smiled as she listened to Jay explain why he doesn't want her to be alone, before nodding; after all, the reason why he doesn't want her to be alone makes complete sense. He just wants her to be with someone, because it'll be exactly what he needs. That's when he thought of something. "Here, give me a second." Alex agreed. Going to grab his phone, Jay proceeded to send a text to Will and Natalie; that way, they can stay here so that he can go talk to the rest of their friends. Opening his phone, Jay took a breath and went to send a text to his brother to get him to come here.

'Can you come to the room? Just you and Natalie? I don't want to leave Alex unattended.'
