Use all your senses
But sensing the senseless
Is sensitive in essence.
Society brainwashes
The defenseless
Youth from innocence
With mentions of inattention
Selling conscripted conscience
Coercing consequences
Tipping the fences
Abstracting the lessons
And blurring the lenses
So the vague tenses
Of right and wrong are presented
In absolutes and obsession
When reality gives contentions
In chances and questions.
It's all dollars and cents to them -
Fuck the resentment.
