CHAPTER 9: NIGHT TALKS
ALY'S POV
Well I guess Anita told her everything about how I helped her. In a way accha hi kiya Anita ne Jasmin ko sab kuch sach sach bata diya hai kiyoon ki main nahi chahta hoon ki Jasmin mere bare mein bilkul bhi galat soche. She looked so guilty when apologising to me and I was just smiling in the inside. I said it was okay and I let go of it. Kuch der baad we reached her house aur mein shocked hogaya tha jab usne mujhe pucha ki kiya mein usse dosti karna chahta hoon. I didn't wait a moment nor did I want to waste a second so I instantly said that yes I want to be her friend. Suddenly she had an outburst and started to thank me with a long list of all the things I did for her. I mean I did all of this to get rid of my guilt. I couldn't hold it but I started to laugh at her cuteness. She also started to smile and then started to laugh. I slowly stopped laughing and smiled while seeing her being happy and laughing. She looked the cutest with that smile and OUF that dimple just kills me each time. She then started to leave and I was wondering how would I stay in touch with her. I felt nervous but then I put the window down and called her. She turned around and then I bravely asked her for her phone number. She smiled and then turned back around and started to walk towards her house again. I thought maybe that was too much so I thought that I should instead ask for her social media id. I then asked for her Instagram username but she continued walking and then I asked for her Snapchat but again she didn't respond nor did she turn around. I then looked down hopelessly. After a few seconds she turned around and shouted her instagram id and then told me to message her so that she can send me her phone number. I looked up to her and she smiled at me so I gave her a smile back and then drove off home all satisfied.
JASMIN'S POV
Aly is a nice guy. Mein hi kitni badi duffer thi joh iske bare mein itna galat socha. I mean who is even this nice to think about others like that? Anita was right, he is an angel. I didn't waste a second and asked him if he wanted to be my friend. I wasn't sure if he would want to be my friend after me insulting him but I was so glad when he accepted my friendship. I always want to surround myself with good people and I guess Aly was one of them. He started to laugh because I started to thank him for everything aur usko dekhte huwe mein bhi hasne lagi thi. When I got out of the car and started to walk towards my house I heard him scream "MISS BHASIN". I then turned around and asked him what happened. He asked me for my phone number. I mean of course I had to give it to him or else how was I supposed to communicate with him but then I thought of teasing him a bit at first so I turned around and started to walk. He then asked for my Instagram id and then my Snapchat id. I thought it was enough so I turned around and gave him my Instagram id and told him to message me there so that I can send him my phone number. I smiled at him and he gave me a pleasant smile and drove away,
Jasmin opened the door and then went straight to her room. She took a shower and then relaxed for a bit. By the time she was done resting, it was around 10pm and her mum called her downstairs for dinner. She had dinner and then went back to her room.
JASMIN (in her mind)- Isne mujhe abhi tak message kiyoon nahi kiya hai? (Dekho to Jas kitni utavla ho rahi hai Aly se baat karne ke liye )
Just then Disha facetimed her.
DISHA- Tu ghar kab ayi?
JASMIN- Around 7pm
DISHA- 7pm??? Jas tu itni late kiske saath thi? Upar se tu bina bole lecture half way chod kar chali gayi thi.
JASMIN- Are babu relax. Kaal college mein tujhe saab kuch bataungi.
DISHA- YOU BETTER.
JASMIN- Tu apni bakwaas band kar aur Ronit bhai kaha hai?
DISHA- Yaha hai, yeh le baat kar.
JASMIN- Are Ronit bhai kese ho aap?
RONIT- JASMINNNNNNN kesi hai tu? Itne saal hogaye hai yaar. Mein theek hoon tu bata.
JASMIN- Mein to first class hoon aur exactly 1 year and 8 months hogaye hai when I saw you the last time.
RONIT- Tu bata kaab arahi hai tu humare ghar?
JASMIN- Pehle aab batao kitne time ke liye aye ho?
RONIT- Tere liye ek surprise hai.
DISHA- JASMINNNN BOHOT ACCHI WALI SURPRISE HAI.
JASMIN- SACCHI??? KIYA SURPRISE???
RONIT- Jis din tu ayegi uss din tujhe bataungi. Aur Disha tujhe kuch nahi batane wali. Right Disha?
DISHA- Absolutely bhai.
JASMIN- Bhai this is not fair now.
