"Y/n!!" Y/n turned quickly. The tone of voice made her fear something. Yaoyorozu quickly grabbed Y/n's hand and ran to the dressing rooms. "M-Momo? What's going on?" Y/n asked as she ran with her classmate. "We have to put on a uniform. They're directions from Mr. Aizawa! We have to be quick!" She answered. They walked into the waiting room. Y/n imagined another P.E uniform for those who made it to the final game. Once she saw all the other girls and the uniform she was "required" to wear, her soul left her body.
"Here, this one is your's." Momo handed her a neatly folded cheerleader uniform. She put it on and realized that it was a bit too small, and wasn't the perfect size like the other girl's. "This is a bit small..." Y/n said as she held onto the bottom of her skirt. "Sorry, you weren't here and so I guessed your clothing size. Let me make you another one-"
"No! No! It's fine! I didn't realize you used Creation. I don't need a new one, save your quirk for your round, please." Y/n said. Momo nodded. The girls grabbed their Pom-poms and walked out to the field.
Once they got out there, they heard Preseng Mic announce "It looks like the girls of class 1-A are doing a little cheer before this next game!" And that's when they realized....Mr. Aizawa didn't give those directions. All the girls just stood there, looking dead inside. "Why did I let those little perverts fool me like this..?" Momo sank to the ground and look gloomy. Y/n and Ochaco kneeled down and supported her. "We'll make them pay somehow, don't worry."
"But vengeance isn't always the answer-"
"If it's a little silly thing, I think it'll be fine, right?"
Momo smiled. "Maybe...I do like the sound of making them pay for this..." She admitted. Y/n smiled and patted her shoulder.

Y/n and Shoto were sitting next to each other, watching the first round of the third game. Y/n decided to not disguise her quirk, despite Aito telling her that she should. What he feared were students from other schools having the advantage of knowing her quirk and her not knowing their's. She thought it would be better that way, though.
The first round has ended, the victor being Deku. Y/n didn't pay a lot of attention to that round, though she should have since Deku could be a possible opponent. Deku was more of a close-combat type of fighter. However, he could punch away attacks that are long-distant, which Y/n didn't need to worry about. There was nothing he could punch or flick away.
"I'm going to the player waiting room, I'll see you soon, okay?" Shoto stood up and placed his hand gently on Y/n's shoulders as he spoke to her. "Okay! I'll be cheering for you." Y/n smiled at him. Shoto smiled back at her and walked away.
"You have to challenge Todoroki if you win your first two, right? I'm excited to see that! I wonder who will win?" Ochaco leaned next to Y/n from her seat in the row behind Y/n. "Mhm! I'm sure Todoroki will win, but maybe things changed." Y/n turned to the pink-cheeked girl and smiled. "Oh, have you guys fought before? By the sounds of it, you have."
"Mhm, recently actually. He won both times."
"Was there some motivation behind it or was it just to see who was stronger??" Ochaco was curious, and she wanted to know more about it. It intrigued her that they both had double quirks that were powerful when put together, and she's always wondered about a fight between the two. "Just to see who's stronger."
"Enough with the chit-chat! This round is about to begin, and we might see how powerful Todoroki is!!" Mina wrapped her arms around the two girls. "I don't mean to offend him, but Sero using his quirk against him doesn't require Todoroki to do anything big or flashy." Tsu popped into the conversation, her tongue cutely peaking out in the corner of her mouth.
"Ribbit."
"Ahh, that's true." Mina said disappointingly. She drooped into her seat, and Ochaco sat down four seats away from her. Momo and Kyoka both took their seats and looked down at the empty field. "Hey, Yao-Momo, Jiro, who do you think would win in a fight? Y/n or Todoroki?" Mina leaned forward to look at them. Momo furrowed her eyebrows and placed her knuckle under her lower-lip. "I've never actually thought of that, and I don't have a for-sure answer. They're both very strong...so maybe a tie?"
"That's tough to answer, and now I really want to know."
"Hopefully we will get to see it in this year's festival." Iida's voice came into the conversation.
