Minho arrived at the police station, hoping with all his heart that he would find Jisung alive.
-Lee Know!
He turned around to spot Hoseok running towards him.
-Hyung?
-Chan told me. I will take Jeongin's body to the hideout. You should find Jisung. I told him to wait in the main office. And don't let yourself be seen!
Minho nodded and covered his head with his hoodie. He sneaked through the back door and tried to attract as less attention as possible.
When he finally found the main office, Jisung was not there.
Of course Jisung didn't listen. He never did. He continued the mission like he always do. Minho knew that better than anyone.
He wanted to exit the room when he heard footsteps. There was not very much of a place to hide, so he just leaned on the wall and when Suga and Jin entered the room, the door covered Minho.
The latter tried to steady his breath and hold his anger. But having the killer of Seungmin in the same room with your former leader, was not a great feeling. He just clenched his fist and suffered in silence.
-I'm just wondering why isn't Hoseok at the hospital. Namjoon needs him now more than ever, complained Jin arranging some files.
-It's his shift today. He is a police officer, after all.
-No, he is a doctor. He was a doctor. He will always be one. And now we need his skills.
Suga tried to defence Hoseok, but Jin was still sceptic.
-I understand he is your best friend, but we are in an uncomfortable situation right now. I cannot trust anyone.
-What do you want me to do, hyung? Fire him? He did nothing wrong. And Namjoon is now alive all because of Hobi.
Minho's mind started filling with guilt. Hoseok never blamed him for leaving. He did everything to help them.
Yes, he was Chan's man, but he did everything in his own style. He saved Felix and Changbin, he tried to save Jeongin... And it must have been heard to keep hiding from the police that.
-It's just weird. I've never heard him about an internship, added Jin.
-Well, that's what the kid told me.
-Where is he now?
-In the interrogation room. I told him to wait for Hobi there.
Suddenly a syren started ringing. There was a special alarm only the officers knew. Suga and Jin exited the room in a rush.
That's when Minho sighed in relief, letting his head to rest on the wall.
He listened closely to the alarm, completely confused. The alarm was announcing an intruder.
Was it Jisung? Did they find he was not what he was pretending? Or there was another one?
Minho didn't want to imagine anything before seeing with his own eyes. He went directly to the interrogation room.
Minho opened the observing room's door, the room from which the police monitors what's happening in the interrogation one.
His eyes opened wide when he saw Jisung in the interrogation room, looking through some files left on the desk.
He rushed to open the other room, but it was locked. He tried again and again, kicking and knocking in it, but with no result.
He knocked in the glass and that's when Jisung raised his sight towards Minho. He approached the glass and put his right hand on it.
-Jisung! Are you hurt?
-Hyung? What are you doing here?
-I've came to rescue you. Can you unlock the door for me?
Jisung furrowed his eyebrows. He went to the door and tried it himself. Still no result.
-I didn't lock it. I don't have any idea how that happened.
-It's ok. There is another door behind you. It's for emergency. That door doesn't lock.
Jisung tried it too. He couldn't open it. Something was holding it closed from the other side. Jisung shook his head while Minho was starting panicking.
-Then I'll break the glass. No problem.
-Hyung! shouted Jisung to stop Minho. There is no use for you to save me.
-What? How can you say that?
-You locked yourself in that room for three days. Jeongin said it himself. You can't have feelings. That means all this time was a waste. You faked your feelings for me. This is what you call mercy? You can stop pretending now.
Jisung slid down on the wall, not wanting to face Minho.
-Jisung, listen... What I feel for you...What I feel right now is not fake.
Minho's voice was shaking.
-All my life I've been studying this disease. I was curious how mom and dad managed to get married if they couldn't have emotions. It seems like every psychopath has his one in a million person that can make him feel something. They are each other's person. And you are mine, Jisung. You are my person. Because of you, because I've spent time with you, I developed some emotions. That's why when Jeongin told you all about my situation, I felt anger and shame. I didn't know how to cope with that, so I locked myself. I'm sorry.
Jisung sighed and rose up, turning towards Minho once again. Minho cracked a sincere smile while staring into Jisung's beautiful eyes.
-I love you, hyung...the younger said out of the blue.
Minho's mouth slightly opened and some tears started falling down his cheekbones.
-You do? Me?
Jisung nodded with a little smile.
Minho put his hand on the glass right where was Jisung's. It was like he was holding his hand. But they were separated by the glass. The cold glass.
Minho's heart dropped in fear when he noticed the emergency door opening and revealing a man all dressed in black. That must have been the intruder.
Minho recognised the symbol on his clothes. That was Mafia pointing a gun towards Jisung.
Minho went to the door separating the two rooms and started kicking, hiting it in desperation.
-Jisung! You need to open this door! Please! Jisung!
-Are you crying, hyung? Jisung asked calmly, which shocked Minho.
-What?
-I can't really see you. It's a one sided glass. You should know that better than anyone. While you see me, I see only my reflection. And yes, I do see the guy behind me ready to kill me. It's ok. At least we talked it out. You know how I feel.
Minho was showing his very first emotions and Jisung couldn't see it even tho he was the reason. But for him it was enough to hear Minho's sob to know he did the right thing and to feel loved.
-Sungie...I'm begging you, cried out Minho. Don't leave me!
-I'm glad I met you, hyung. After all I've been through, you were the greatest gift in my life.
Minho was weeping, tracing with his fingers on the glass Jisung's features, feeling pain because he couldn't feel his touch.
-Sungie, please... Don't...
Minho's chest was tightening, his breath was unsteady, tears were keeping falling and he was suffocating. He was scared.
He never felt like that before. He couldn't think, couldn't stop gasping for air. His skin was burning, his heart was stinging and the words couldn't escape his mouth while sobbing.
He was like a baby, crying ugly and kicking and fearing the pain.
That was his first strong emotion...and it was the loss.
-Sungie...I love you, he managed to say through the muffled sobs.
Jisung heard it and let out a wide gummy smile. He close his eyes and accepted his fate.
And through the blurry vision of tears, Minho witnessed Jisung being shot on the back of his head.
He saw the blood splattering the window and the lifeless body falling on the ground in a pond of gore.
He watched speechless how the Mafia guy checked Jisung's pulse to make sure he did his job, then took off his mask to breath.
The guy Hyunjin fought with. He was Jisung's killer. Minho started knocking again in the window, almost cracking it. He had bloodthirst in his eyes He wanted to offer San a sentence worst than death.
-You took him away from me! You took him from me! He was my life! he yelled from the top of his lungs.
That's when Hyunjin and Changbin stormed into the room.
-Hyung, we need to go! said Hyunjin before noticing the mess Minho became. Hyung?
He tried to put his hand on the older's shoulder, but when he approached him, he saw what was on the other side of the window.
He got so shaken up by the view, that he covered his mouth with his hand to not throw up. Hyunjin was that sensible and the shock was strong enough to do that to him.
Changbin started crying again, but he swallowed and took the others two out of there before the police arrival.

This chapter took longer that I expected.
I know you are all angry and have the urge to kill me right now, but I promise the next chapter will be better.
