The couple decided to stay downstairs rather than head back up to their bed, that way they can just relax and take it easy; and there was a reason for that, as Matt wanted his wife to talk to him. He wanted her to tell him what's going on, and he wanted her to open up to him. It's what his wife both needs to do, and what he so desperately wants her to do. And that's why he decided to do something else, he decided to do something that would ensure that they talk; and that was get dressed. Matt got dressed this afternoon, so that Gabby wouldn't be tempted to get intimate with him; and so that he wouldn't get tempted to be intimate with her. And that's definitely something that Gabby appreciated, as this was what she needed right now (along with her loving husband giving her some food. The food that they both need to enjoy. And that was why, while Matt was getting dressed upstairs, Gabby decided to finish making lunch for him; at the same time, Matt made sure to grab her some clothes. Coming downstairs in his clothes, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife as she stood in the kitchen wearing his shirt and her underwear, which is definitely something that he still enjoys.
But right now, that was not what he needs to concentrate on. Rather, he needs to concentrate on the fact that his wife needs to talk to him; talk to him about what they should've talked about earlier when they first got back from the press conference, and that was about how they're feeling through all of this right now. But first, Matt was going to just take a minute to enjoy what he was in the midst of looking at; and that was his wife just wearing her lingerie for him, which he's sure that he's going to get later. But right now, he can give it up due to the fact that he wants to give his wife the comfort that she needs right now; the comfort that only he can give her due to the fact that he's her husband, and the man that knows her the best. And that's why Gabby can always lean on him, which he's going to remind her right now. Just walking up behind his wife as she makes them some sausages, Matt smirked due to the fact that she was in the lingerie she was wearing (but you already knew that); and you also know exactly what Matt plans on doing, and that's set the clothes that he just got for his girl so that he can walk up behind her and wrap his arms around her waist.
And that was exactly what he went ahead and did, which was exactly what Gabby wants him to do anyways; she wants to be held in his arms, because it makes her feel much better. And that's what Matt wants to do right now, he wants to make his wife feel better. I mean, what husband wants to see his wife hurting? No husband wants to see his wife hurting, which is something that he knows that Gabby is right now; he knows that she's hurting right now, especially due to the fact that this involves their sons. The fact that this involves their sons, that just breaks Gabby's heart; heck, it breaks Matt's heart. The last thing he wants is for something to hurt his family, and that's what's happening right now; his family is hurting, and especially his wife. And like he said. They could be with their sons right now, but that's not what they need right now; and that's based on the situation that they are currently living under. The situation is so fluid at the moment, and the parents don't want to disturb their sons' life; right now, they need a constant in their life. And right now, that was their grandmothers, which was definitely something that they were okay with. Their sons being with family.
But there's another thing that Matt and Gabby were okay with, and that was them getting some quality time with each other; time that they can use to just talk to each other. And that was what they needed to do right now. And luckily, they weren't going to get disturbed by anything. More specifically, they aren't going to get disturbed by him having to get up. Matt and Gabby ended up having lunch ahead of them starting to talk, so that they can just concentrate on each other; and that was exactly what they're going to do right now, as they held each other close. Walking into the living room where Gabby was sitting in the shorts (and one of his shirts) that she decided to wear, Matt smirked due to the fact that she looks great; but right now, it's time for him to sit down rather than pine for his wife to be with him in bed. Rather, they just need to hold each other and talk. "Hey." Turning to look at her husband as she took a sip of her water, Gabby smiled due to the fact that she was glad that Matt was here right now. "I see you like wearing that outfit." Laughing when he heard Gabby say that, he watched as she decided to get up; after which, he watched as Gabby got close to him.
Wrapping his arms around Gabby shortly after they walked up to each other, Matt smiled as he held the woman he loves more than anything close to him; at the same time, Gabby put her hands on his arms and looked up at the man she loves. At the same time, Matt bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that he loves her, which is most definitely something that she already knows; after which, she grabbed his hand and just smiled at him. "You okay?" Gabby took a breath and just looked up at Matt, well aware that he was worried about her. "Want to sit down and start talking? Or do you want to just relax right now? If you want to just take it easy and hold each other as we watch TV for a bit, I am more than okay with that." Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, as she wants to talk to him. She wants to talk to her husband, and she wants to make sure that they get through this conversation with each other. It's what they both want right now. They want to get this conversation started, and they want to figure things out with each other. Which they need to do.
"I'm going to sit down okay?" Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, which he was more than okay with. "Want me to sit down first, so that you can sit down in my lap? I know that you always like to do that." Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, as that was definitely something that she wanted to do. She wants to have him hold her in his arms, and she wants to cuddle up to the man she loves more than anything in the entire world; that way, they can just relax with each other. That was their plan anyways. They were planning to sit with each other, relax in each other's arms; after which, they were going to relax and hold each other close. Just making his way over to the couch, Matt smiled as he proceeded to sit down on the couch where Gabby want shim to be; after which, Gabby smiled as she looked at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. Making her way over to her husband, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to sit down in his lap and cuddled up to him. After all, that's what they both want to do with each other right now. They want to hold each other close and talk, since that's what they need to do to keep their marriage strong for life.
