|Chapter fifty nine : Death|

Start from the beginning

"I- no?-"

"You tried to get me to move to Gryffindor you bastard! I'm happy in my house yet you still can't accept that!" I shouted at her as I clenched my fists and lunged at her as I was drawn back, getting picked up and dragged away as I hit my arms against Nathan

"Let go"

"No- I knew this would happen again at one point"

"Do you blame me?!" I asked loudly as I was dragged inside and into the living room, getting sat between him and Adam as I crossed my arms over my chest with a scowl, Ali shuffling along the floor in front of me as Adam appeared in my line of sight

"Hello"

"Hm"

"Am I only going to get hums for replies now?" He asked as I looked to him and stayed silent, not breaking eye contact as we continued to stare at each other blankly as he took his glasses off after a couple of minutes, cleaning them on his shorts before pushing them back up his nose slowly, still keeping eye contact as a smile broke out on my face and I started laughing as a grin got the better of him

"Easy"

"Fuck off"

"I could've done that"

"No-"

"Yes-"

"No-"

"Nathan, agree with me-"

"No" Nathan told Ali as a smile grew on my face and I looked at Nathan, leaning over as I picked up the simple black cord that was around his neck, looking at the small silver stud on it

"What is it?"

"It looks like a choker, just looser. It's nice though-"

"I'm telling you, no. You couldn't have of. You don't have glasses henceforth you couldn't have of-"

"Did you use 'henceforth' correctly there?"

"I don't have a clue. I'll just say yes-"

"Are you three incapable of dressing yourselves"

"We've got shorts on, that's good enough-"

"Or as Ali likes to say 'covering our dignity'"

"Ali- you don't have any dignity" I mumbled as I laid down, resting my head on Nathan's lap as the two started laughing and I turned my head smiling, him sitting there amused as I blew him a kiss

"You're far too thin"

"You're all hypocrites"

"But you're not meant to be that-"

"I can look however I want I'll have you know"

"And that is why we don't argue with you because your answers are too sophisticated"

"How was that sophisticated?"

"Why do people associate me with sophistication?" I asked quietly, vividly remembering times in the common room as I laughed quietly to myself and felt my hair getting combed through as I turned my head slightly and looked at Nathan who sat there with a small grin

"Are you actually playing with my hair?"

"Yes I am. Why do you always wear it up?"

"It's easier to handle"

"I'll take your word for it-"

"Amelia?!"

"Ugh, who's that?"

"That's probably Jayden" he told me quietly as I looked to the door where Jayden was standing

"Yeah?"

"There's someone here for you"

"Height?"

"He's about the same height as you, he has a bag-"

"That's Blaise!" I said loudly as I jumped up, running from the living room and to the room opposite where sure enough Blaise was standing as I ran at him, hugging him tightly with a laugh

"Oh thank god! At least I don't have to deal with Holly by myself. How did you know where I was? Like, the address-? Blaise? Blaise what's wrong?" I asked quietly after looking up at him slightly as he looked at me with a small smile, his eyes glazed over as I stepped back

"What happened?"

"I had to get out of there, my mother's driving me crazy-"

"Stay here as long as you want or need. You'll like it here, you'll be fine, you'll have me"

"I can't stay longer than a week"

"You'll be welcome too"
