" Your not sick, seems like it's just an allergy " Mr. Faera said.
" Allergy to what? " I asked as he takes out a stick with a cotton in the end.
" One way to find out " he said.
" What's that for? " Laurence asked.
" A swab " he said then sit down on the stool next to this bed I'm sitting on.
He leans my head back.
" This will be uncomfortable so try not to move so much " he said, I nodded.
I stay like this until he shoves the thing up my nostril, at first it was fine until he pushes further.
" Augh! " I groan and close my eyes tightly.
He moves it around and pulls it out after a few seconds, I cough to how bad it hurts and I see Laurence was uncomfortable as well.
" I apologize " Mr. Faera said then walk over to the medicinal brewing stand.
He mix my snot on the cotton in the bottle of something and start stirring.
" What's that going to do? " I asked as I sniffle.
" It'll specify what your allergic to " he said.
" Like what? " I asked and see the clear liquid turned purple.
He walks over to his book and the book flip through paged quickly on its own with his magic and it stopped.
" Fragrance " he said.
" What? " Laurence asked.
" Your allergic to perfumes " he turns to me after putting down the bottle.
" I've smelt more than one perfumes how come it's acting up now? " I asked.
" Some allergies are dormant, and since you grew up from the outer lands, coming here and experiencing winter might have triggered it " he said then approach me.
" Now what? " I asked.
" Give me your hand " he said and I did.
He pushes my sleeve and turn my hand around.
" What are you looking for? " Laurence asked.
" Usually it comes contact with the skin and not smelling it, I'm looking for a rash " he said then put my hands down.
He moves my hair when he turn my head and pull down my scarf.
" Seems like I found it " he said.
I see Laurence's eyes widened and I just remembered where he's looking, I push Mr. Faera's hand off then adjust my scarf. He takes a whiff of the air then turn to Laurence and grab him which startled him.
" Umm. . . " He awkwardly stands there as Mr. Faera sniff his sleeve.
" Rose perfume, your allergic to rose perfumes " he said then let go of Laurence.
He walks away to his stationary as Laurence and I look at each other with red cheeks, he clears his throat as he turns away and I adjust my scarf more properly.
" Here, this should help with it " I look up at Mr. Faera who approaches me with a bottle with a light purple liquid inside.
" Drink a sip before going to sleep " he said and I nodded.
" Thank you " I said as I stand up from the bed and he stands there staring at the both of us.
It was an awkward silent.
" I won't tell anyone "
I gasp then hug him.
" Thank you!, Thank you!, Thank you! " I squeeze him and he chuckles.
I pull apart then look up at him with a smile.
" You owe me now " he said, I nodded.
I turn to Laurence who was also relieved and grab his hand.
~ Time Skip ~
" Now I know to not wear perfume anymore " I chuckle.
" I didn't know you liked roses " I said.
" Didn't know your allergic to it, making a note of it on my journal " he said.
" It's alright, I guess the rash and the. . . mark is going to be there for a few days " I said.
" But I don't think that'll stop me "
He holds my hand and I giggle as he twirls me while we walk down this garden path, he had my back against a marble pillar and I look up at him as he gazes down at me.
" Your still wearing a perfume, I might get more rashes " I said.
" It's on my clothes, not my lips " he said then kiss me.
I kiss back with his hands on my waist and mine holding the medicine bottle. It's cold out here but with him holding me I don't care, his body is very warm and I could stay like this as long as I want. His lips on mine overwhelmed me with a feeling I can't explain, after a few seconds I finally move my hand up to his face to hold it.
" Ahem! "
We both pull apart immediately and I put down my hand before I could hold his face and step away from the pillar behind me. Laurence clears his throat as well while I adjust my scarf to look up and see Mrs. Zvahl.
Oh shit.
I press my lips into a line and see Laurence swallow a lump in his throat while staring at his mother. It suddenly confused me when she has a smirk and snicker.
" Laurence come, I need your assistance " she turns and walk away with the same expression.
" I'm a dead man " I look over to Laurence.
" From the looks of it, I don't think so " I said.
" You don't know her like I do " he said, I hum.
" True, I think you should go before anything happens " I said, he nods then kiss my cheek.
I giggle as he runs off after his mother with his boot prints left on snowy ground, I turn to another direction towards the school.

I clench my hands around the roses I picked as I watch her walk away and Laurence the other following his mother. The smile she has on her face makes me want to throw up and burn her to the ground. You fucking bitch, you made him broke his promise to me, I swear I'll make you pay for everything you've done to me.
I feel the tears streaming down my face from my eyes.
I look down at the roses which are crushed and I forgot about that thorns around the stems that my palms are bleeding, I throw it aside in frustration and see a few drops of blood stain the snow below me. He was mine in the beginning, I will fucking tear your life apart no matter how much you beg.

Y/n's pov.
