Families fight. It's only natural. It's inevitable. And down in Hell, it was no different. It had been a rough week for I.M.P, and tensions were running high. Everyone was picking fights over minor things. Along the way, some heartless things were unintentionally said. As the boss, Blitzo was under the most stress. It got to the point where he said he might as well get rid of everyone. Hearing that, Moxxie and Millie left. They knew he wasn't serious. But it was better to walk out and make amends after a day or two after things had cooled down.
Loona, however, was another story. Years of loneliness in the orphanage had led to a significant lack of trust. Even after being given a real home after being adopted, she had never let her guard down. She took Blitzo's words to heart. Isolation was all she had known. Her tough exterior served her well again. Nobody had wanted her. It only made sense that her father figure was the same. Loona was ready for him to tell her off one-on-one. But he didn't. Blitzo was undoubtedly a bit of an airhead. And he was in no way Father of the Year. But he knew his responsibilities and aimed to do his best for his daughter, adopted or not. Loona was his daughter. And he had vowed to do everything within his power to protect her.
