He ended up waking up early again this morning, but this time he knew that he wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep; so, Matt decided that he wasn't just going to stay in bed again. Rather, he decided that he was going to be productive and start the boys' morning routine; even though it was only 7:30 in the morning. And that was exactly what he was in the midst of doing, as he rocked Matteo in his arms while he stood in the kitchen; at the same time, Matt was in the midst of making Matteo a bottle a milk, along with a cup of coffee for himself. And let's just say that it was going to be something he will enjoy, especially after a hard night. Just rubbing Matteo's back as he held him in the baby carrier, Matt smiled as he kissed his forehead and made sure that he stayed quiet as he hummed for him. And let's just say that Matteo was definitely enjoying that, along with the sound of his papa's heartbeat in his ear. And that was what Matt believed was keeping Matteo calm right now, which was something that he wanted Matteo to be. Ever since this circus all started, Matt was so worried about how this would affect the boys, and he planned to do whatever he could to help them. And that most certainly was exactly what he was in the midst of doing, while holding them in his arms and letting them listen to his heartbeat; not that he can really complain about the fact that his son is all cuddled up to him, because he loves the feeling of it.

Running his hand up and down Matteo's back, Matt smiled as he kissed his forehead again before hearing both his coffee and the bottle maker ding. Looking at Matteo, Matt smiled as he spoke to him. "Hey buddy, you ready to have some milk? Yeah, I bet you are." Kissing Matteo's forehead this morning, Matt smiled due to the fact that this was everything that Matt wants right now. He is so happy over the fact that he is currently holding Matteo in his arms, as he gives him the comfort that he needs right now; especially when he's in this confusing time. He has been through so much since he was born, Matt can't help but wonder what type of affect this is having on the boys. And that is most definitely something that Matt plans on talking to Gabby (and other people about). But that would happen later, because Gabby was currently asleep (unlike him and Matteo); and that was why he was here, getting him a bottle ready, along with a coffee ready for himself. Grabbing Matteo's bottle, Matt smiled as he set it down before grabbing the coffee from the coffee maker; pouring it into a mug (which he got out when he first started brewing the coffee), Matt smiled due to the fact that he was ready to have a cup of coffee. But he wasn't the only one who was ready to have some coffee, as Jay felt the same way today.

Coming out with Max, Jay smiled when he smelt some coffee. "Is that some coffee?" Turning his head, Matt was a bit shocked when he saw Jay there. "Someone's up early." Jay sighed when Matt mentioned that he was up early, because there most certainly was a reason why he was awake early. "Yeah." Just looking at his friend and executive, Matt took a breath as he could see the same types of feelings that he was feeling at the moment; the feelings that came with him having PTSD, and/or a bad dream. "Okay, I am just going to go out on a limb here; and I am going to guess that you had PTSD?" Jay sighed as he made his way over to the place where he has Max's bowls set up in the house, before agreeing with the CEO. "By the way, you okay with me having Max's bowls out like this?" Matt agreed with Jay when he asked him that, before smiling at him. "Jay, of course I am. I told you that when we first moved here, that I want you to feel at home as much as you can." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, before taking a breath as he stood up and looked at his boss. After which, he looked at the man who was currently holding Matteo on his chest. "Someone looks comfortable on your chest." Matt sighed as he looked down at Matteo and then kissed the top of his beautiful baby boy's head.

"I'm glad that's how he feels right now, because It's what I would much rather he feels right now rather than anything else." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, clearly seeing that he was dealing with some problems. "You okay Matt?" Matt sighed as he looked at the other man with PTSD. "Uhm..." Jay then walked in, looking at Matt before going to grab a coffee mug. "Do you need to talk about something?" Matt took a breath as he heard Jay ask him that, before nodding. "Yeah, I think I do." Jay then proceeded to look at his boss (and friend). "Listen, how about this? How about you bring Matteo and your coffee outside? Then, I will come join you out there and we can talk." Matt took a breath when he said that, agreeing with his friend when he said that he can talk to him. "Listen, no work talk for now; I need to just figure this all out right now." Jay agreed with his friend when he said that. "By the way, sorry about Max earlier this morning." Matt shook his head, before smiling as he proceeded to walk away so that he can go sit outside with Matteo this morning; after which, Jay was going to join him so that the two gentlemen who have a PTSD diagnosis can talk to each other right now.