Meanwhile in Aly's house
Aly goes home all happy and smiling.
ALY'S MUM- Agaya mera baccha.
ALY- Ji mumma.
ILHAM- Weseh Aly tu aaj itna khush kiyoon dikh raha hai? Koi ladki mil gayi hai kiya?
ALY(in his mind)- Oh shit! Ab kiya bolun? Aly you need to stop smiling or else you are going to get yourself in trouble.
ILHAM (shaking Aly's hand)- Aly bol. Kaha kho gaya hai?
ALY- Areh Ilham kuch nahi bas aaj ek deal final hogayi hai iss liye I am happy.
ILHAM- Areh wah. Congrats bro.
ALY- Thanks. Okay mein upar jakar fresh hoke ata hoon.
Aly goes upstairs and changes to comfortable clothes. He then goes downstairs and has long talks with his family. It was about 9pm by then.
ALY'S MUM- Accha mein jakar dekhti hoon dinner bana hai ya nahi.
ILHAM- Ha mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai. (Jasmin ki aatma Ilham ke andar?😦)
After 10mins they all go and eat and talk for a bit. By the time all this is done, it was about 10pm.
ALY- Oh shit. It's 10pm. I should message her.
Aly then gets his phone, searches Jasmin's instagram profile and then stalked her profile for a bit😂 and then messaged her.
ALY- Hey Miss Bhasin.
Meanwhile in Jasmin's house
Jasmin receives the message.
JASMIN- Accha guys I will talk to you guys later I have to talk to someone right now.
DISHA&RONIT- Okay BYE.
She then cuts the call and goes on Instagram. (Waha par agar aap thode Jasly pics post kar dete toh bohot meherbani hojati)
JASMIN- Hello Mr Goni. Finally meri yaad agayi aapko?🙄
ALY- Are nahi I was just a bit busy with family 😛
JASMIN- Wese tum hare ghar mein kon kon hai?
ALY- Mere ghar mein bohot log hai. Agar janna hai toh phir send me your number.
JASMIN- Okay sir.
She then sends him her number and Aly calls her. Jasmin picks the call up.
JASMIN- Ji boliya ab.
ALY- Wese mere ghar mein meri mum, dad, sister and brother in law rehte hai. Aur alot of time extended family members bhi ate hai humare ghar mein.
JASMIN- Didi ki koi child nahi hai?
ALY- Child? You mean children aur woh be triplets.
JASMIN- WHAT? TRIPLETS? THAT'S SO COOL. Kitne saal ke hai?
ALY- They are going to be 2 years old in August.
JASMIN- WOW. Matlab abhi bhi chote bacche hain aur August meaning in another 2 months. ALYYY I WANT TO MEET THEM.
ALY- Yes yes. Zaroor milaungi tumhe unke saath.
JASMIN- Leken kab?
ALY- Very soon. (Ab aap log dekhlo itni soon)
ALY- Tum hare ghar mein kon kon rehta hai?
JASMIN- Meri mumma, papa, dadi, uncle, aunty, cousins and meri nieces and nephews.
ALY- Tum hara pura khandan rehta hai kiya tum hare saath?
JASMIN- Yup.
ALY- Don't you have any siblings?
JASMIN- Hai na. Mera chota bhai leken woh bahar London mein study karta hai.
ALY- Oh I get it.
JASMIN- I forgot to ask you. How old are you?😂
ALY- Jitna bhi hoon, tumse bada hoon.
JASMIN- Ahahahahaha ALY STOP BEING IRRITATING AND TELL ME.
ALY (while laughing)- Accha theek hai. I am 29 years old. Aur tum?
JASMIN- You were right. I am 27.
ALY- Dekha. Mene bola tha na. Are you free tomorrow?
JASMIN- Erm wait lemme check my schedule...(she then checks her timetable) Well I got a lecture till 12pm and after that I am free.
ALY- Great then. I got a plan.
JASMIN- I am in already cuz I don't have anything to do tomorrow anyways.
ALY- Sun to loh pehle.
JASMIN- Ji boliye.
ALY- We will go to the new shopping mall that's like 20mins away from your university and then we will do some shopping, watch a movie cuz they have cinemas there and then eat something and come back. Sounds good?
JASMIN- Sounds great to me.
Like this they had general conversations till 11pm and then they ended the call and slept.
