Hi Readers: I want to apologize for all the changes that I have done recently to the story. However, I want to explain what's going on recently. The bottom line is that I didn't like where the story was going, and that meant that I need to backtrack before I could go ahead and continue with the story. But still, I am going to do a skip in between the previous chapter, as well as this chapter; but to just when? Well, it's time for you to find out. Here we go with Chapter Sixty-Six.

July 26th, 2019 – She hasn't been feeling the best for a few days now. She's been stuck in bed, and just feeling disgusting. But boy has Matt truly been incredible. He's been taking her extremely well, and he's balanced everything so well. Between the boys, work, and her being sick; he's had so much to deal with. But now, she was starting to feel a bit better; however, Gabby just had a feeling that she needed to do something. And just what might that be? Well, that would be take a pregnancy test; yes, you heard that right. Gabby decided to take a pregnancy test. And that's exactly what she did today, on the morning of her birthday. She needed to know whether she was going to be stuck in bed on her birthday, or whether she was going to be able to go out; because that was something that she wanted. She wanted to go out, and she wanted to spend time with their friends. And she just needed to know the answers to these questions. And that's exactly what she's waiting to find out right now, as she took her morning shower. But little did she know that she wasn't going to be taking her shower alone. Rather, her loving husband decided to join her in the shower; that way, he can wash her.
But little did Matt know, that he was going to see something on the counter after he walked in with a towel around his waist; something that he hadn't planned on seeing for a while, the pregnancy test that Gabby just took. (Not that he's even noticed it yet). And that was due to the fact that he's currently in the midst of admiring his gorgeous wife in the shower, which is definitely a sight to be seen. Just walking in, Matt smirked as he went ahead and carried their boys' baby monitor towards the counter so that he can continue to listen to them. Setting it down on the counter (along with a fresh pair of boxers), Matt smiled as he was about to take off his towel. However, that was the last thing he wanted to do right now because he finally saw it; the pregnancy test that his wife just took. The first pregnancy test which he would be here for. Just taking a breath, Matt was absolutely shocked; he thought it was too soon, but that is definitely not something that he's worried about right now. First, he needs to talk to Gabby before she gets out.
Out of the shower where he wants to wash and hold her close. Taking a breath, Matt tried to put the pregnancy test to the back of his mind while turning around to face his wife; but he knew that was not going to be something that he was going to be able to do, even though it's his wife's birthday. The first one that they get to celebrate with each other in a couple years, as well as the first one that Gabby gets to celebrate as a mother; but it also may be the last one that she gets to celebrate as a mother of two. Next year, she might be celebrating as a mother of three if that test is positive. And that's something that's incredible, and quite worrying. Yes, worrying. While Matt is already starting to get excited over the fact that she may be pregnant, Matt also knew that it was risky; and that was due to the fact that they were doing it so close together. But at the end of the day, he's going to be happy if it happens; because it's exactly what the couple said they wanted. He already promised her that he'd be happy if they got pregnancy, which he most certainly will.
And now, he was going to remind his wife of that; that he's going to be happy no matter the result of the test, for the simple fact that he has her and the boys in his life. But now, it's time to get in the shower with the woman he loves more than anything. Walking up to the shower (again), Matt proceeded to take it off until he saw Andy at the door; Andy being his new (golden retriever) service dog for PTSD and boy has he made a world of a difference at night. He's kept him so calm, and it's just perfect. Putting his hand up, Matt made sure that Andy stayed out of the washroom, and in their primary suite; and that was exactly what Andy did for him this morning, as he walked away to his bed located at the end of their bed. And now, that gave him the opportunity to join the woman he loves in the shower; then, he can talk to Gabby about what's going on in her head, and what she's thinking about this possibility. Including the possibility that they're going to find out on her birthday, which is something that he's (of course) going to say to her first right now.
Opening the door to the shower, Matt smirked as he looked at his gorgeous wife before stepping into the shower behind his girl; who was none the wiser that he was even in the shower with her, as she was concentrating on the music that she was listening to this morning. But that was not going to be the case for long, as Matt wanted to tell his wife that he was here with her; closing the door behind him, Matt smirked as he walked over to her phone and then went to shut off her music (which confused Gabby). "Shit, I thought I read that my phone was waterproof." Smirking as he heard Gabby say that, Matt walked up right behind her before moving her hair behind her shoulder; after which, he wrapped his arms around her and tugged her body back against his chest. He then went ahead and whispered in Gabby's ear, as a way to tease her. "It is. But it's not husband wants to give wife some sexy attention proof." Hearing Matt speak to her, Gabby laughed due to the fact that she loved the sound of that; after which, she turned around in his arms.
Stepping close to Matt, Gabby smiled as she wrapped her arms around his back and looked up into his eyes. "Hey you." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before wrapping his arms around her and bending down to kiss her softly. "Happy birthday baby." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, well aware that it's her birthday today. "My first one as a mom." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that, before bending down so that he can kiss her again. "Yeah, and maybe your last one as a mom of two." Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt say that. "You saw it?" Matt nodded as he heard his wife ask him whether he saw the pregnancy test. He then put his hands on her arms and just held her close to his chest, after which he kissed her forehead softly. "Yeah, I saw the test." Gabby then looked up at Matt, before sighing as she wrapped her arms around his neck and just held her close. After which, Matt bent down so that he could kiss her softly. "You okay?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her whether she was okay, which she was.