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Walking outside with Max this morning shortly after grabbing his own cup of coffee, Jay smiled as he came out to see Matt watching some news while sitting on the couch. More specifically, he was watching news that was not going to be helpful to his PTSD; and that was why Jay was going to do something which was going to help him. Making his way over to sitting area where they were going to be sitting with each other, Jay walked up to the TV and went ahead to shut it off; and let's just say that didn't make Matt the happiest of men. "HEY!" Turning to look at Matt, Jay sighed before also turning his head to look at Max. "Max, go to the washroom." Max then barked, before running away to the grass; at the same time, Jay walked over to the couch so that he can sit with Matt. "Believe me when I say this, the last thing you need to be doing right now is watching business news; news that may show what happened in Hawaii." Matt sighed as he heard Jay say that, well aware that may well likely be the case. Sitting down on the couch with Matt, Jay smiled as he looked at Matteo as he cuddled up to his daddy. "I can see that your little guy there is enjoying this time that he's getting to spend with you today." Looking down at his young son, Matt smiled due to the fact that Matteo was very comfortable on his chest. "Yeah, he most certainly is very comfortable there. I think it's due to the fact that he's still scared. The doctors in Hawaii, his doctors that took care of him in the NICU said that he would be much more clingy since he was born so premature." Jay agreed with him.

"Yeah, that makes sense." Jay then took a breath, before going to take a sip of his coffee; at the same time, Matt turned to look at his friend. "Jay, don't go there; don't you dare think that this is going to happen to you, because that is not going to happen to you. May I remind you that you have a sister-in-law who is watching your wife like a hawk, and she's making sure that your wife is more than okay each and every day." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling as he watched Matt set his coffee down. After which, he went to grab the bottle that he made for Matteo; at least, he was until he remembered that he had to do something else first. Well, two things. Looking around, Matt then looked at Jay. "Can you make sure that Max doesn't come jump on me? I need to take Matteo off my chest, and I'm not going to be looking around to see a jumping dog get close to me." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at his friend. "Of course, go ahead Matt." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that, before taking Matteo out of the carrier.

He then went ahead and proceeded to lay Matteo down on the couch. "There you go baby boy. How about you just stay there and relax for daddy for a minute? Then, you can cuddle up to him again and get a feeding?" Laying back, Matteo just relaxed on the couch; at the same time, Matt went ahead and proceeded to put the baby carrier down. After which, he picked Matteo up in his arm again so that he can hold him close. Curling his arm around him, Matt smiled as he held him close before going to grab his coffee; going to take a quick sip of his coffee, Matt smiled as he proceeded to put his feet up on the couch and grabbed the bottle of milk. Bringing it close to Matteo, he saw his eyes open wife (which was something that he always did when he saw his food). "Yeah, you want some of mommy's milk, don't you buddy?" Matt then smiled as he proceeded to put the bottle in his mouth, getting him to start feeding right away; and let's just say that's most certainly something that he was happy about, as that was not something that he can always get.

"Oh, you're being a good boy for today? Aren't you my little man. Yeah, you want to make this nice and easy for daddy instead of hard for him. Well, daddy really appreciates that my little man." Smiling as he heard Matt speak to Matteo like that, Jay couldn't help but feel so happy for his friend; at least, he thinks that they're friends. Their relationship status is always a blur, so he wants to make sure that they are friends. "Matt, can I ask you a question?" Turning his head as Matteo fed from his bottle, Matt agreed with Jay (before giving him a condition). "Depends, is it business related? Because we aren't doing business until after 9 AM." Jay looked at his boss when he said that. "Wait, we're doing business today?" Matt laughed when Jay asked him that. "No, not this week. On Monday we start. Well, maybe a bit. I have to send an e-mail to Tesla and see if we can have a meeting, I want to do that collaboration remember?" Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling at him. "I think that idea you have is still a really good idea."

