Chapter 44 : Confrontation

It was morning and nishikata and takagi were ready they had plan to spend the day in the city and then go to the concert at night

Nishikata : (he had calmed down admittedly not much but he was better than yesterday) where do you wanna go today? 

Takagi : I thought since you had planned everything you'd have this planned as well

Nishikata : well… I don't so now what? 

Takagi : we have the whole day ( she held his hand again) let's make the best of it

Nishikata : oh yeah but I have to go somewhere in between so we also need to remember that… 

Takagi : you wanna go somewhere? 

Nishikata : it won't take long and I'll prefer to go alone… Though all you have to do is ask.. 

Takagi : got it lets explore the city until then.. 

They began walking around the city exploring shops and just generally having fun 

Takagi : ( tugging him along with her) let's check out the store! 

Nishikata : (I hate shopping with every fibre of my being though…) ( he looked at his watch) we have 6 hours before the concert… 

Takagi : that watch looks cool 

Nishikata : it was my birthday gift from shuichi, I know it looks really cool 

Takagi : how come you don't wear it so often? I mean it's obvious you like it 

Nishikata : I and shuichi belong to the single brain cell squad when it comes to clothes and shopping and fashion sense and all the rest… So I don't know if this looks good or not… It just became too troublesome to wear… 

Takagi : ( she stepped back and took a look at him) you look excellent in suits though.. 

Nishikata : ( he blushed ) that's just because they are in sets I don't have to choose… 

Takagi : what about your outfits.. 

Nishikata : well… I have some clothes which were the birthday gifts from suika and I only wear the sets she chose for me… So Again no choice other what set to wear… I literally switch between 3 pairs of clothes for casual unlike you who seems to have clothes for every occasion…. 

Takagi : ( let pulled him along) let's choose some clothes for you 

Nishikata : oh hell no I hate clothes shopping….. 

Takagi : aww cmon it'll be fun 

Nishikata : for you or for me? 

Takagi : if that's what you're worried about then I promise I won't tease you for the rest of today, fine? 

Nishikata : ( I can't really refuse now..) ok fine… 

Takagi dragged him into the store and started picking out clothes for him 

Takagi : ( she carefully looked at the clothes and chose some) take these and try them on 

Nishikata : ( he had given up) yes Ma'am… 

Takagi : ( she chuckled as he went into the changing room) ( I brought some money with me too maybe I'll get some too) 

Nishikata came back with his clothes changed 

Takagi : Hmmm…. 

Nishikata : what? 

Takagi : nah this doesn't suit you ( she handed him another pair) try these now
