Poetry is four things:
Meter and rhythm,
A rhyme scheme,
Repetition and patterns,
and
A construction that
Influences interpretations. There needs to be at least
one of these
to be dubbed poetry. If it has none,
then it is not.
It could be prose,
or it could not.
But if it is neither,
then it may be
some new form.Call it porple, but not purple.
'Cause that's already a color.
Porple.
Because we need another
slant rhyme for purple.
