Y/n's pov.
I sweep the trash into the dustpan then wipe the sweat off my forehead before turning around to see the floor is all clean. I see Heidi is mopping it up next while Paige is arranging the tables and chairs. Rowena is dusting the windows and other things, it's been an hour since we've start cleaning the hall, a few more things to do and we're done. Laurence is doing all the heavy lifting by throwing the big trash bags out, or putting decorations in the store.
I'm surprised that Paige is awfully quiet the entire time, the only time she spoke was with Heidi only.
" Are you alright? " I look over my shoulder to the right and see Rowena approaching me with the duster.
" Yeah, just tired and really want to end the day really quick " I said.
" Well I've done my part, honestly this could be worse " she said.
" I'm done too " I said and pick up the dustpan.
" I'm gonna throw these out first then we can leave " I said, she nods.
" I'll put this back " she gesture to the duster and we walk our separate ways.
I throw the dirt from the dustpan into a trashcan then put it away with the broom in the cupboard.
" Here " I look over my shoulder to see Heidi is done with mopping.
I grab it and put it in the cupboard I'm standing in front of then shut the door.
" I'm sorry for what Nadia said " she said, I sigh and turn to her.
" You didn't talk shit about my life " I said, she snickers.
" We talk shit about each other a lot " she said, I hum in response.
She chuckles.
" I really can't understand you can I? " I asked and she looks at me in confusion with her smile fading.
" What do you mean? " She asked.
" You tried to kill me, I don't regard you as a friend anymore but your being so nice and your apparently dating my mortal enemy " I gesture to Paige who's finishing up arranging the chairs.
She snickers.
" I realized everything " she said.
It was my turn to be confused and I'm puzzled.
" What? " I asked.
" After that night in the forest, we went home and I couldn't sleep at night, I barely ate for almost three months " she said.
" And then I picked myself up, I went here to learn magic and protect the people I love from someone who might be just like me from before, then I heard the rumors of how Paige treated you, I looked for you when your name shot fame through the city "
" But then you fell for her " I said.
" She's different to me, you have to understand that anyone can be a villain in someone else's story, so when I saw you alive, it opened my eyes " she said.
" Why did you do it in the first place? " I asked.
" Because you were a villain in my story " she said.
" Were? " I snicker.
" You were right in the beginning, I didn't come to this school to just study magic " she said, I raised a brow.
She tilted her head to her left and I know what that gesture mean, it's what she always use back at the village.
" She's here " I said.
She nods and I sigh.
" I guess my war hasn't ended yet " I said.
" I'm really sorry but she doesn't know about your gift " she said.
" How did you know about it? " I asked.
" Back at the village during the war, sort of obvious " she said.
" Right, you were watching " I said, she smiles.
" I hate to say it " she said.
" How is Paige by the way?, I notice that she hasn't been herself " I said.
" She is herself " she said, I squinted my eyes and shake my head.
" No, I don't think so " I said, she chortles.
" She doesn't talk to anyone else other than me after you know what happened " she said, I nodded.
" There's a lot of thing in my mind today after what happened, we'll talk more about this next time " I said, she nods.
" Of course " she said.
" Heidi I'm done " Paige approaches us and Heidi turns around to her.
" Let's head back to the dorm, I'm exhausted " she said then take Heidi's hand, interlocking their fingers.
" See ya, Y/n " Heidi said, I nodded.
" See ya " I said.
I look at Paige and she glances at me with no expression before turning away and I was surprise she wasn't even giving a look, it look like she doesn't care anymore.
I guess it's a good sign.
" Hey " I look to my right and see Laurence approaching with Rowena.
" What did they want? " Rowena asked.
" Don't worry about it, we're on good terms " I said.
" Last I check I almost died " Laurence and I chuckle and grab his arm, hugging it close to my body.
" You'll be just fine "
~ Time Skip ~
" Oh my god! " I squeal and laugh as I jump and spin around holding the envelope in my hand.
" This is amazing! " I giggle and turn to Derek who's smiling.
" Are you serious?! " I asked, he nods.
" A doctor confirmed it " he said.
" Girl or boy?! " I asked.
" We don't know yet, she's three months now " he said.
" I'm going to be an aunt! " I raise my fist in the air then put it down.
" Finally!, I was waiting for this moment, when I get home I'm going to go strangle Declan with a rope and smother him with a pillow at the same time " I said.