And this all stems back to the deal that they made when they were on their road trip, that they would always talk to each other; and that they would make sure that they are okay, and are always in a place where they can be honest with each other. But one thing that Gabby didn't need to be honest with Matt about, was that she was stressed. And that was due to the fact that Gabby was tense. Moving his hand to Gabby's back, Matt proceeded to stroke it with his thumb as a way to make sure that his wife relaxes right now. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead softly as that just made his wife relax; he always knew that made her relax, which was why he always did it for her. "You happy to be in my arms?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling due to the fact that she was very happy over the fact that she was in his arms; she'll always be happy when she's in his arms. "Oh, I am most certainly happy over the fact that I am currently in your arms. That will always be the case." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, just agreeing with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world as they held each other close while listening to music.
"And are you okay with the music that I chose for the conversation?" Gabby laughed as she laid her head down on his heart, before running her hand up and down his chest as they cuddled up to each other very comfortably. "Smooth Jazz. The perfect type of music to talk to, as it's also very relaxing." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, before smiling due to the fact that he was more than happy over the fact that they are here with each other right now. "So listen, now that you feel a bit more relaxed; how about we go ahead and try and get you even more relaxed, and we can do that by you talking to me?" Looking up at Matt, Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that; well aware of the fact that she needs to open up to her husband. "Do you want to talk about the boys first? Or do you want to talk about how you're feeling about all of this?" Gabby took a breath. "I just hate that this is what our life has become." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, well aware that was the case. After which, he turned his head and kissed her forehead as they both held each other close. I mean, what's better than the two of them holding each other close right now?
Pressing his lips to Gabby's forehead, Matt just smiled due to the fact that this is everything right now; everything that he wants to do right now, and he just wants to hold his beautiful wife close to him right now as they relax with each other. "So, let's start processing this slowly okay? Where can we really start easily?" Gabby took a breath and then proceeded to start thinking of a way to open up to her loving husband, because that's what she needs to do right now. She needs to open up to her husband, as that's what he needs her to do right now. He needs her to open up to him, as it will allow him to help her to the best of his abilities; after all, that's all the both of them want. They want him to be able to help each other to the best of their abilities right now. "Gabby, I hate to even think this way; but do you blame me for this?" Looking up at Matt when he asked her that, Gabby was shocked that he even said that; and that was due to the fact that she will never blame him, and that's something that she really hopes that her husband knows. For him not to know that already, well that's not good; because he should've already known that, since it's always the truth when it comes to them.

"Do you blame me for this?"
Those were the words that Gabby never wanted to hear her husband say when it came to this, she didn't want him to ever think that he was to blame for all of this; because he isn't to blame. Sitting up, Gabby looked into Matt's eyes as she looked at him. "Hey, why in the world would you ever think that you were to blame for this?" Matt looked at his wife when she said that, a bit shocked that she even knew that was what he was already thinking. I mean, how can she already know that was what was on his mind. "Baby, I mean that. Why would you ever think that I blame you for this?" Matt took a breath when Gabby asked him that, as that's something that he knows that they're going to have to talk about this. And that's due to the fact that he was the one that brought it up in the first place, so it's a topic that they need to talk about right now. "Baby, I will never blame you for all of this." Matt just looked at his wife when she said that, listening to her as she came to cuddle up to him; after which, she laid down on his chest and cuddles up to her dreamy husband. At the same time, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby as he stared into her gorgeous eyes. After which, he kissed her.
That is, until Gabby whispered to him. "Baby, I will never blame you for any of this; because you aren't to blame for this." Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, because he knows that there are more things that he needs to think about. "But it's related to my family. My family is the reason why we have all of this. This all stared because people think I abused our sons, which I never will do." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, and that was due to the fact that Gabby knows her husband; and she knows that he will never hurt their baby boys. That's just the truth, and Matt has to know that. "Matt, this is not your fault; and I know that you didn't hurt Matteo or Noah, we all know that you would never do that. For you to think that this is at all related to you, that's just wrong. And when it comes to us not being with the boys right now, it's for their safety." Matt sighed as he heard Gabby say that, before feeling her cuddle up to him again; after which, she wrapped her arms around his torso and just laid down on his chest all comfortably.
At the same time, Matt proceeded to grab the blanket that they had on the back of the couch. Putting the blanket on top of the both of them, Matt smiled as he went ahead and wrapped his arms around Gabby as they just held each other Close. And that truly was everything that she wanted to do right now. She wanted to just be held in her loving husband's arms, and she wanted to be like this for a while; and that's most definitely something that Matt is more than okay with doing right now. If Gabby wants to be held in his arms right now, then he most definitely will hold her in his arms for the entire time. Just holding his gorgeous wife close to him, Matt smiled as he ran his hand up and down her back. "You know, I most definitely regret being dressed now." Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt say that, because that was not what they needed to do right now. "No, it's not going to happen. You aren't getting undressed. Instead, you're going to stay dressed, as we have a bunch of stuff to talk about after all." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, we most certainly do." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that. "Like our next baby."
