Everyone is busy trying to keep up with the remaining time.
Leesu is happy that despite of the short time they sometimes joke around and then went back to practice, in that way their practice doesn't have the heavy energy.
They finished everything and polishing at 4:00 PM. They called for a short meeting by the staff.
They told to wear the clothes they prepared for the final rehearsal at the stage with their clothes on to see if there's something wrong or need to adjust.
Leesu headed to the dressing room with one staff to help her with the clothes. When she finally put on the clothes, the stylist called her.
"You look so beautiful in person". The girl stylist said that make Leesu's cheeks turned red.
Getting compliment by women is different than getting compliments by men. Leesu often gets the butterfly effect when women compliment her, it just different.
"Ah, yeah, Thank you~". She shyly thank her while bowing.
"Can I put this to you?". The staff kindly ask for her permission before she put the accessories for the clothes. Leesu nodded eagerly and moved forward the stylist.
Leesu is looking at the mirror while the stylist still putting the accessories that actually made it heavy than the clothes itself but it makes it more beautiful.
"Are you wearing any makeup?". The stylist asked her.
Leesu is known for her shyness, she finds it hard to communicate with other people except to her close friends. But the stylist looked kind and so full of curiosity. She can't just ignore her.
"Uhm, no. I don't wear makeup when I practice dancing". She smile to the girl.
"I'm really sorry to ask so many things. I'm just new in this profession and I want to learn more not just by my seniors but also from you guys- trainees". The stylist explain but Leesu shook her head.
"No need to apologise. That's fine, I'm just not good at communicating but you can ask me anything". Leesu replied.
The stylist finally finished the fitting.
"Is it too big? How about the skirt?". The stylist asked her to double check.
"The top fits perfectly but the skirt...". Leesu flatten the skirt, getting worried.
"I'll make it longer a little- just don't tell to my senior". She was shocked with the young stylist but then giggled when the stylist snickered.
"Is that really okay? I'm afraid that I might put you in a bad situation". Leesu hates being a burden to others.
"Yeah, that's fine. As long as it stays secret between the two of us". The stylist moved her eyebrows up and down.
"Thank you so much-"
"Sunny. I'm Baek Sunny and I will be your stylist and for the whole show- I hope you stay on I-Land". Sunny said that made Leesu laughed for the first time with the person she just met.
"I'll do my best to do that. I'm Im Leesu, I hope we get along". Leesu handed her hand and Sunny gladly accepted it.
The two lady left the room and meet the other Ilanders. Ilanders can't help but to look at the blonde girl, but Leesu seems to not care with it.
She sat down to sofa waiting for the signal for them to proceed at the stage. Leesu put her hair up in ponytail.
"Tomorrow is the D-day". Jake sat beside her.
"And we'll do great, right?". Leesu asked the Ilander who also got closer to her.
"I have so many thoughts in my head. And one of them is me being drop to the GROUND". Jake sighed. He's been thinking about the possible outcome of the test. Either they got high score and drop less Ilanders, he know to himself that he will go to GROUND.
"Why are you saying that? You are doing great!". Leesu patted her down friend.
"But no matter what happen tomorrow, promise me one thing-". Leesu nodded her head eagerly like a habit of her to just say yes to people without hearing what will they say.
"Don't you ever meet me there, I will hide all the nuts if we ever meet there. This place should be the only place where we should and can only meet, do you understand me?". Jake held her hand, waiting for her answer.
"Yah, I'm still older than you-". Leesu said after hearing Jake.
"Basically in just 5 days". Jake cut her off that made her grumbled.
"Fine! Promise me too that you will stay here no matter what". She squeeze Jake's hand to assure the boy.
"Okay, everyone to the lobby, now". One of the staff announced that made every Ilanders got up and went downstairs.
The heels of Leesu is making a sound while walking down the stairs. She can't stop it since the shoes is heavy too. They finally get in the egg and make it way to the moving stage.
"Are uncomfy with that?". Jay walked towards Leesu who saw that she uneasy with her clothes.
"Sort of, but the stylist said she can make it longer for tomorrow. I'm fine". She said and straight up her back to at least have enough strength to pull the choreography with the clothes she has.
"Good to hear that. Just be careful, okay?". Jay patted Leesu's shoulder, she nodded. Jay go back to his position.
The rehearsal started and everyone is in trouble, even Leesu. This is their first time to be in this moving stage. One single mistake can put you in danger. It's really scary.
There some blocking number for them to know where to stand to avoid accident.
Despite of Leesu being new with the outfit she have, she still managed to move and give her best even though it just a rehearsal.
They eventually finished. Everyone is breathing heavily taking off their in-ear and moving back to the living room.
Ilanders flopped down on the ground as after they change the clothes. Tiredness leaves mark to every Ilanders. Tomorrow will be the final performance for the first day, continuous days of practicing and spending most of the time to practice their skills.
The food arrived that the show provided for Ilanders.
Leesu headed to their room to get clean before following the others to the table.
"Why? You don't like the food?". Nicholas asked who's sitting across her.
Leesu seen eating her food timidly. She's tired chewing the food but she needs to, to at least have energy.
"It's not like that. I'm just tired, I guess". Leesu answered and continue eating.
She haven't finished it all when she get up with her left over food and segregated it. She's the first one to get out of the table or finished quickly when in fact she's always the last one to leave the table. Leesu headed to their room after she brush her teeth.
"Are you okay?". The guy enter their room and saw the girl putting her blanket above her belly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm really really tired. I've never felt this tiredness my entire life". She chuckled.
"I hope we do great tomorrow. I don't want any of us to drop, I feel comfortable now with them". Ilander walked towards the bed beside hers.
"I'm hoping for that too. Let just wish everyone do everything they can tomorrow". She replied as she yawned.
She then looked around when she felt like she forgot something-
"I bought it, you left it at the table". The guy showed what's behind him.
"Oh. Thank you, I can't sleep without it be-"
"I know, I've seen you many times already". The guy chuckled and give the tumbler to the girl.
"How?". Leesu reach her tumbler and put it beside the small cabinet.
"I saw you since day 1, as soon as you woke up you drink water even with your eyes still close". The guy tilted his head, teasing her.
"It becomes my habit because of my Mom who always force me to drink water". She suddenly missed her Mom that she haven't seen since she went back to Korea which is 4 years ago.
"Thank you, K". Leesu smile. He nodded and smile at her.
"It's nothing, you teach me yesterday with my voice and I know I improve even if it just a bit. I'll just go outside so sleep tight, okay? ". She nodded, still can't take off her smile on her lips.
"Good night, Leesu-chan". K said in his sweet voice without looking back with his hand waiving.
For some reason, Leesu's cheeks heat up, it's not like it's her first time to hear someone call her like that. But the way he said it, that's what makes her cheeks turned red.