" For making Celeste pregnant? " Derek asked.
" No, for taking so long "
He suddenly flick my forehead and I yelp then rub the spot he hit me.
" What was that for? " I whine.
" Your finally going to be an aunt but don't forget your getting married by the end of summer and your giving me grandchildren too " he has his hands on his hips.
I smile with a smirk.
" Don't worry, I am planning on giving you three " I wink.
His eyes widened and I see his hand lift to flick me again but I gasp and duck.
" Hey!, You said you wanted grandchildren! " I said.
" Don't make inappropriate remarks! " He exclaims.
I stick my tongue out at him then look at the written letter again, I smile to read the sentence Declan has wrote over and over again.
Congratulations, of earning the title auntie.
" Now go, I have class after this " he said.
" Tell Celeste I'm naming the baby " I said then walk away.
" You can't name the baby, it's hers " he said.
" Still naming the baby! " I said and put the envelope in my pocket as I step out of the class and see Laurence standing by the door waiting for me.
He somehow looks at me with a shock and seemingly frozen in place.
" Are you okay? " I poke his shoulder.
" I was unaware you wanted three kids " he said, I chuckle.
I grab his arm and hug it as we walk down the hallway.
" I was teasing him " I said and notice him sigh in relief.
" Wait, you don't want kids? " I asked and he turns to me quickly.
" That's not what I'm insinuating! " He said.
" I just. . . " We stop in place and he seems to can't think of the word.
" Not ready " I said, he nods quickly and I smile before grabbing his cheek.
" Your adorable " I pinch it and he push my hand off with a chuckle.
" Hehe~ " I giggle then we continue to head down the hallway.
" Ah! " I hear mini screaming and both of us look in front where we see two fairies flying fast towards here.
They continue to scream until I notice Scouts at the back running after them.
" Here we go " I said.
" Y/n! " Elvenia screams then goes under my hair behind my whole Felix goes above Laurence's hair.
Scouts pants and bark as he sit down in front of us.
" Spit. . . " We both then look to the right where Garroth is panting.
" Her. .out " he wheezes.
We look down at Scouts who's gagging then pukes out Sylvia and she rolls on the floor drenched.
" This is the fourth time today! " She screams at Scouts who licks her.
" Dog breath is really hard to get off " I look down at Elvenia on my shoulder.
" I don't even know why he likes swallowing them because he ends up throwing it up anyways " Garroth said.
" Oh well " Laurence said.
" You talk, so tell us why " I look at Scouts.
He then picks up Sylvia by his mouth and walk away.
" Hey!, Put me down! "
~ Time Skip ~
" I hate desk duty " Laurence said and I sigh as we sit down behind the receptionist.
" Rowena and Lumina is putting the books in so it's our turn here " I said.
" You can't complain either, it's better than stressing your brains out on where to put this book and that book and those books " I said.
" I'm not complaining " he said.
" You just did " I let out a chuckle.
He turns away with a shaking head.
" I don't know what you mean " he said, I laugh then teasingly hit him.
" Ow!, Hey! " He turns to me with a scoff.
" I didn't even hit you that hard " I said.
" You hit me with your ring " he said as he rub his arm.
" Oh?, You want me to take it off? " I then open my hand to take it off.
Suddenly he grabs my wrist and I gasp when he pulls me towards him, our face are as close as that time in our hangout spot where I fell on top of him, he looks at me with a stern face.
" Don't ever take it off " he said, I chuckle then peck him on the cheek.
" Your adorable in every other way " I said and lean back on my chair but he still holds my hand.
" You think I'm adorable everyday " he said.
" That's why I love you " I said and sit here just waiting for anyone to come up here.
I was caught off guard when he pulls my chair closer to him and let go of my hand, he then put his arm around my waist and I couldn't help but smile and lean my head on his shoulder.
" Flustered? " I asked.
" No, why would I be? " He asked.
" Denial means yes " I said.
" No it doesn't " he said, I giggle and turn my head up to him.
" Your cute when your in denial "
" I am not in denial " he gritted his teeth and look at me with a sarcastic smile.
I just turn my face away and we stay like this.

I can feel him rolling his eyes away and I giggle again, I hear the door opens and I look over there to see a guy entering the room and my eyes widened to know it is.
" Ugh, this guy " I said as I slowly sink down my seat.
" Who?, Curtis? " Laurence asked.
" You know him? " I asked and he hums.
