Y/n's pov.
" Oh my god " I exhale in disbelief as we walk down this huge hallway of crystal walls that glimmers.
My breath is visible in the air because of the coldness and I hug myself as we continue on this hallway.
" This is amazing " I said and my voice echoes a little.
" Newb " I look to my right where Rowena is with Lumina.
" Shut up, it's my first time " I said and we continue to walk this hallway until we arrive at some kind of foyer.
I look up at the ceiling where the chandelier is, and on top of the foyer balcony just behind it is where I see a glass stain portrait of the royal family I assume.
The king, queen, two sons, and a daughter. . .and a dog or wolf.
" It's a wolf " I look to my right where Laurence is.
" Wow, I can't imagine to have a wolf as a pet " I said.
" It's like a dog " Garroth said.
" Hmm, you would know " I said, he smiles.
" Nice gloves " Laurence said and I look down at my hands as I smile.
" Thanks, Derek gave them " I said.
" I saw you " I furrowed my eyebrows then turn my head to Laurence and he looks down at me with a smile.
" Last night " he said.
" Does everyone eavesdropped or spy on everyone in the school? " I asked.
" It's a school of magic which is strict and most of us would like to go out at night for fun " he said.
" What were you doing last night? " I asked.
" Try to get out of course " he said, I snicker.
" Seems like you fail, if you follow me then you might even get a look outside pass curfew " I said.
" From what I saw you were caught too " he said, I snicker.
" At least I had fun before I was caught " I said.
" Your not wrong there " he said.
We then turn our attention to the foyer balcony where we hear a bell being rung, there we see a man in a suit which I assume is the courtier.
" Ladies and gentlemen, his and her highnesses will be ready in about twenty minutes, nobleman please head down the east wing garden for the king and princes, noblewoman make your way to the west wing garden for the queen and princess, thank you " he said then walk away disappearing pass the balcony.
" See you later " Laurence walks away.
" Bye " I wave before hugging myself from the cold.
They said it'll be warm, but I'm freezing.
" Are you alright? " I look to my right and see miss Layla approach, I nodded.
" Just a little cold " I said.
" The palace uses a magic spell for warmth, and that doesn't affect her, I should've thought of that before bringing you here " Derek said.
" She'll freeze if she stays here " Mrs. Zvahl said.
" It's okay, I'm not that cold, there's probably some hot food and drinks that could warm me up " I said.
" She's right " miss Layla said.
" But who knows if you can withstand it " Derek said.
" It's alright, we'll bring you back home immediately if you can't stand it " Mrs. Zvahl said, I nodded.
" Let's go "
~ Time Skip ~
I sit down next to miss Layla in this garden table, there's seem to be few more round tables for the others.
" I didn't think there was a lot of girls in our school " I said.
" Another school was also invited, O'kasis " Lumina said as she sit down next to me.
On this table, miss Layla, Mrs. Zvahl, and I seem to take it, because I notice the other girls didn't want to sit here, not even Lumina, as soon as we sit down the maid didn't even wait to serve some food and drinks.
" Thank you " miss Layla said.
I pick up the cup of tea and take a sip, the warmth goes down my throat and it was relieving.
" Y/n " I hum as I look up at Layla.
" Like this "
I see she holds her cup of tea elegantly and the other hand holds the coaster plate.
" Don't slouch, bring the cup to you " Mrs. Zvahl said.
" I'd rather splash this at someone's face then do this bullshit " I said.
" You do know you have a chance of being in a prestige family yourself, when you do, they'll make you learn some manners " she said.
" Fuck that " I laugh.
I drink my tea with both of my hands since the ceramic glass is hot and warming my hands.
" Please Y/n, for the sake of the school's reputation? " miss Layla asked, I sigh then put down my cup of tea.
" Fine " I said and sit straight.
I flick my pinky as it hit the ceramic cup and it made a clink, I bring the cup near my lips and sip obnoxiously loudly, Mrs. Zvahl keeps a smile as Layla just roll her eyes.
" Okay, I'm gonna stop " I shudder my shoulder in disgust then put down the cup.
" Where the fuck is the queen and princess?, Their making me bored of waiting " I said and rest my head on my palm.
" Now I understand the pain in the ass that Derek must be talking about " Mrs. Zvahl said, I furrow my eyebrows.
" He talked shit about me? " I asked.
" No, just complaints " she said, I snicker.
I got off my chair and step away when Layla grabbed my arm.
" Where are you going? " She asked.
" What does it look like?, I'm going to look for that prick " I said.
" Hey!, You can't just roam around the palace, you just got here " she said.
" I'll find my way " I said and push her hand off as I walk off.

I walk away and ignore her as I made it down a path with snow.
Boys are at the east wing garden, so there's a chance the gardens are connected, if I take this path and head down to east then maybe I'll find them, I'll grab Derek by his hair and beat the shit out of him. In front of the king and princes if I have to, I don't care.
