This story takes place after the summer festival and picks up in the final days of nishikata's and takagi's eventful summer, but there is a secret nishikata's hiding from her, what will happen when the secret is unleashed

Nishikata looked at disbelief at the girl who stood before him
Nishikata : what in the actual.......
Takagi : (she looked like she would start crying) ..... I missed the train.... All I have is my phone.... (even all of my luggage)
Nishikata : you know what I don't wanna know how you managed to miss it, the next train is gonna be in 2 days.... What I wanna know is what the heck am I supposed to do now
Takagi : ( almost crying) let's just go back to shuichi-san.... I'm sure he can think of something...
Nishikata : don't cry, it's gonna be ok (trying to reassure her) but seriously how did you manage to miss it...
Takagi : I got caught up in the crowd
Nishikata : let's just go back to the hotel... ( he noticed that takagi was walking slower so he grabbed her hand) if you don't keep up we'll be separated.... So let's hurry
Takagi : ( holding hands doesn't seem that big after their kiss, but even though nishikata seemed unaffected,to his obliviousness takagi was having mild butterflies in her stomach everytime she did something slightly romantic with him) (God I need to get a hold of myself) I'll just text my parents and explain the situation...
After explaining the situation to her parents nishikata and takagi headed to the hotel but on the way it started raining and by the time they reached back to the hotel they were soaked
Suika: Takagi-chan?! What are you doing here?
Takagi : I missed the train...
Shuichi : nevermind that, you two need to change your clothes,
Takagi : but I don't have any clothes.... All of my luggage is back on the train
Suika : yuki, you have some spares right?
Nishikata : well yes, but they will be a little bit big for her
Takagi : something is better than nothing.......
Nishikata and takagi head to the hotel room and nishikata opens his suitcase, takagi heads into the bathroom to change
Nishikata : (this is a weird turn of events, now she is a part of our extended family vacation)
Takagi : ( steps out of the bathroom in a black hoodie that is too big for her)
