The Casey-Halstead Clinic for Mental Health

Hi Readers: And welcome to another day of chapters. My apologies for starting so late, so I'm not going to waste time when it comes to writing you guys a long note. However, I am going to say this. I hope to start writing longer chapters now that I've found a way to write those, which may mean that I update less; however, it means that you will get longer chapters. I hope that it compensates, and that you guys are okay with that. Now, I am not going to keep you waiting for Chapter Eighteen. So, here we go with today's updates.

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"The CH Clinic stands for The Casey-Halstead Clinic for Family and Mental Health." Will agreed with his wife when she told him what 'CH' stands for in the name of the new clinic, while also advising home of the entire time of the new clinic that he and Natalie are going to be helping Matt create; something that he thinks is going to be nice, considering it means that he's going to work side-by-side with his wife on a daily basis. Though, it's not like they weren't doing that before; after all, they did use to work together at Gaffney (commonly referred to as Chicago Med). But we're professionals here, and professionals use the actual title of the facility or institution that they used to work for. Because that was what Gaffney was as well, an institution; and that's due to the fact that it was affiliated with Chicago's Rush University. "So, what are you thinking when it comes to your role in the clinic? Do you think that you may concentrate more on the family part of the clinic?" Natalie sighed as her husband asked her said question, as she wasn't sure.

"To tell you the truth, I haven't really thought that part out; whether I want to just concentrate on the family side, or if I want to do the general clinic stuff. I mean, I know where you're going to work; after all, you're only qualified to be an emergency doctor." Will agreed with his wife as she said that, as that was just a fact that would never be in dispute; after all, Will is a doctor of emergency medicine. "Well, I know that I'm trained as a doctor of emergency medicine; and I'm not sure where that can leave me. I mean, I can help with the mental health side of things because of my brother; but that's the only place that I can really see myself really having a place there, unless I go back to school and do so me courses to get certified in family medicine. After all, we don't want to create legal nightmares for Matt." Natalie agreed with her husband when he said that, as that was definitely something that the family doctor didn't want to do for her friend; the friend who is already dealing so much with his mental health, specifically his PTSD.

Moving closer to the center of the bed, Natalie smiled when she noticed that Will got the message that she was sending to him; the message that she wants him to be in the center of the bed with her, that way they can hold each other close in bed. After all, that was what she liked to do with her husband at night; and it will especially be the case when work really ramps up again, and she really starts to work with Matt on creating the clinic. Moving his hand to his wife's hip this evening, Will smiled as he looked at Natalie while he held her close in bed; after which, he proceeded to kiss the woman he loves softly. "I love you." Natalie agreed with Will as he told her that he loves her, as that was definitely something that the doctor knew; and it's also something that she'll always know. The truth is, Natalie (just like Matt) never thought that she would find love like this again after her late military husband died; but now she has with Will, and she's glad that's the case. She always feels good when they're in bed together, and that's something that she really loves.

She loves it when Will holds her in his arms and makes her feel special; and that was exactly what her hubby was doing right now, making her feel special. Running his hand up and down Natalie's side, Will could tell that she was thinking about something right now; something that was related to him. "You're thinking about something, and I want to know what it is." Natalie smiled as she heard Will ask her what she was thinking about, and she was definitely going to tell him. "I just feel so happy and lucky..." The wife said, grabbing her loving husband's hand while stroking it with her thumb. "I didn't think that I would ever feel this way after Jeff died." Will agreed with his wife when she said that, definitely aware of that fact as he proceeded to lean in and kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Natalie, Will smirked due to the fact that this woman he has here in his arms truly is the love of his life; and he's really happy over that fact. If there's one thing that he knows, is that he doesn't plan on doing anything that can risk this marriage.

There we already times where he almost lost his wife (when she was just his fiancé in the past), and he was sure that was not going to happen again; especially when he sees himself having children with her, just like his brother is having children with Alex. "I know, that was hard on you; I remember how you really shut some of us out. Me especially, you didn't really seem to want to be around me." Natalie smiled when she heard Will say that, as she had something to tell him about that. "Yeah, and there was a reason for that." Will was confused when his wife told him that. "Care to share what that reason was?" Natalie sighed. "I developed feelings for you while Jeff was overseas during that last deployment, and it felt wrong since we were married and he was far away...so I felt a bit guilty; and like I was one of the reason why..." Getting close to his wife, Will could tell that he needed to hold her in his arms. Just bringing his wife against his chest this evening, Will wrapped his arm around her; at the same time, Natalie wrapped her arms around his back.

Kissing Nat's forehead softly, Will took a breath as he knew that this was a hard topic for his wife to talk about; and that was based solely on what he was seeing right now, how she was getting emotional. "It just felt wrong, yet it felt right at the same time." Will agreed with his wife as she told him that, before turning his head and looking down at the woman he loves more than anything; the woman he's loved for a very long time. And the woman that he's proud to call his wife. That will always be the case in their situation. He then decided to bend down and kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with Natalie as he kissed her, Will smiled due to the fact that he was feeling some of the same things when they were just starting to figure out whether they wanted to be together. "Hey, take a breath Natalie; I understand. I understand because I was always worried when it came to whether I was doing the right thing in going that fast. I wanted to let you grieve, yet I also wanted to be with you." Natalie agreed with Will as he told her that, smiling at him.

