" I like Louise " Heidi said and I turn to her.
" If it's a boy, and Laurence is picking the name " I said.
" Just stating out my opinion " she said.
I snicker and hold onto my horse rein, the other hand on my stomach.
" Derek's definitely going to freak out, and my brothers will attack Laurence, either physically or verbally " I said.
" I don't see how verbally is going to happen " Heidi said.
" Probably threats " I said.
" Oh, now I see it " she said.
We both chuckle and continue down the path.
" Alright, this is my stop " Heidi said.
" Thank your for everything, even though you didn't do anything to help with Syrene " I said.
" Be grateful I was there to fall in the trap for you, my rib still hurts " she said, I snicker again.
" Alright, see ya' " I said.
" Bye " she said then turn her horse away as I did the same.
Guiding my horse down this path into the forest where I can see the rooftop of our house. Going a little faster I arrive at the gates and see two guards there.
" Mrs. Zvahl, you've returned! " One said.
I smile then they open the gate as I enter, I went over to the maid who walks down the stairs.
" Miss!, Your back! " she said.
" Hi Jemma " I said and she helps me dismount the horse.
" Where's Laurence? " I asked.
" He's in your chambers " she said.
" How is he? " I asked.
" He's helped out your sister in law with the medicine shop business " she said.
" Really? " I asked, she nods.
" While your gone, he kept himself busy "
" But he's as healthy as ever, you got nothing to worry about, I took care of him as you asked " she said.
" Thank you Jemma " I said, she smiles and another man takes my horse rein.
I take off my cloak and pass it off to her.
" He misses you dearly " she said, I nodded.
" I'll see you later " I said.
I walk up the steps and enter the house, seeing the renovations has been completed and I walk up the steps to the next floor and head down the hallways. I fiddle with the pendant on my neck and approach the door to our room. Taking deep breaths before placing my hand on the handle, I knock first then push it down and open the door.
As I walk in I see Laurence standing there leaning by the desk with his back facing me. He stands there holding a quill and a book, I also notice Fluffball is running around the place, though he's bigger now and fatter.
" Jemma could you feed Fluffball then help me out with these, I'll be meeting up with Celeste to arrange the restocking of the supplies " He asked.
I shut the door behind me and exhale.
" You overfed Fluffball " I said.
I see his body tense and turn around immediately, I smile as I stand here.
" And I'd be glad to help you with those papers "
He didn't waste a second to drop everything in his hands then run over to me, I only get to take one step forward before he embrace me into a hug. He breaks down crying and I hold him but he has me tighter in his arms, didn't take him long either to burst in tears.
" Where the fuck have you been?! " He asked.
We pull apart and I chuckle while wiping the tears off his cheek.
" She's gone " I said.
He looks at me with only a smile.
" She won't be a problem anymore " I said.
" I don't care " he cries.
" Your gonna make me cry " I said as I feel some water swelling up in my eyes.
We both laugh before we kiss, seconds later I pull away.
" What took you so long? " He asked.
" I got sick "
I notice he tense up.
" Are you okay?, Are you still sick? " He holds my arms and look at me.
I shake my head.
" I'm better now, just a little worn out, had to recover first before I come home " I said.
He sniffle and hug him again.
" It's okay, but I think I'm going to get sick again in the next few more days " I said.
" Why? " He pulls away and look at me with worry.
I grab his hand place it on my stomach.
" Because I'm pregnant " I said.
He looks down and his breath hitched feeling the shape on my stomach.
" Are you really? " He asked, I nodded then kiss his cheek.
He snicker and has a big smile.
" Derek's going to kill me " he said, I chuckle.
" Let me deal with that " I said.
" I'm so happy your back " he said, I sigh and peck his lips.
" I'll go change, and we'll talk more later " I said.
" No need, I'll help you change " he said.
I shriek and and giggle when he sweep me off my feet.
~ Time Skip ~
" Is it just me or it's a lot more shiny " I said as Laurence put my bracelet on my wrist, he chuckles.
" I had it cleaned for you, I'd figure it hasn't been clean for years " he said.
" Your right, I wear it all the time, it was weird not wearing it for three months " I said.
He lift up my head by my chin and kiss me on the lips, I chuckle and close my eyes to kiss back before I pull away shortly.
" Let's go " I said and hold his hand as we walk down this pebble path.
We're at the conservatory garden right now, the same one we were at when Laurence and I danced together.