" Seriously Y/n?, After last time it didn't go so well being outside the school at night " Elvenia whines and I walk down the hallway.
" Relax, I'm not going outside the school " I said and she looks at me on confusion as she flies backwards.
" Then what's with the paper bag? " She gestures to the brown bag I'm carrying.
" You'll see " I said and head over to the door that leads to the garden.
I adjust my scarf to be more warmer and my jacket I'm wearing then step through the garden as my footprints are left behind me in the snow.
" It's chilly " Elvenia sit down on my shoulder and use my hair to be her blanket.
" Don't worry it won't be long " I said and I approach the peach tree they have here and there's also a small lake here.
Don't know what's the purpose but it's pretty clean and frozen.
I kneel down on a stone which doesn't have any snow and shake the brown bag to make noises.
" What are you doing? " She asked.
" Wait for it, I just found out about this the other day " I said and look around.
Trying to spot the furry friends when. . .
" Meow! "
Bingo.
I look across the frozen lake where I saw one fluffy grey cat making his way here.
" A cat? " Elvenia asked, I hum.
" Cats " I said.
" Plural? " She asked and I nodded.
The grey cat with yellowish green eyes approach me when I felt another thing against my arm.
" Meow " I look down to my left and see a tabby brown fur cat looking up at me with yellow eyes.
I giggle and pet him then pet the grey one too.
" Where did they come from? " Elvenia asked, I shrug.
" Don't know, I heard some of the students in my alchemy class saying there's cats hanging around this area so I brought cat food " I open the bag.
Pouring the same amount in different spot for them to eat.
" Did they tell you how many cats there are? " She asked.
" No, why?. . . " My word trails is I see three more cats approaching.
" They all seems to be domesticated " I said and the orange tabby immediately went for the food.
I pour more so they all share.
There's a grey fluffy one, orange tabby and brown tabby, one white cat and one calico.
" Well they're all adorable " I said as I reach to pet and they let me.
" Your all fluffy too " I squeal quietly and hold myself together from squealing any louder.
" Imma name you all. . . . " I start thinking.
" Mooncake, Pumpkin, Waffles, Truffles and Maple " I smile.
All in order.
" Truffles? " Elvenia asked and I look at her with a wink.
I feed them evenly then close the bag before I watch them eat happily.
" I think someone has definitely been feeding them because they look like they've been nurtured and clean " I said.
" Well I'm freezing, ever think of that? " Elvenia asked and I chuckled.
" Meow " Mooncake meows after he's done and approach me.
He let his paws step on my skirt and lap as I scratch under his chin.
" Your a fluffy one " I pick him up and hold him close as he lick his teeth.
I feel his body vibrating and the purring is loud and clear, I smile to how adorable he is. All of them finished eating and just hang around me, Waffles is sitting down grooming himself while Maple's rolling around the snow and Truffles lied down next to me. As for Pumpkin he's sniffing Truffles' butt.
" Hey, pervert " I push his face away and he tackles my hand.
I yelp when he bites down and I let go of Mooncake.
" Hey! " I hold him down and shake him around.
He plays with my hand and I chuckle until he let go.
" You better not carry diseases " I look at my hand where the marks are but there wasn't any cut.
I look down at them when I notice Pumpkin is sniffing the brown bag.
" It's empty " I open the bag and put over him.
I laugh to how ridiculous he looks walking around with it, I watch as he continues to walk and suddenly bumped into a leg.
" Oh " I chuckle.
" Um Y/n " Elvenia tugs my hair and the realization hit me.
I look up at the man standing there with his hands on his hip.
" Well your sassy " I said, he sighs.
" What are you doing out here, Y/n? "
" What does it look like Derek? " I asked and take the paper bag off Pumpkin before I pick him up.
" I found some cats " I show him the orange tabby and the others just lie comfortably around me.
" I apologize master Derek, I tried convincing her to go to sleep " she said.
" And failed " I said, she glares at me over her shoulder and I smile at her.
" Your not even dressed warmly and where are your gloves?! " He gestures and I look up at him with no expression.
" Just let me enjoy the cats " I said then put down Pumpkin.
" It's alright Elvenia, go back to the library, I'll deal with her " he said and she nods before flying away.
" See?, Even Waffles want me to stay " I pick up the brown tabby who's looking at me with his yellow eyes.
" Waffles? " He asked.
" Yes, Waffles " I said then hug him.
" It could have diseases " he said.
" Since when your afraid of germs? " I asked, he sighs.
" Get up and go to sleep " he said.
" Why aren't you asleep? " I look up at him.
" Because I had papers to write and I saw you just now, so go inside, please, I don't want to argue right now " he said, I pet Waffles.
" Ten more minutes, I wanna enjoy the cuteness of my children, they need me right now "
" Y-. . .your what? "
" You heard me, I am the chosen one "