Moving his hand to his wife's hip, Will brought her right against his chest; at the same time, he ran his hand (and wedding band) up and down her skin. And that was exactly what Natalie needed at the moment, as it calmed her down in the best way possible; it allowed her to breathe and just concentrate on the breathing that she needed to do so that she could make sure that this was something she did for him. At the same time, Will proceeded to kiss her forehead and just held her in his arms. "I think that we did it at the right pace though." Turning her head to look up at her husband, Natalie put her hand on his neck and smiled at him; meanwhile, Will bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves softly. The woman he loves more than anything in the whole wide world, and the only woman that he can truly ever see himself having a life with. "Natalie, I hope you know that it's always been you; and only you." Natalie smiled as she heard Will tell her that, well aware that he's only ever really loved her. And that was obvious to her.

So obvious, that she wanted to do something for Will. She wanted to offer him the chance to have her against his chest, without her bra on. Getting really close to him, Natalie proceeded to whisper to Will. "I want to feel your chest against mine." Will smirked when he heard Natalie tell him that, well aware of what she was telling him to do; so he did it without questioning her motives, as he wanted to feel the same thing. Running his hand up and down his beautiful wife's skin this evening, Will then proceeded to unclip her bra and just smiled as he proceeded to take it off for Natalie; after which, he threw it onto the ground where it'll stay for the entire night. After which, he brought her body right against his chest (just like she wanted) so that her breasts could be against him; and boy was that hot. Let's just say that Will wants this more often. "You know, it is much hotter here in Hawaii; I wouldn't complain whatsoever if you ever decided that you were too warm every night, and decided that this was how you wanted to sleep every night."

Natalie smiled when she heard Will say that, as that was definitely something that she was interested in doing. "At least, until we have kids right?" Will agreed with Nat when she said that, smiling at her when she mentioned kids; after all, that was something he wanted. Smiling as Natalie brought up the topic of kids, Will was really happy since he wanted kids. However, that didn't mean that he was ready to talk about that right now; at least, not until they finish the first topic. "Listen, I do want to talk about that; I really do. But first, I want to finish up the conversation that we were having about the clinic. I want to just talk about something related to the staffing." Natalie agreed with her husband when he said that, well aware that was something they needed to talk about. "Now, I know that we need to talk about this with Matt; and we already spoke about it with Jay, so we'll have to do it soon before he hears it from somebody other than the both of us." Natalie agreed with Will when he said that, especially since Matt is her friend, her long-time friend.

"Yeah, I need to send him an e-mail about it tomorrow okay? I want to be the one to tell him, just out of courtesy." Will agreed with Natalie, well aware of what she was talking about. "With us being friends for so long..." Will then stopped his wife, not needing an explanation as to what she means. "Hey, I don't need an explanation Natalie; I already know that you guys have been friends for the longest time, because of Hallie. I understand already." Natalie agreed with Will when he said that, smiling as she was really happy that she had a husband who already understood what she was talking about. "Yeah, so I was going to send him an e-mail to ask him about it; especially since it would mean that we need to promise Ethan a salary. Now, I want to just talk about this. I know we said Maggie, but I also know that he and April are in a relationship; so, which nurse are we really going to offer a chance?" Will sighed when Nat pointed that out, as that was definitely something that they needed to consider; the relationships that they have to think of.

Natalie then looked at her husband. "And Maggie is really happy with Ben. I think that they're on the path to get married." Will smiled when Natalie said that. "I'm happy for her. You know, she did save our relationship; I credit her with that." Natalie laughed. "And I credit you with saving me from marrying that creep. What was his name?" Will smiled as his wife brought up her "ex-fiancé" Philip Davis. "Philip Davis." Natalie remembered that. "Right, the one with the daughter and the wife who died." Will laughed, smiling at her. "It happened after our first failed engagement, but I won you back." Natalie agreed with Will as he said that, as that was definitely the truth. "And I'm much happier being married to you." Will agreed with Natalie as she mentioned that she was much happier being married to him rather than to Philip. "Good, because you're stuck with me for the rest of your life." Natalie smiled as she went to grab Will's hand, intertwining their fingers. "And I'm glad that we're doing it here." Will agreed with Natalie, smiling at his wife.

He then decided that she was too far away from him and proceeded to move her against his chest again. Wrapping his arm around her back, Will smirked due to the fact that he was happy. Wrapping his arm around her lower back, Will smiled as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves nice and slowly. "I love you." Wrapping her arms around his neck, Natalie smiled as she looked into Will's eyes. "I love you too." Moving his fingers back to Natalie's back, Will smiled as he ran then up and down her spine as a way to please his beautiful wife; the wife that he loves more than anything in the entire world. And let's just say that there truly is nothing more that he wants to do right now, other than this of course; he wants to hold Natalie close to him, as they relax in bed with each other. Putting his hand on her arm, Will smiled as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves softly; just taking things nice and slow with his wife, Will smirked due to the fact that this truly is everything that he wants to do right now. He wants this time with Natalie.