"Yeah, I am. At least, I think I am. I have a lot on my mind right now..." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before taking a breath. "Sorry this is what we're talking about right now, I just..." Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, well aware of the fact that he didn't want to talk about the pregnancy test right now; especially not when it's her birthday, which is what he would much rather be concentrating on right now. He wants to concentrate on her, and he wants to make sure that she has a great day. Putting his hand on the side of Gabby's head, Matt smiled as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "Listen, at the end of the day; we're going to have a great day okay, because I'm here with you today. I'm here with you on your birthday, which I haven't been for a while." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that definitely was the truth. They haven't been together on her birthday for a while. "Oh, now if that isn't the truth; we haven't been together on my birthday for two years." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that.
After which, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby and just smiled at her. "You know what, at least we can have this positive outlook. You already look like you're feeling a lot better than you were yesterday, and that's everything that I want; because I want you to have a great day today, a day where we can celebrate your birthday with our friends and family." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before wrapping her arms around him; after which, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby and just smiled as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I want to be out in the living room today, and I promise. I don't want you to keep me in here." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, well aware that's the case. "Oh, believe me; I am well aware of the fact that you want to be with out friends today. And the truth is, I love that idea." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before looking at him. "Just curious, you did clean your schedule right?" Matt smiled. "I already blocked it off, I promise baby." Gabby smiled.
"Then let's agree to this. Today, we have fun with each other." Matt smiled. "Oh believe me, we're already going to have a lot of fun; especially tonight when I have you in my arms, because I already planned on doing something for you later." Gabby smirked as she heard Matt say that, well aware that was the case. And the truth was, she was more than happy about the fact that he plans on making her feel really special right now. He wants to make sure that she feels special all day, which is something that Gabby already does. Getting close to her loving husband, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to wrap her arms around him nice and tight. After which, Matt proceeded to put his hands on Gabby's arms as they held each other close. Kissing the top of Gabby's head, Matt smiled as he rubbed her arms; after which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. "I promise you, I'm here with you no matter what the outcome okay? Whether you're pregnant or not, I'm here for you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at him.
After which, Gabby just smiled at the man she loves more than anything; after which, she wrapped her arms around Matt's back and just held him close to her. Wrapping his arms around Gabby nice and tight, Matt smirked due to the fact that they're both extremely happy right now. Taking slow with his girl, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly how he wants to be starting his day; especially after he had such a stressful week. "God, I am so glad I took today off. Too much stress this week." Gabby agreed. "No work talk today mister." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, before moving his hand to her neck; after which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with her, Matt just smirked. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, until he heard an alarm from her phone. Taking a breath, Gabby looked at her husband as she heard the alarm go off; the alarm that was going to tell her whether she was pregnant again, which is something that she likes the sound of right now.
"Last chance. You going to be happy about this, or mad?" Matt looked at his wife when she said that, shocked that she would ever think that he would be mad about them having a baby. "Hey, don't you dare think that I'm going to be mad about this. Listen, how about you get out and go sit in bed. It's still early. I'll bring the test out with me, and we can talk about it when we're ready; but first, we need to talk about that statement that you just said to me." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, before smiling as she leaned in and then proceeded to kiss her husband softly. Taking things slow with the man she loves, Gabby smirked due to the fact that they are both really happy with each other. "I love you." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, before kissing her forehead softly; after which, she proceeded to get out of the shower so that she can go to bed. After which, Matt just started to wash up for a bit longer ahead of them finding out their new reality. That reality? Then being pregnant with another child.

He just finished up in the shower this morning, clad in nothing but his boxers as he got ready to join his beautiful wife in their bed; that way, they can just hold each other close on her birthday as they spoke to each other about the topic that they really need to talk about. The topic Whether Gabby is pregnant again, and what that means for them. But there was one thing that Matt was going to tell his wife, was that he's here for her no matter what; and he just hopes that Gabby already knows that, because that's always been the case.
Walking up to the counter, Matt went to grab his phone before looking at the test. Seeing that it wasn't facing up (for him to be able to see the result), he really thought about looking. He wanted to know what the result was, but he's nervous; because he doesn't know whether he should even look at the result before he's with Gabby. And that was something that Gabby must've known he was thinking of. "Matt, let's look at it together in bed, okay baby?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that.
He then proceeded to pick the pregnancy test up, making sure that it was still facing down so that he didn't have to look at it. After which, he went ahead and carried it out of the washroom along with his phone. Walking out this morning, Matt smiled as he proceeded to check the time. "Wow, I didn't even realize what time it is. It's only 8:30." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, as that was the reason why Gabby didn't want him to check the test yet. "Yeah, that's why I asked you not to look at the test yet. I just want you to concentrate on making your way over to me, so that you can relax with me before the boys wake up." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling as he made his way over to their bed; after which, he walked over to his side of the bed so that he can set his phone down on his charger. "Want me to leave it there today?" Gabby bit her lip. "Can you? I'd really appreciate it if...." Matt put his hand up when he heard Gabby start saying that, well aware of what she was trying to say right now.