" I can't do this " I stop in the middle of this pebble path and turn my head to my right where I hear the voices.
" Not here, please "
I lean my head and step back where I notice a gazebo and a glimpse two people, I quietly tip toe over to the marble pillar and peek my head to the side, there I see two men standing there outside the gazebo close to each other. One against the gazebo pillar and the other pinning him.
A lover's quarrel?!, I am so watching this.
" I will only stop if you accept my apology " said the brunette.
" Ethan please " the jet black hair guy looks at the brunette's light blue eyes with his green emerald pairs.
" I love you, Ash " Ethan said.
I gasp silently and squeeze my arms together as I watch in excitement, basically fangirling already, Ethan leans in but Ash seems to turn away.

" For god's sake, we're in a palace Ethan, we'll get caught " Ash said.
" It didn't seem to be a problem before " Ethan hooks his chin up and my jaw dropped.
I'm trying my best to hold myself right now, fuckin kiss him, Ash.
" It wasn't me who said that, I swear to you, Zarina lied, she was just jealous " Ethan said.
I gasp again when Ethan goes down to his knees, I shake my fist as I squeal silently.
" I beg you " Ethan looks up at Ash who is too stunned to speak.
They hold hands and it was so tensed, I bite my bottom lip with my fist near my lips to the intensity, like seriously I need to scream at Ash to just fuckin kiss him.
" Just. . .don't do that again " Ash said, Ethan shakes his head.
" I won't, I promise " Ethan said then got up to his feet.
" I love you too " Ash said.
Ethan smiles and didn't even wait to just kiss him, I felt myself melt as I watch, their hands over each other as they make out with the snow showering down on them and they're really into it.
Fuckin finally.
" Stay longer! " I shout and they both immediately pulled apart.
They didn't even glance at me as Ethan grabbed Ash's hand then make a run for it, I scoff and fold my arms.
" Rude " I said.
I stand here then felt a cold going down my spine as I shiver, I hug myself and look up to where the snowflakes still snowing down at me, I sigh, I got distracted, better start kicking ass now. I turn around to continue my walk when I just realized I went off path, I don't remember where I just came from.
" Ah shit "
I hiss in thought and did a full spin and I stop at at a specific direction.
" Okay, definitely this way " I start walking.
Hopefully.
Looking around as I walk, it's definitely getting colder by the second and I'm pretty sure my lips are dry right now. Ten minutes passed and I'm now pretty sure I went the wrong way before I turn around to where I came from, but from the looks of it, this place is a fucking maze. Whoever made this garden, damn you, who the hell needs this much flowers anyways?
And now I'm lost, great, I'll freeze to death if it's like this. I then look down on the pebble path as I just walk, doesn't really matter where I go now, hopefully someone finds me. My attention then turns to the pond next to me and I exhale where I see the koi fish swimming around inside. I didn't think they survives this temperature. I notice they seem to swim closer to me and I take my gloves off then put my hands in the water, the cold had my fingers numb already but I giggle to when they slide just under my finger.
Well at least the fish will keep me company, I just swirl my hand in the water then take them out since it's getting too cold and it hurts for some reason. I splash the water off my hand and dry it on my skirt, for some reason it just gotten really cold now. I hug myself again then look around, my dumbass thought I could get around this place, I then put my glove back on and hug myself more before I walk away.
I look up at the sky again and see how white and foggy it is, we're on top of a mountain literally and I don't know how this cold get any colder. I need to get inside the palace because I don't want to lose my fingers. I walk quickly and my foot slid on ice which made me slip and fall.
" Ah! " I yelp when my head hit the ground.
I couldn't even bother to get up because this is too cold, I turn to the side as I hug myself, I can't feel my legs after that fall nor do I feel my arms. The snow on the ground is not making it better and I shiver bringing my legs near my chest to warm myself up, I know it's useless at this point. My body is locking up but what I don't understand is how fast the cold is taking over my body.
Derek get your ass over here for fuck's sakes.
Derek's pov.
" It's been thirty minutes, she hasn't returned " Layla said.
" What was she thinking?, And why was she roaming around? " I asked.
" She wanted to look for you " she said and we walk down this pebble path quickly.
" She can't go anywhere else than here " I said and we turn a corner.
" Let's just find her quick, and don't alarm their majesties " I said.
" I'll go right " she said and I nod before I head down left.
God damnit Y/n, couldn't you at least make this easier for everyone?, I know your hardheaded but out of all places here when you know your vulnerable. I turn to another left and run down the pebble path when I'm the distance my eyes widened to see the girl on the ground unconscious.
" Y/n! " I run and immediately go down on the ground.
I turn her around to see she's pale and her skin is as cold as ice.
But your not Y/n..
My feet are cold too.