" Where are they?, I told them to meet us here " I said as I turn my head around this place.
" You invited someone?, I thought this is supposed to be our day together " Laurence said and I smirk.
" That'd be boring " I said as we walk with our fingers interlock.
" Who'd you invite? " He asked.
" I'll tell you when we see them " I said and giggle swinging our hands back and forth.
" Tell me " he said and I turn my head to him.
" Patience " I said.
" I still don't agree for you to be out here walking, you should be at home at bed rest " he said, I snicker.
" You worry too much " I said.
" I'm serious " he stops walking and pulled me back a little.
I stand here and sigh with our hands still together, I turn around to him and he looks at me with a stern expression, I grab his other hand and hold it together with his other hand.
" If you worry a lot, you'll make yourself sick and when your sick, I'll get sick from taking care of you, so please, relax, I know how to take care of myself " I said.
He swallows a lump in his throat and nod hesitantly, I let go of his hand and hold his face, locking each others eyes and use my thumb to make a smile on his lips.
" We're together now and safe, I am here and you are going to be a father, this is a celebration of my pregnancy, you got nothing to worry about anymore, I can promise you that if I feel anything odd or sick, I will tell you " I said.
He takes a deep breath and exhale.
" Okay, I'm sorry " he said, I smile and he smiles back at me.
" You don't need to apologize " I said.
" Just tell me if you have a slight headache or anything- " I squish his cheeks together making his lips plump and I furrow my eyebrows.
" What did I just say? " I asked.
He chuckles then pry my hands off his cheeks.
" Okay " he said then kiss my lips.
" I love you " I said.
" I love you too " he said.
I smile and we interlock our fingers again before continuing to walk down this path, we come across a five pathway and in the middle is a gazebo which is where we see four heads sitting there and one husky dog.
" So this is where you were! " I said as they turn here.
" Woof!, Woof! " The husky barks and run towards me.
I bend down and giggle as he goes up licking my face.
" Hello Alexander!, I'm so glad to see you too! " I said and he calms down as I stand straight.
" Our parents? " Laurence asked, I look at him and nod with a hum.
" Jemma told me your father is awake so, why not have lunch with them, as husband and wife " I said and pull his arm a little for him to take a step forward.
Alexander follow us as we step up the gazebo, mom didn't even wait for me to sit down that she got up from her seat and rush over to me.
" Oh!, We haven't heard from you for months! " She hugs me and I snicker.
" I'm okay mom " I said as I hug her back.
" I missed you so much " she said.
" I missed you too " I said.
We pull away and she sighs holding my face and I notice her face is a little pale and obviously being hidden by some make up, I suppose she's trying to hide it from me.
" You seem to gain a little weight, what did you do to my daughter?! " Mom snaps her head to Laurence who stands there with a nervous laugh.
" Mom, relax " I hold her hand and she looks at me with a smile.
" Okay, have a seat " she said.
I sit down on the chair and Laurence sit beside me and next to his mom, while mom is next to me, our father's are beside their wife.
" This is a lovely noon, I believe we haven't officially met " the man with dark brown hair and light blue eyes said.
" I'm Hayden " he said, I smile and nod before I notice the wheelchair beside him.
" I know, Mr. Zvahl, it's nice to finally meet you in person " I said, he smiles and he picks up his teacup which I notice that his hand is slightly tremoring.
" You didn't tell me he's awake " Laurence turns to his mother.
" I was going to until Y/n sent a letter this morning of the invitation, thought to surprise you " she wink then sip her tea.
" Please, call me Hayden or father, you have the family name now " Hayden said, I smile and nodded.
" And I'm Amelia or mom " Mrs. Zvahl sarcastically said, I chuckle.
" Okay " I said.
I look over to Derek who's looking over at me with concern and I gave him a reassuring nod as he nods back sitting there.
" So Y/n, why'd you invite us here? " mom asked.
" First things first, I apologize for being absent for the last few months and that is because I was busy with dealing some problems that needs to be fixed and you now don't have to worry about " I said.
I see a maiden pour Laurence and I some tea.
" You've dealt with it? " Derek asked, I nodded.
" Dealt what? " Mom turns to Derek and he shakes his head.
" It's nothing serious don't worry " he said and mom just shrugs it off.
" So now that's out of the way, I also invited us here because I wanted to tell all of you that. . . " I hold Laurence's hand and take a deep breathe.
" I'm pregnant "
