No one cares but I changed my calligraphy again while writing this chapter (yes, I still write on paper in case you were wondering). Am I the only one that changes their way of writing every week or it’s normal?
Plus I feel like this chapter kinda sucks(?), but I wanted to try and write it cause the request was cute.

WARNINGS: Major fluff, sick reader and shitty boss
Your phone starts ringing on your bedside table. You reach for it immediately knowing it must be an important call since it’s your day off and you hadn’t set any alarms.
“Yes, who’s speaking?” you answer with a groggy voice, great it seems like you’re still sick “(y/n) I need you at the office in 20’. There’s an important meeting and I want you there to take notes for me.” You recognize your arrogant boss’s voice and immediately rolling your eyes you retort “Sir, today is my day off, plus I’m sick. I can’t-” but he cuts you off mid sentence “And I don’t care. Get your ass here (y/l/n)!” And with that said he ends the call.
You flop back in bed groaning, your head pulsating “What’s up babe?” your girlfriend Scarlett questions “Have to work…” you mumble, trying to convince your aching body to cooperate with you. “Nu-uh. We talked about it, baby. You’re sick so no work and it’s your day off.” she scolds you. But you get up anyway “Yeah well… Tell that to my boss.”
“(y/n) get back in bed immediately, yesterday you could barely stand!” she adds in a stern voice, sitting up in bed “Scar, honey it’s ok. I feel a bit better today and I can stand, see?” you reassure her, while trying to reach the wardrobe. But apparently you aren’t as good as you claim to be, cause not even a second later your vision gets blurry and your legs give up on you. Luckily Scarlett is quick enough to stop you from hitting your head on the floor and then she calls 911.
TIME SKIP (cause I can queens)
Your head is still throbbing as you slowly open your eyes. You take in the surroundings, it doesn’t take you longer to notice that this is not your office and it’s not even your bedroom. You panic and the first instinct is to sit up, but someone pushes you back on the bed without much trouble “You know (y/n), sometimes you really act like a big stubborn baby.” You recognize your girlfriend's voice and immediately relax, a tired smile appearing on your lips “But I’m YOURS big stubborn baby.”
At that moment a nurse came in to reassure you that you’ll be fine, it’s just a high fever and you just needed some rest and a few meds. As soon as
he leaves, Scarlett climbs in your bed and gets comfy in her big spoon position. You are finally ready to rest a bit in her very warm and comfortable embrace. But again your peace is interrupted by your phone going off for the second time that day. Knowing already who is the person calling, Scar decides to answer and deal with it instead of leaving you to do that in these awful conditions. She’s greeted by your boss yelling, swearing and rumbling about where you are and why it is taking you so long. He even threatens to fire you if you’ll not be there in the next five minutes, and that’s when Scarlett loses it. With all the calm in the world she simply says “(y/n) is quitting.” before ending the call and going back to cuddle with you. All you can do is smile knowing that she’ll always have your back.
