Minho climbed the stairs in a rush.
Meanwhile Changbin was way in front of him searching for Hyunjin.
The latter was using all his stamina to fight with San and Taehyung. He managed with a kick to disarm Taehyung, but that didn't stop the older to hit Hyunjin over and over in stomach.
San spit on the floor some blood, then grabbed Taehyung by the collar and pushed him aside, the latter falling on the floor right next to his gun.
San went straight to Hyunjin and started strangling him.
Hyunjin's face was all red, with veins climbing on it. His jaw was clenched and his hands were trying to push San. But the latter was tightening his grip, making Hyunjin gasp for the air he couldn't get. His body was turning pale. His legs were moving chaotic.
With his final breath, he positioned his legs and hit San in the abdomen, propelling him on top of Taehyung.
Hyunjin get up abruptly and took a moment to cough, his hand almost ripping his collar.
When he escaped the feeling of suffocation, the others two were ready to jump on him again.
That's when Changbin appeared and put both of them down.
-Hyung! exclaimed Hyung with a muffled voice.
-Hyunjin-ah, you're alright?
Changbin noticed the bruises on Hyunjin's neck and the way he was taking pauses between the words to gasp for air.
-Hyunjin!
The latter whipped his head towards the staircase to meet Minho.
-Hyunjin! It's Felix! You need to go to him!
-What happened....to Felix? asked Hyunjin barely standing on his feet.
-He's dying! yelled Minho genuinely terrified.
Hyunjin rushed to the second floor without minding anymore the pain.
-Changbin, come with me! We need to find Jisung and Jeongin!
Changbin nodded and followed his hyung.
Hyunjin found Felix in the exact place Minho left him, leaning on the wall, laying in a puddle of blood, with his eyes closed.
Hyunjin felt like his stomach drop when he saw him. He crunched down with tears in his eyes and took his hand in his owns.
-Felix...Felix, please wake up!
Hyunjin kissed Felix's hand and tried shaking him awake.
-Please, Felix! I....I can't live without you! You did this to me! You made me love you! Don't you dare leave me like that!
His screams were full of pain. His throat was burning and his neck was covered in veins. He was desperate. His vision became blurry because of the ugly crying.
-Felix, please! I love you! I believe you! I want us to be together! Don't do this to me!
Full of stains of blood and dirty of smoke, Hyunjin was frozen in his spot waiting for a miracle to bring his lover back.
Suddenly Felix's eyes slightly opened.
Hyunjin saw it and tightened his grip on Felix's hand.
-Felix?
The latter looked in Hyunjin's direction and smiled.
-Felix!
As fast as the life was drained from Hyunjin's body the moment he thought he lost everything, that fast he revived when Felix showed him that beautiful smile.
-We need to get you out of here, said Hyunjin carrying Felix bridal style down the stairs.
Mingi shot towards Jisung, but the latter dodge it in time. He splattered he had in a bottle in his pocket right in Mingi's face. Fortunately, he covered his face with his hands in time for the acid not to get to his eyes.
Meanwhile Hoseok jumped on top of Jisung who fell on the floor. He took some knives similar to the ones the surgeons use and made a cut close to Jisung's collarbone. He made another one on his right cheek and dig another knife in his shoulder.
Jisung squirmed in pain. Hoseok moved his face closer to find another spot to cut.
Right then Jisung spit in his face some liquid that blinded him for a second. Jisung got up and spit the rest of it on the floor.
-Well, that's gonna leave me without taste for weeks, he mumbled to himself.
He rushed to Mingi and hit him in his ribs with his knee. Mingi bent down in pain leaving Jisung the opportunity to sneak the gun.
He throw another bottle in the air and shot it.
The bullet released a spark that in combination with the flammable liquid set aflame the room.
Jisung let himself down on the floor covering his head. Several burn were impregnated on his back.
Minho and Changbin saw the flame and slammed the door open.
-Jisung! screamed Minho seeing the younger on the floor.
Jisung got up by himself, covered in burns and ash.
-Am I not an arsonist? joked Jisung looking at his two hyungs.
Minho helped Jisung go down the stairs while Changbin went up to find Jeongin.
The latter was hiding behind some wood boxes from Jungkook's bullets.
Wooyoung found him and made a serious cut on his back.
Jeongin fell on the ground and shot Wooyoung in the the leg.
Unfortunately, in the exact moment Jungkook shot Jeongin in his arm.
The younger had no chance to react.
Jungkook stepped closer to finnish the job when he felt a blade digging in his shoulder twisting deeper in his skin. He yanked in pain and fell on his knees before the man who attacked him.
-Chris?
Chan was standing there with burns on his face, arms and his clothes full of ash. Cuts and bruises everywhere and his eyes red because of the smoke.
-Don't you dare touch my family, you scum! he cursed before hiting Jungkook with his leg. Namjoon is in the hospital and Hongjoong disappeared without a trace. I'll say you should leave now.
Jungkook crawled to the exit followed by Wooyoung to bring the news to the others.
-Can you get up? asked Chan holding his hand for Jeongin to grab it.
Jeongin got up, but he fell in Chan's arms.
-I thought you died, he whispered.
-That easy? Not a chance.
They met with Changbin on the staircase and went outside.
The all gathered around Chan the moment they saw him.
-Hyung! Felix is dying! We need Jeongin to treat him! begged Hyunjin crying.
-Jisung had burns everywhere, added Minho.
-Jeongin can't treat anyone, said Chan. He needs to be taken care of too. Let's go to the van! I'm gonna find a doctor at home.
They all agreed and headed to the van. When they reached the parking spot, something unexpected happened.
Jin threw one of Suga's bombs in the van's direction creating an explosion.
Under the members' shocked eyes, the van disappeared in the flames.
-Seungmin! yelled Jeongin feeling his chest tightening.
-He was in the van...I told him to wait there, said Changbin feeling a lump forming in his throat.
-Maybe he's still alive, maybe...
-He's dead! Chan cutt off Minho. If we go there we die too. Let's go home!
None of them moved from their spots until Chan raised his voice.
-I said let's go!
