Religion is a product of the culture that created it,
But while cultures evolve and change,
Religion wants to stay the same.
It claims: tradition! tradition!
And when culture becomes outdated,
And new traditions are made,
Religion wants to stay the same.
It exclaims: tradition! tradition!
And while religion was brave when it was first made,
It fears the concept of change.
Religion wants to remain the same.
It proclaims: tradition! tradition!
And even when religion becomes noigiler in plain,
And even when it holds back the brave,
Religion wants to remain the same.
It misclaims: tradition! tradition!
Religion is a product of the culture that created it,
But when cultures evolve and change,
Religion wants to stay the same.