She's trying to tell him that she doesn't want him to work today, and she wants him to concentrate on her and their boys today; and that's definitely something that he plans on doing today, because he wants to spend time with his family. Moving to set his phone down on his charger right now, Matt smirked as he went ahead and proceeded to set the pregnancy test (facing) down on his side table too. "I'm going to leave the pregnancy test there too." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, as she loved that idea. "I love that idea." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before proceeding to get into bed with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world; after which, he proceeded to sit up and just looked at the woman he loves more than anything. Sitting up, Matt smirked as he looked at Gabby. "How about you come here and sit in my lap? We can cuddle up to each other and just hold each other close." Gabby agreed with Matt as he asked her that, ready to do just that this morning; after all, it is her birthday.
Crawling over to Matt this morning, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she's really happy over the fact that it means that they're going to be spending the day together. Gabby then went ahead and made sure that they're going to have fun with each other today. She then proceeded to get close to the man she loves more than anything, who just leaned back against his pillow right now. Sitting down next to her dreamy husband, Gabby smiled as she moved to sit in between his legs; after which, she leaned against his chest and then wrapped her arms around his toned chest. Matt then wrapped his arm around her back and smiled due to the fact that this is everything that he wants to do with the woman he loves more than anything right now. He wants to be close to the woman he loves, and he wants to make sure that they're together all day. And now that Gabby was in her loving husband's arms, she smiled as she laid down in his arms and cuddled up to him; then, Matt went to grab the covers and tugged them up on top of the both of them.
Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed the top of Gabby's head and just smirked due to the fact that this is everything that Matt wants right now; he wants to hold Gabby close to him on her birthday. Looking down at his beautiful wife as they cuddled up to each other, Matt smiled as he proceeded to put his hand on her neck. After which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, his beautiful wife Gabriela Casey. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling at him as she laid her head down on his chest. "I love you too Matt." Tugging the covers up on top of the both of them, Gabby just smiled as she was happy right now. At the same time, Matt slipped down in bed once again; after which, he wrapped his arm around her back and just held her close to him. And let's just say that he's very happy right now, even though he shouldn't be the one who's the happiest right now. That should be Gabby, the woman of his dreams.
"Matt, can I ask you a question?" Looking down at Gabby, Matt agreed with her and smiled. "Hey, of course you can Gabby; you know that you can always ask me questions." Taking a breath, Gabby leaned up and then proceeded to kiss the man of her dreams softly. Taking things nice and slow with Matt, Gabby smiled. "What if I'm pregnant again? Are you sure that you're going to be okay with it?" Matt just looked at his wife when she asked him that, shocked that she would even ask him whether he'd be okay with him. "Hey, I want you to read my lips right now." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "Gabby, I love you, and I already love Matteo and Noah; if we're blessed with another baby, then I am going to be over the moon. That's just a fact." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she put her hand on his face. After which, she took things nice and slow with the man she loves like crazy. "I love you Matt, and I am so glad that we're on the same page." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before rubbing her back.
He then went ahead and stroked her back as they both held each other close. "God, I am just so happy over the fact that we're holding each other close right now." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, before laying her head down on his chest some more. "Yeah, especially since it's what I need right now. I need to just cuddle up to you as you give me comfort." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "Hey, of course Gabby. I know that you need me to hold you right now, and that's exactly what I plan on doing right now. I will always holding you in my arms if you need me to." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling due to the fact that they're both just comfortable right now. After which, Matt took a breath and just turned her head so that he can kiss her forehead softly. After which, he looked at the woman he loves more than anything. Looking down into her eyes, Matt just smiled as he bent down so that he could kiss her softly. Taking things slow with Gabby, Matt just smirked as his gorgeous wife.
"Gabby, I love you more than anything, and I promise that I'm going to be here for you no matter what the test says; whether it's positive, or whether it's negative. Then I'm going to be happy. And that's because I love you." Gabby agreed with her husband as he told her that, before putting her hand on his chest. After which, Matt wrapped his arm around her back nice and tight; he then went ahead and proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. Just stroking her back, Matt smiled as he was really happy with his gorgeous wife.
Gabby's POV:
As I felt Matt leave a soft kiss on my forehead, I couldn't help but smile as it's exactly what I want to feel right now. I just want to have the man I love to help me close, and I want to make sure that this is everything that I will always want to feel. I want to make sure that we cuddle up to each other, and we hold each other close each and every day. Running his hand down my back, Matt proceeded to whisper to me. "Gabby, do you want me to check the test?" I looked up at Matt when he said that. "Sorry, did the alarm just go off?" Matt nodded as I asked him whether the alarm just went off. "Yes, the alarm just went off; and if you want me to check it for you, I can." I took a breath, before agreeing with Matt as he asked me whether I wanted him to check the test; which I most definitely do. "Can you check the test? I need to know." Matt agreed with me as I said that, before proceeding to grab the test that was going to tell us whether I was pregnant or now. He then brought it close to me, and I then went to read it.
"Pregnant."