" He's in my martial arts class " he said.
" He's in here a lot and keeps talking to me " I said then sink more.
" Why?, What are you doing? " He asked as I sit on the ground then peek on the side of the counter to see him.
He has dark brown hair light blue eyes and making his way here.
" I think he's into me " I said.
" What?, What makes you think that? " He asked.
" Because he flirts and knows my schedule, he's a creep, his excuse not to ask Lumina is because her girlfriend is Rowena and he's scared of her " I said then hide under the desk as I notice he's closer.
" And your hiding why? " Laurence ducks under the table while I kneel here.
" Get rid of him for me, he's annoying " I hug his left leg.
He then smirks.
" Say please " he said.
" What? " I asked.
" Beg me, and apologize for saying I'm in denial " he said.
" Are you kidding me right now? " I asked.
" Nope, come on, he's close " he smirks and I roll my eyes as I groan silently.
" Fine, your not in denial and please get rid of him for me " I plead and he smiles.
" Hey Laurence " I hear Curtis' voice.
" My pleasure " he pecks my lips.
My face just flushed red but I just hug his leg when he straightens up.
" Hey Curt, need something? " Laurence smiles.
" Oh, I was thinking if I could talk to Y/n "
I roll my eyes and sit still here.
" She's not in today, why? " Laurence asked and he fold his arms leaning back on his chair obviously intimidated already.
" Oh she usually helps me out with finding books " he said.
" That's bullshit " I mutter.
" Sorry, she's not in " Laurence said with a more annoyed tone.
" Where is she? " Curtis asked.
" In class " Laurence said.
" That's weird, it's Saturday she doesn't have any classes on Saturday " Curtis said.
" How'd you know her schedule? " Laurence asked.
" Cause I'm in here all the time " Curtis said.
" Are you stalking her? " Laurence asked as he sit up properly.
What is he doing?, Your supposed to drive him away, Laurence.
" No of course not!, She's like your fiancée now, I'm just worried about her " Curtis said.
Why would you be worried about me?
" Why would you be worried about her?, She's fine " Laurence said.
" No, it's just after yesterday, I thought she'd need someone to talk to " he said.
" Are you referring to Nadia? " I see Laurence was about to get up but I hig his leg more and he looks down at me.
I shake my head.
" Chase him away, not pick a fight " I whisper.
He looks back up at Curtis and stay put.
" So what? " Laurence asked.
He's insinuating you'll hurt me Laurence you dumb-dumb, I think he just wants to hear it himself, I have to calm him down or we'll end up in the faculty again. I look at Laurence's waist then my eyes traveled and an idea popped up, I smirk and move closer in between his legs and put my hand over him.
I see his eyes widened and push my hand away with panic.
" It's just I never thought you'd hit a girl " Curtis said.
" Your stereotyping, I protect Y/n and my friends, it doesn't matter their. . . " His breath hitches when I put pressure.
" . . .gender because they need to be rid off from this world " he finishes his sentence rapidly.
He's tense and eyes are focused on Curtis, keeping a straight face.
I just know this is torture to him.
" It's a girl, you don't hit woman, how'd your mom reacted to that? " Curtis asked.
He then grabs my hand and when I try to use my other hand he holds it as well.
" Doesn't matter, because everyone has rights so, you should go, Y/n's not here " Laurence talks fast and I almost snorted.
" Before that, sarge Crowley wants us to be in the field tomorrow, and here, he told me to give you this " Curtis said, I roll my eyes in annoyance.
Can he go already?
" What's this? " Laurence let go of one hand and I took the opportunity to hold him again.
He then tenses up again.
" It's what we're going to learn for the rest of the classes before graduation, after that we can be out of his hair " Curtis said.
I look up and see he swallowed a lump in his throat while putting down what sounds like a book.
" Okay thanks, you can go " Laurence said.
" Don't worry, I won't steal your girl, not after finding out you two got engaged " he said.
I squeeze him and he slams his hand on the table.
" Please just go! " Laurence said.
" Shhh! " We hear Esmus.
I giggle and take my hand off when he grabs it back, I gasp lightly.
" Okay!, Relax, I don't want to start a fight in the library, nonetheless Esmus there is going to get pissed and I don't want a troll breath in my face "
" Bye " Laurence said.
I hear faded footsteps.
" Is he gone? " I asked loudly.
He then push back his chair then look down at me with a glare as he holds my wrist.
" What? "
