Y/n's pov.
I look down this empty hallway and I take it everyone has gone to sleep, I peek at this door to see Derek inside by his desk working on some paper and I skip forward pass him.
" Y/n, this is so dangerous, it's pass curfew, someone always check our rooms, we'll get caught if we don't come back " Elvenia whispers as she sit on my shoulder.
I turn a corner and see the back of miss Layla down the hallway, I step forward when she suddenly turns around and I gasp backing up.
" Who's there? " I cover my mouth and seconds later her footsteps fade away.
" If you say we're gonna get caught, then we're surely get caught " I look at Elvenia, she looks at me with a worried expression.
" If you don't want to help me, you can go to your room " I brush her off my shoulder, she shriek silently and she catches her fall by flapping her wings.
I walk out of the corner and head down this hallway, it's when Elvenia flies back next to me.
" You certainly change your mind quick " I said.
" I'm your fairy now, I can't just leave you, plus I'll get in trouble too for not being able to hold you back " she said, I turn my head to her.
" It's okay, I will surely take the blame " I said.
We head down to the first floor and to the ground floor.
" Why are we going out again? " She asked as we made it to the three archway hall to the entrance.
" I have something I've been wanting to do " I said and approach the door.
" Then what's with the axe? " She gesture to the strap I'm wearing that's holding my battle axe on my back.
" Just for safety measures "
" The doors are spelled shut at night, no one is allowed to go out " she said, I gesture my head to the door and she sighs.
She holds the door handle and push it down, I gasp when she was shocked back onto my chest with a yelp, she lands on my palms and I look at her with my wince expression while she shakes her head from the electrocution she just had.
" I told you " she said.
" Are you okay? " I asked and she stands up.
" My wings are fried "
I look at her wings where they don't glow much and she flap them but she isn't flying.
" Did you say spell shut? " I asked, she looks at me and nod.
" As I demonstrate " she gesture her hand, I chuckle and put her on my shoulder.
" Mrs. Zvahl's spell is really strong compared to miss Layla, so I think it's a sign for us to go to bed " she said, I snicker.
" Hold onto my hair if you need to " I said and hover my hands over the handle.
I see her covering her eyes but peeked through her departed fingers, I hold it and she flinched, a few seconds pass and nothing happened, I smile and push it down as we hear the click of the door opening, I pull it.
" Voila " I said as we see the outside.
" H-. .how did you do that? " She asked, I smile at her.
" If we don't get caught I'll tell you " I said and step out of the school then shut the door behind me.
I head down the steps and see this road is busy at night, I look around and start walking down the street.
" Okay, you've seen enough let's go " I felt Elvenia tug on my hair.
" Hey, we're fine, relax, we'll be back before midnight " I said.
I skip down the street of entertainment and see other people enjoying it, my eyes look around for a specific shop to when I look behind and notice the school is no where to be seen.
" You know the way back right? " I look at Elvenia and she sighs with a nod.
" Enjoy yourself " she said, I smile.
I giggle in excitement.
~ Time Skip ~
I bite my apple and move my head to the melody of this song playing by the musician band.
" I-I-I got this feeling, yeah, you know, where I'm losing all control, 'cause there's magic in my bones~ " I sing along.
" This music is cool, what do you think? " I look down at my shoulder to Elvenia.
" I'd say it's a simple pop street music, I might have heard it a few times in the past " she said.
I finish my apple and toss it as I walk away.
" We've been out for thirty minutes and there's still so much to know about the city " I said.
" It's a big city after all, but you can't let the negative side go over your head " she said.
" If you say that, then we'll definitely come across it " I said.
" By the way, where'd you get all this money? " She asked.
" When I owe Derek seven hundred risterals, means I'm not that broke " I said, she chuckle.
" True " she said.
I then come across a man selling small cute cakes that looks like animals, Elvenia gasp.
" Moon cakes! " She said.
" Wanna rest and take a bite? " I asked, she nods.
I see an empty table next to me, I pick her up and lower my hand, she jumps off.
" Wait here " I said then walk away.
I walk up to the man.
" Hello " I said.
" Good evening miss, would you like some moon cakes? " He gestures to the small square cakes displayed.
" I'll have this and that " I pointed.
" Seven risterals " he said.
I take out my coins as I see him wrapping it up in a rectangular shape perfectly then tie it up with a string.
" Here you go " he pass it to me and I pay him.
" Thank you " I said then walk off back to the table.
" I got em', let's head back before we get caught and have it in our room " I look up and see Elvenia not on the table where she should be.
" Elvenia? " I turn around to another table thinking I'd be mistaken.
She's not anywhere.
" Elvenia! " I call out and see she's nowhere.
Oh no, I don't know these streets very well, she's my only guide, I drop the moon cakes and run off down the street to the left. I look up and down the place to see if I can find her.