"I'm on Team L/n." Mina said. "So am I." Tokoyami said from a few rows behind. "Yeah, I have a feeling L/n would win in that situation." Jiro said. "What? Todoroki would totally win that fight!" Kaminari argued against Mina. Ochaco and Tsu nodded. "No offense, L/n. Ribbit."
"I agree with Yaoyorozu. I think it would end in a tie." Yaoyorzu looked at Iida after hearing him say her name. "What about you, Bakugo? Who do you think would win?" Eijiro turned to the blond next to him. "L/n. She's strong, I never did doubt that after seeing what she could do. Along with strength, she also has quick thinking and takes in and considers her surroundings, which are traits that could assist her in becoming a good hero." Bakugo had his arms crossed and eyes closed, seeming like he was resting.
"Aw, thank you. That was sweet of you to say, Bakugo." Y/n intertwined her two hands and smiled at Bakugo. "Especially when I'm worried about—"
"SHUT UP, YOU DAMN EEL! I SAID IT BECAUSE IT'S THE TRUTH, NOT TO HELP WITH YOUR GODDAM WORRIES!!!" He yelled in her face.
"Dang okay, sorry." Y/n crossed her arms and looked to the field. Shoto and Sero were walking out.
"From the Hero Coarse: Hanta Sero!" Present Mix introduced him. Sero had a confident smile as he stretched, even if he knew very well that he couldn't win this.
"Also from the Hero Coarse: Shoto Todoroki!" Shoto stood straight, unmoving and expressionless. Just staring at Sero and waiting for it to start.
Deku ran back quickly, his shoes screeching against the floor. "Yes! I got here just in time!" He took his seat next to Ochaco, spectating and taking in every second of it, even if it hasn't started yet.
"BEGINN!"
Predicting the outcome was simple, and nearly everyone knew that Todoroki would win this one. Still, in case of a surprise, they all watched very closely. Sero had said something to him before using his tape as a lasso and capturing the bi-colored male. He swung him towards the out-of-bounds line, and was seemingly confident that he could win this.
With Y/n's quick reactions, she jumped to her right and grabbed both Eijiro and Bakugo by the collar of their blue uniforms and brought them down to the floor with her. Bakugo landed on his back beside her, and Eijiro fell on top of her. He looked at Y/n then at Bakugo, seeing that they both had the same expression: shock. He moved off Y/n to look up and saw ice that would've frozen them into their seats for who knows how long.
"A bit too much for just Sero, right?" Y/n laid there, staring at the ice. She didn't think he could do that much with just his right. Maybe their match will be more challenging than expected...
"Aha, yeah.." Eijiro wore the same expression as the other two.
"Tch." There was a hint of worry on Bakugo's face.
"Hey!! Are you guys okay over there?" It was Ochaco's voice, but muffled. "You two are okay, right?" Y/n asked. They both said they were.
"We're okay!" Y/n yelled so Ochaco can hear. "What was that?"
"We're okay!!"
"Good! Iida just went to go get someone to get you out."
"Or I could get us out..." Bakugo said and raised his hand.
"I don't think that's a good—!"
There was an explosion under the ice, and pieces flew and scattered across the seats. After that, Iida and some UA teachers arrived and saw that Y/n, Eijiro, and Bakugo were okay, but Eijiro and Y/n's hair had been messy and turned black in some places. "Thanks, Bakugo, but I think we should have waited for the teachers...I'm gonna go wash up and change my uniform." Y/n said and walked away towards the locker-rooms and showers.
As she washed her hair, she remembered how big that blast of ice was. She had heavily underestimated Shoto, and now she doubted that she could put up a decent fight against him. It seemed like Bakugo felt the same...
Does she even have a move that could be the equivalent of that? She didn't know, and she felt like she'll disappoint the classmates who believed she could beat Shoto. If she can't put up a decent fight against Shoto, she'll disappoint her dad. He'll no long be proud of her. She'll fail. She's never doubted her abilities like this before; she's always been praised. She can't fail, but she will.
That feeling of disappointment and anxiety took over and she started to quietly cry while hanging her head under the water.
