Let's pretend we parted our ways in the end
Let's pretend we harbored no daydreams or plans
That all we had meant, we'd accomplished and spent

Don't ever come looking, my friends
Don't wonder where I might've been
Just go on as if we'd parted instead
Go on without worrying why I went
Or what I could be doing over there

It was good to know you at best