" Elvenia?! " I call out again.
I stand here then turn my attention to my right where I hear laughter and a golden light ball. It's an alleyway and I squint my eyes as I walk in cautiously, I can see three figures of a man holding a lantern.
" She's a beauty alright " one man said.
I grab my axe from my back as I approach and the golden light made me realized it's Elvenia trapped in a lantern.
" Hand her over! " I stand here and all three boys turn to me.
The one holding the lantern smiles.
" Well look who we have here " he said.
" I said hand her over " I point my big axe at them but they laughs.
" I believe not, this fairy cost more than a thousand risterals, hell, might even buy my own mansion " he put the lantern on the crate beside him.
" Y/n!, Just run!, Forget about me! " She shouts.
" Hey, look at her clothes " the second man said.
I glance down at my uniform I'm still wearing.
" She goes to that phoenix magic school " said the third guy.
" A noble, explains the fairy " said the second guy.
" I bet her daddy's got money " said the first guy.
" I will not repeat " I said as I hold my axe.
" Oh!, She's feisty " they laugh.
The first man suddenly throws a blast of some kind of spell, I flinched at first when the ball of energy just disappears two feet away from hitting me.
" What the. . . " They look at me in confusion and I smirk.
" My turn "
I throw my axe and they duck, my axe hit the wall which made it break into two. The blade shattered, I ignore it to run then jump on the first guy's back and leap over making the guy fall forward. I land on my feet and grab the lantern where Elvenia is in, I open the door and she flies out.
" Are you alright? " I asked, she nods.
" Wings are back! " She said, I smile but then she gasp.
" Look out! " I immediately duck to when she shouted and pair of arms failed to grab me so I swing the lantern in my hand as it shattered at the second guy's head.
He groans as I back up and it seems like the third guy grab me by the waist.
" Y/n! " Elvenia shouts.
" Go! " I shout and she flies away.
" Son of a bitch! " said the second guy said and I see he has a cut on his head.
" Look here boys! " The first guy grabs my hand and I see my silver bracelet.
He takes it off my wrist.
" No! " I shout.
" That's a fine silver " he said.
" Give it back! " I kick the first guy as he fall forward again crashing the wall while I whip my head back and hit the second guy's face.
He let go groaning as I grab my bracelet, the third guy hit me in the face.
" Ah! " I grunt falling on the ground.
I drop my bracelet again, I was about to grab it when both my arms are picked up by the second and third guy. The first guy pick up my bracelet and I struggle.
" Let go! " I scream.
" Not bad for a noble " he turns to me while I'm still struggling.
" That's not yours " I said and smell blood under my nose, I'm thinking it's bleeding from the third guy who hit me.
" What do you think boss?, We can extort her dad for money " said the second guy.
" I could use some fancy clothes too " said the third guy.
" She's not bad, might keep her for some fun " the first guy approaches me and my eyes widened.
I took the chance to lift my legs and run up his body, kicking his face to boost me and I flip my body over. The guys holding my arm have their hands twisted so I took the chance to elbow both of them and make a run for it.
" Agh!, After her! " I hear the first guy shouts.
I turn a corner and hear them behind me, I keep running until I see an exit, I hear something went over my head and I look up where an energy ball hit the roof. My boots skid on the ground to stop myself and I cover my face as the roof collapse in front of me. When it was over I look at my exit that has been blocked by the roof pieces.
" Nowhere to run now, little girl " I turn around to where I see the three men approaching.
I stand here still when I notice the first guy has the same energy ball in hand, he throws it at me and I didn't flinch this time when it disappears before hitting me.
" What's wrong with you? " The third guy asked.
" It's not me " he said then throw more balls at me.
I stand here awkwardly with my hands behind me as they keep disappearing.
" Well this is awkward " I said.
He yells out in frustration when another energy ball is thrown but a bigger one, I stand here unfazed, I was startled to a man just jump down in front of me blocking the blast. There was no blast and only the energy ball in his hands instead.
" Derek " I said.
He throws the ball back and the men dodges, the first guy was about to throw another energy ball, however Derek was faster and he throws a small vial to the ground which created a smoke, causing the men to cough. He runs into the smoke and I stand here watching his figure beating up the three men, joined with another female figure.
" I'm so sorry, it's the only way to get help " I look to my right where Elvenia flies down to me.
" It's alright, I could've been dead if you didn't " I said.
Once the smoke clears I see all the men covered in wounds already and Derek standing there panting. The female figure I saw is now miss Layla standing there next to him with a book floating beside her.
" Go away " she kicks a guy with her heels as they all start running off.
I swallowed a lumped in my throat when both of their heads turn to me, so the only thing I could do in this corner was put up my hand and wave.
" Hi "
I can't think of any other dialogues.
