Will You be My Date? (Amity x Reader)

It was now only a few days till Grom and despite the twins' best efforts I was yet to ask Amity anything about it. I was strolling through the halls of Hexside thinking about the green haired witch and how awesome it would be to be her date to Grom. It's not the fear that she doesn't like girls that's stopping me from asking, according to Em and Ed Amity is lesbian and everyone in school knows that I'm not exactly straight myself. It's more the fact that she's just so smart and pretty and talented and... Jesus Christ I'm so gay for her. I need to do it, I need to ask her.

I had made up my mind and I was now on my way to where I knew Amity's locker was. I was so focused on not chickening out that I accidentally bumped into someone, knocking both of us over in the process.

'Oof' I hear the person say.

'I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. Let me help you' I said quickly, offering the person my hand before realising that I had bumped into none other than Amity.

'I-It's fine (Y/N) I wasn't really watching where I was going either' she replied, taking my hand.

After I pull her up we stand there for a second just looking at each other's eyes. It was really nice but then I realised what was going on and I panicked just a little bit.

'Here let me help you pick up your stuff' I offered, bending down to grab her books. She didn't really respond, only nodding slightly so I was worried that I weirded her out a bit before. 'There you go' I nervously say as I pass her back her books.

'T-thanks' she quickly says before taking her books and rushing around the corner.

I wave goodbye as she leaves before mentally scolding myself for letting her leave without talking to her about Grom. I look down at the ground and notice a small, pink note sitting there. My curiosity gets the better of me and I pick up the note and read it.

As I read the note I can feel my face heat up and after I finish it I can't help but smile.

I shove the note into my pocket and rush towards the Blight manor.

I knock on the door of the oversized house and am greeted by Edric.

'Oh hey (Y/N), what's up?' He asks politely.

'Hey Ed, do you know where Amity is?'

'Uh yeah I'm pretty sure that she's at the library. Y'know her little hide away area'

'Yeah I know the spot, thanks Ed!' I say before running off to the library.

'Good luck!' I hear him call out.

I entered the library and made my way to the section that holds Amity's 'secret' area. I see that the door is already open and I poke my head in and see her sitting at her desk writing in some random book. I decided to make my presence known by knocking on the door frame. Amity jumps a little at the sudden noise.

'Ah (Y-Y/N) what're you doing here?'

'I came for two reasons. One because I found something of yours and two I wanted to ask you a question'

'Ok?' She says a little confused. 'What'd you find?'

'This' I say as I pull the note out of my pocket. I see her face go as red as a tomato when she realises what it was.

'I-I can explain' she stutters.

'After I ask you my question' I say which she only nods to. 'Miss Amity Blight, will you be my date to Grom?' I ask with a smile while doing a goofy bow.

'I would love to be your date (Y/N)' she responds.

'Awwwwww!' Amity and I hear from the doorway.

'Our little Mittens and (N/N) are going to Grom together' Emira cooed.

'We're so proud of you' Edric added on.

'If you two make one more comment, I'm setting you both on Fire' I grumble and Amity laughs.

'So cute!' the twins say.

'That's it!' I say as I summon a fire spell.

'Ok, ok! We take it back!' They scream as I chase them out of the library.

Breaking news: I still exist and I'm still writing trashy fanfics

I know that you almost definitely don't care but I may or may not have lost all motivation to write for a little bit. So I haven't been updating.

I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so soooooo sorry for taking this long to update but better late then never.... right?