Will's POV:
As I looked at Natalie this evening, I smiled as I just felt so happy. At the same time, Natalie must've been able to tell that was the case. After all, we are laying down really close to each other. Just getting close to me, Natalie smiled as she wrapped her arms around my neck. At the same time, I ran my hand up and down my back before stroking her back with my thumb. Bending down, I then kissed her shoulder and just smirked due to the fact that this is perfect; and it also just to happen that we're in the perfect place, Hawaii. Who would've ever guess that we'd be here. "I swear, I am still shocked that this is our life; here in Hawaii." Natalie smiled, agreeing with me as I said that; after all, that was definitely not something that we could've ever predicted when we first got together. "I love our life here in Hawaii though. It's perfect, and away from everything; plus, I know that you would've missed your brother." I agreed with Natalie when she said that, smiling as that was definitely the case. "And you aren't mad that it meant that we had to leave..."

Natalie shook her head. "Hey, I would rather be here with you, because you're the man I love." I agreed with Natalie as she told me that, smiling as I wrapped my arm around her nice and tight once again. Afterwards, I just started to take things nice and slow with her while I stroke her back with my thumb. "I love you." Natalie agreed with me as I told her that I love her, which is something that's always been the case. "I know that Will, because you've felt that way since we met." I agreed with Natalie, laughing a bit as she said that. "We just always had horrible timing." Natalie agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she went ahead and kissed me again. Meanwhile, I decided to grab my arm around her back and just held her against my chest. Meanwhile, Natalie wrapped her arms around my back as we both held each other tonight. And that was exactly what I wanted to do anyways, I just want to hold her here in my arms. "Just curious, did you remember to put the food in the fridge?" Natalie then thought about it. "I thought you did."

I sighed. "Want me to go check?" Natalie agreed with me, before smiling as she looked at me. Kissing her quickly, I smiled as I went to get up so that I could make sure that we put all of the leftovers in the fridge tonight; after all, we don't want them to spoil.

XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

To say that Will was glad that he went back to the kitchen to make sure that the leftovers were in the fridge was an understatement, as they weren't in the fridge when he got there; but now, they're back in the fridge, and that was exactly what he needed to have done. At the same time, Natalie turned to look at him as he walked back into their room. "You took a while." Will agreed with his wife as she mentioned that he took a while, and that was due to him having to put the food in the fridge. "Yeah, turns out we forgot to put the leftovers in the fridge." Natalie snickered when her husband told her that, as that just sounded like him. "More like you did, as you were the one who took care of them; meanwhile, I went to get changed for bed." Will agreed with his wife when she said that. "Yeah, that's because you take longer." Natalie agreed with Will, before smiling as he came to get back in bed with her. He then went ahead and got close to the woman he loves so that he can hold her in bed again. Closing the covers, Will smiled at his beautiful wife.

That's when he decided that he needed to bring up the topic of the staff again. "So, we're going to call Ethan, April, and Maggie tomorrow?" Natalie thought about it as she watched Will get close to her, and bring her back into his arms; putting her hand on his face, Natalie smiled as she leaned in and kissed the man she loves softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Natalie, Will smiled.

Natalie's POV:
I decided to just kiss Will nice and slowly while I thought about this, because it was a hard thing to think about; for some reason, I feel this type of loyalty to Ms. Goodwin to this day. And I just know that she may be mad at me if we do that, and that's what makes it really hard; yet, I also want to do what's best for the clinic. Maybe Will can help me with that, so I need to tell him. "You're struggling with it, aren't you?" I was a bit shocked when I heard Will say that, having not been aware of the fact that Will know. "How did you know that was what I was thinking about?" Will laughed as he smiled at me, running his hand up and down my back as he held me close. "Because I can see the wheels turning in your head, and I know how loyalty works with you; after all, I almost lost you when I wasn't completely loyal to you. I mean, not by cheating but..." Leaning in, I just kissed Will because I already knew what he was talking about. "Hey, I promise that we're already past that Will. Please, we don't have to worry about that anymore." Will agreed, smiling.

"Good, because I really love the sound of us being past it." I agreed with Will when he said that, kissing him again. "Now, we need to talk about what we were talking about before; the stuff with the loyalty and whether we're going to call them." Will agreed with me, before taking a breath. "I think that we should call them and leave it up to them. Last time I checked, we're only offering them a job; that doesn't mean that they have to take it. People get offered jobs all the times, and they have every right to take them. I mean, we're here." I agreed with Will when he told me that. "But you know it's not that simple for us, because we also took the job here so that you could stay with your brother; I had no ties really to Chicago other than my former in-laws. So, I had nothing really keeping me in there other than you and the hospital; so, it was easier for me to move. You, you felt like you had to follow your family." Will agreed with me as I told him that. "I hope you know that you're my family too Natalie." I smiled, agreeing with my loving husband.

"I know that, especially since I'm your wife." Will agreed with me, smiling as he leaned in and then continued to kiss me softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the man I loved, I smiled as this was what I wanted; and it's also what I got for a while, thankfully.
