(Rivtin) Chapter 8: Mario and Lucas get back to the others

It was a wintery Morning morning and Lucas was getting very weak, from carrying Mario around. The reason why Mario can't walk is because of his injuries that he received. 
"Hey, Mario are you getting  hungry? Or is it just me?" Asked Lucas, 
"It's not just you, I'm getting hungry as well." Said Mario,
"Okay, I think I know where I can fish." Said Lucas, 
"Okay? Where?" Asked Mario, 
"On the ice but...I won't put you on the ice I will leave you on land." Said Lucas, 
"I was going to ask that." Said Mario, 

Then Lucas saw a frozen river and he put Mario down next to the frozen river. 
"Want me to make a fire?" Asked Mario, 
"Yes, please." Said Lucas, 
"Okay." Said Mario, 
"Thanks." Said Lucas, 
"No problem, question are you going to fish?" Asked Mario, 
"Yea I am, that's what my powers are good for." Said Lucas, 
"That's true." Said Mario, 
"So, Mario you don't know what attacked you do you?" Asked Lucas, 
"No I don't and wait...isn't your leg swollen from the skiing accident?" Asked Mario, 
"Yes it is and I have been walking this whole time with a swollen leg and by the way it hurts so, much." Said Lucas,
"Understandable and fun...not." Said Mario, 
"Is that sarcasm I hear?" Asked Lucas, 
"Yea." Said Mario, 
"I'll be back." Said Lucas, 
"Alright." Said Mario. 

When Lucas got onto the ice he cracked a bit of ice and was using some of his strength and energy to make a hole where he could fish. A couple of minutes later he had caught four fish and he was walking over to Mario and saw that Mario had made the fire.
"Thank you." Said Lucas, 
"No problem." Said Mario, 
"Let's cook some of this fish." Said Lucas, 
"Yea I'm hungry." Said Mario, 
"Understandable and I am as well." Said Lucas. 

Night had fallen and Lucas was carrying Mario as well fighting the cold, how weak he was getting and how sore he was. A couple of long and painful hours later they made it back to the cabin and Lucas was that sore and weak that he collapsed on the floor. Mario held onto the wall and he was going down slowly. 
"Lucas?" Asked Mario in a worried tone, 
All Mario could hear was Lucas breathing hard and slow.
"Lucas?" Asked Mario, 
"Mm?" Asked Lucas, 
"You good?" Asked Mario, 
"Not really." Said Lucas breathing hard, 
"At least we made it back to the cabin in one piece." Said Mario, 
"True and finally." Said Lucas, 
"Thank you Lucas." Said Mario, 
"No problem, I know you would do this for me." Said Lucas, 
"True." Said Mario, 

Then Mario tried to get up but...he fell on the ground. 
"I can tell that you can't walk still." Said Lucas, 
"Yea, I can't even stand that much without getting pain." Said Mario, 
Then Lucas got up and he walked over to Mario, he had put his arm around Mario's neck and Mario did the same. When they both finally entered Ritchie, Brandon, David, Plant, Flurry and Devin where all talking to each other about the missing guild members. 
"I wonder and hope if both Lucas and Mario are alright? It's been a full night." Said Brandon, 
"Yea, I hope they are alright." Said Ritchie, 
"My bro will be fine but...I don't know about Mario." Said David, 
A couple of seconds later Lucas's legs gave up on him and he collapsed. Mario held onto the wall and was slowly going down. When Lucas got to the ground he was breathing heavy and he was trying to stay awake. This made a noise that  got all of their attention. 
"Huh? What was that?" Asked David, 
"I don't know it's go and see." Said Brandon, Ritchie and Flurry, 
"Is it my papa?" Asked Plant, 
"Actually it could be Mario and Lucas." Said Brandon, 
"I'll go and set the med-bay up if you need me to." Said Devin, 
"That sounds good thank you." Said Ritchie, 

When Ritchie, Brandon and David got to the noise they saw Lucas and Mario. 
"MARIO!?! LUCAS!?!" Shouted Ritchie running to them and in shock, 
"H-hi." Said Lucas, 
"Lucas?" Asked David, 
"Y-yea?" Asked Lucas, 
"Your a dummy." Said David, 
"I-I k-know I-I a-am." Said Lucas breathing heavy still and starting to see black, 
"Mario where did you go? As well what happened?" Asked Brandon worried, 
"I got attacked by something, I don't know what it was that attacked me all I know is that whatever attacked me had claws and it had injured me. That's why I couldn't make it back on my own. I'm very lucky that Lucas came looking for me if he didn't I might not not be here." Said Mario,
Then Lucas passed out. 
"Let's get you both looked after and let's get you both somewhere more comfortable." Said Brandon, 
"Yea let's." Said Ritchie. 
Then David picked up Lucas while Ritchie picked up Mario. 
"It took a lot of Lucas's strength to get us back here and in one piece." Said Mario, 
When they got the the medical center David had put Lucas down and tucked him in. While Ritchie had put Mario down and was getting medical supplies and where patching Lucas up. 

Two hours later Lucas had woken up and he saw both David and Plant as well he saw Mario in the bed next to him, he looked back at David and Plant. 
"Hi, David and Plant." Said Lucas, 
"DAD?!" Shouted Plant happy and jumping up and down on a once sleeping David, 
"Mm?" Asked David opening his eyes. 
"Papa is awake." Said Plant, 
Then David opened his eyes and saw that Lucas was awake. 
"You good Lucas?" Asked David, 
"I used a bit to much energy and I did have to carry Mario all the way back here. While on our way back we both started to get a bit hungry so, we went to the lake near here I guess and I used some of my magic and court some fish. So, we ate the fish. While I was searching  for Mario I found a cave and when I found Mario we took shelter it in a cave. When we got to the cave we cuddled and it was actually kinda nice though." Said Lucas, 
"Kinda nice? So, does that mean Mario?" Asked David, 
"Yes why?" Asked Lucas, 
"I was correct I knew you had a crush on him and both Ritchie and Brandon said that you didn't." Said David, 
"Did you guess? And please Plant and David don't tell him...I will when I'm ready." Said Lucas, 
"How long have you liked him for?" Asked David, 
"About a three months." Said Lucas, 
"So, how long have you both been a thing?" Asked David, 
"How do you know that? And we  have been dating for about one month." Said Lucas, 
"Bryan on accident I think." Said David, 
"Okay." Said Lucas, 
"Oh...yea Brandon and Ritchie know." Said David, 
"How?" Asked Lucas, 
"Bryan and LoPho." Said David, 
"Who told who?" Asked Lucas, 
"Bryan told LoPho and LoPho told both of the brother's." Said David, 
"Why? Now we are properly going to get asked why we didn't inform them on our relationship." Said Lucas, 
"Yea." Said David, 
"We both weren't ready to tell everyone else." Said Lucas, 
"I understand." Said David, 
"Thanks." Said Lucas, 
"No problem, now I'm going to let you both rest." Said David, 
"Thanks." Said Lucas, 
"No problem, come on Plant let's leave Papa to rest." Said David, 
"Okay dad, bye papa." Said Plant, 
"Bye Plant, I love you." Said Lucas, 
"Plant loves you to." Said Plant, 
"Aw." Said David and Lucas,
"Bye Lucas." Said David, 
"Bye David." Said Lucas. 

Then both David and Plant left and Lucas went back to sleep.