Matt agreed with Jay when he said that, before smiling as he turned his head and looked at Matteo again. "Yeah, did you just hear that Matteo? Daddy's a smart guy. Someone things that daddy's smart." Jay laughed when he heard Matt say that, before going to add something on. "Matteo, don't take that on face value; remember that your uncle Jay has no choice but to say that your daddy's smart, as he's my boss." Matt then turned to look at Jay, a bit confused when he called himself 'uncle Jay' in relation to his son. "Who told you that you get the title of 'Uncle Jay' when it comes to my son?" Jay laughed as he looked at Matteo. "I think that would be the guy who's helping you with your PTSD." Matt sighed when he heard Jay bring up PTSD, before remembering that he wasn't the only one who had PTSD last night; and that was why he decided to bring it up. "Do you want to start? Or do you want me to start?" Jay was confused when he heard Matt ask him that question, unsure as to what he was talking about right now. "Excuse me?"

Matt sighed when Jay asked him that, before proceeding to clarify what he means. "Do you want to talk about the PTSD that you had last night first? Or would you rather we talk about my PTSD first?" Jay sighed when Matt asked him that. "I actually don't want to talk about it, because it might make you feel bad; because it's..." Matt sighed as he looked his employee, before starting to realize what he was talking about. "Listen, how about you let me finish feeding Matteo? Then we can talk about this." Jay agreed with him, nodding as he watched Matt watch Matteo. "Do you mind if I hold him after? I need to practice holding a baby after all." Matt smirked when he heard Jay ask him that. "Sure thing Jay." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, glad that he was going to get a chance to practice.

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Looking down at his boss' son as he holds him on his chest, Jay smiled as he rubbed his back and just held him close. "Hey Matteo, you cozy there?" Matt then smiled as he made sure that Jay was holding him right. "So, if you get to hold him, then I am going to use Max to relax." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling as he agreed with him; after which, he proceeded to call Max. "MAX!" Turning to look at his human handler, Max came to walk over to him. "Go see Matt boy. Matt." Sitting down on the couch once again, Matt smiled as he watched as Max came onto the couch with him. He then watched as Max crawled over to him and then laid his head down in his lap. Chuckling a bit, Matt put his hand on his head and scratched it. Just looking down at him, Matt smiled as he scratched his head. "God, now he looks extremely comfortable here in my lap." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that. "Oh yes he does. Just make sure that he doesn't get too comfortable there and remember that he belongs to me." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that he belongs to you Jay." Jay agreed with Matt, smiling.

At the same time, he turned to look at Matteo as he just relaxed there. "So, you want to start this conversation?" Taking a breath, Matt looked at his friend. "It's just all of this. This situation is just really hard on me." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, well aware that was the case; he can only imagine how hard this is on him, and he hates the fact that he has to deal with this right now. "Matt, I can definitely see that's the case. And I want to let you know that I am in no place to judge, especially with who my father-in-law is." Matt laughed when he heard Jay say that, well aware of that fact. "Oh, you bet you have no way to judge me." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that. "I hate the fact that I just exposed my sons to this. I can't help but wonder if I did this too early. Maybe I should've waited to start the business when they were older, or just not even start one yet and just save my money." Jay sighed when he heard Matt say that, as he hates the fact that he even wants to think this way; even though it is also a bit selfish as he has an interest in it.

"Okay, full disclosure; I am just going to say this to start. I am biased here remember?" Matt laughed as he heard Jay say that, well aware of just what he was talking about. "I'm your employee, and you're giving me a salary and providing me the ability to take care of my wife." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that. But regardless of that fact, Matt you are doing so much for other people; for you to not do this would be a bit selfish in my opinion. You are changing some lives, and that's most definitely something that you should not feel guilty about." Matt agreed with his friend when he said that, before looking at Matteo. "Oh, put your hand on his butt more and make sure that you cradle him more." Turning his head, Jay looked at Matteo while making sure that he was safe in his arms. "Okay, there we go." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that, before smiling at him. "Good job." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling as he ran his hand up and down Matteo's back. After which he looked at Matt so that they can keep talking today.

