Chapter 8: Wardell

Steph pov.
Oh wow. Me and ishibo almost kissed. Ugh and we would've if it weren't for fucking Diana. What is it to her wat we do.
"Alright you horrible lot. Gather around." Coach called us to the middle of the gym. We all awkwardly walked there not daring to say anything in hopes of making the situation even more uncomfortable. "I know it's only been 10 mins but I wanted to see if the mentors are really helping"coach said
"Well Stephen is certainly helping Ayesha" Dray mumbled
"What was that" coach asked
"Oh Dray was just saying how he and Sophie would love to demonstrate the true meaning of being the mentor. Isn't that right Dray." Aisha in a sickly sweet tone. Oh I see what she's doing.
"W-What n..."
"Oh Don't be shy Dray we all know you've been preparing this for ages" I added following along with ishibo pushing him and Sophie to the middle of the class.
"We'll go on then" coach said
"Uumm" Sophie said. The scene was absolutely horrible and hilarious at the same time. The managed to put together stupid skit about a girl who gave up and a boy who helps her. I swear they sounded like a lifeless robot. Once they finished half the class slowly clapped and the other half were stifling a laugh including me and ishibo
"Well that was interesting" coach said shaking her head. "Anyway get into a group of 6 and do some simple drills" coach said walking away. Obviously we all gravitated towards each other. "Why the fuck did you do that?" Dray and Sophie asked me and ishibo
"Oh you're right we should have filmed it" Ayesha said emphasising the world 'filmed it'
"Touché" Sophie said
"But it was Diana who actually filmed it " klay added as Diana slapped him on the shoulder

"You and Ayesha being all over each other and almost kissing" Diana said
"Ssshhh" me and ishibo" said at the same time
" hey sorry to disturb but can Chris join your group." Coach said pleadingly. We all stared at each other. "K thanks" and with that said coach walked away leaving Chris behind.
Ayesha pov.

Uugh why the hell do we have to take him into our group. Steph just glared at him. "Well where were we" klay said
"You were telling us about that rash on your ass" Steph said. We all burst out laughing except Chris. Even Klay chuckled a bit. "Ok start with some stretches " coach shouted. We started with putting one arm over our head and stretching. I couldn't help but notice how Steph's arm flexes and shows his perfect biceps and how his tank top lifts up slightly showing off his abs. This was giving me wayyyyy to many bad thoughts. He looks soo hot right now. What I just called Stephen Curry hot. Me calling him hot. Wow.
I shook my head and stood up straight. "Aawww I was enjoying the view" Chris said
"What the fuck you perv" I said
"Dude did you not learn from yesterday" Steph said pissed off
"What? She is fine. Don't tell me you wouldn't hit that" he said gesturing towards me
" just do us all a favour and fuck off" klay said
"Oh I get it. You two are a thing" Chris said pointing between me and Steph
"W-w-What n-no" I stuttered why the fuck am I stuttering.
"Mm hmm"
"Can you just go before I kick you in the balls this time" I sighed
He just walked away. "Now do some sit-ups with your mentor holding you down then in 10 minutes swap over." Coach said.
"Could you go first" I asked Steph
"Sure" he said. I held him down as he did some sit-ups
"Come on Warde-" I stopped myself before I said it

3rd person pov.
Steph's full name is Wardell Stephen Curry but he doesn't let anyone know that. Not because he is embarrassed by the name it is just that he fails to mention it. Then it never comes up. Only Ayesha knows about it and when she calls him it he low-key gets turned on. But only when she says it. This effect happened just after he hit puberty. So he forbade her from saying it. She never asked why just agreed.
