It's funny how people with power believe they can control everything but ignore the truth until it's too late. Fate is such a funny yet scary thing. We cannot predict the definite path we walk, nor what time we will pass nor how.
I knew this and came to accept it at quite a young age but all those around me couldn't quite grasp it.
Some of them were the same age as me.
Some of them were very much older than me.
And one of them was someone who believed to have bested death.
Well, that doesn't mean you've bested fate.