"Okay, so we were talking about the business. And Matt, I think that you are doing such a great job when it comes to business. You are doing the right thing I believe, and I am so glad that you guys are doing this. It's exactly what you guys need to do right now, and you need to make sure that you continue to provide for the staff that we already have." Matt agreed with Jay when he said that. "I just hate that I am not there in Hawaii right now." Jay agreed with Matt when he said that, well aware of what he was talking about. "Matt, you are doing the right thing right now; you're doing what's right for you sons, because that's what matters at the end of the day." Matt took a breath and agreed with Jay when he said that; he then went to take another sip of his coffee, while also looking at Matteo. That was, until he heard somebody through the baby monitor that he has on his phone. Going to grab it from his pocket, Matt saw that Noah is awake and just took a breath while also hearing Gabby wake up. "Listen, can you...." Jay then. "Go, go get Noah."

Matt agreed with his friend when he said that, before getting up so that he can go get Noah from his and Gabby's room.

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Making his way into the nursery shortly after hearing Noah cry through the baby monitor, Matt took a breath and sighed as he was really hoping to let Gabby sleep in today; however, that most certainly was not going to happen. Rather, she was already awake and going to pick him up. "Hey, it's okay Noah. Mommy's here. I know that normally daddy's here, but it's okay." Walking into the nursery behind Gabby, Matt took a breath as he looked at her. "Hey, sorry." Turning to look at Matt, Gabby smiled. "Hey, there's daddy." Smiling when he heard Gabby tell him that, Matt proceeded to make his way over to his beautiful family; he then wrapped his arm around Gabby and smiled due to the fact that he was really happy right now. After which, he pressed his lips to her forehead while whispering. "Sorry, I was about to come." Looking up, Gabby smiled. "Where were you?" Matt sighed. "Outside, talking to Jay. He has Matteo right now, and we're just talking right now." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling at their baby boy Noah.

"He feeding Matteo?" Matt nodded. "I can feed Noah with a bottle if you want? Me and him are talking outside right now if you want to rest." Gabby looked at Matt. "Baby, is everything okay?" Matt sighed. "He's helping me with my PTSD." Gabby just sighed and shook her head. "Baby, did you have some more today?" Matt just looked down when Gabby asked him that, before nodding as he most certainly did have some more PTSD. "Yeah." Gabby then sighed as she looked at Matt, well aware that he didn't feel the best when it comes to the fact that he hid that from him. After which, she felt Matt move his hand to the back of her head and kiss her forehead softly. "We were also talking business if that's okay?" Gabby sighed but agreed with her husband when he said that. "Of course." Matt agreed with Gabby when he said that, before smiling as he kissed her forehead once again. "Gabby, I hope you know that I love you more than anything in the entire world." Gabby just agreed with Matt when he told her that, before smiling. "Matt are you okay?"

Matt sighed as he got close to Gabby while wrapping his arms around her and Noah, because he's just worried about everything. "Listen, how about we do something else. Tell Jay to keep feeding Matteo, I will take care of Noah and feed him before getting dressed. How about you go make us some breakfast, and we can have a conversation outside with Jay? We can talk as friends and just relax. Can you promise me that? Matt, I'm worried about you; and I think we need to slow down right now." Taking a breath when he heard Gabby say that, Matt just agreed with her when she said that. "You sure that you don't just want to talk as us?" Gabby looked at Matt. "Baby, we need our friends to help us too. Also, I'm worried that if we just talk in our room; that it's going to affect you ever worse." Matt was confused when he heard Gabby say that, and was about to ask her about it; that was, until Gabby spoke to him. "Listen, go make breakfast. I will feed Noah, take a shower and then come join you and Jay outside. Let's spend time with friends okay?" Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling as he got close to her; wrapping his arms around Gabby, Matt smiled.

After which, he bent down and proceeded to kiss Gabby softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that he's ever wanted in life; a supportive wife, supportive friends, and amazing friends. "I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as she laid her head down on his chest and just cuddled up to him. "Go sit outside and just relax okay baby? I have Noah, and we'll be out soon." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling at her. "Egg sandwiches?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, before smiling as she leaned up and kissed him softly. "I love you." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling as he watched her pick Noah up to start taking care of him. After which, Matt went to make his way out to the kitchen to make them breakfast.
