It was one year ago today that Peril lost her egg. But today was a new day, today she had three eggs. Peril was sure the eggs would hatch today, and if that was the case, so be it.

(Sunny POV)
Sunny was sprinting around the halls, and hugging her messenger.
"Oh, I can't wait to see the dragonets"!
Queen Thorn came beside her,
"When will you be leaving"?
Sunny smiled at her,
"Oh soon, but I want to bring Clay and Peril a gift, and the dragonets of course, after all it is there hatching day".
Queen Thorn smiled,
"Well, why don't we look in treasurerary".
Sunny nodded falling her mother down the hall.

(Lynx POV)
"Winter, calm down",
Winter had been pacing all mourning,
"Calm down?! Lynx how can you say that"?!
Lynx sighed,
"Winter, I say that, because I want you to calm down".
Winter rolled his eyes,
"Winter, don't you dare roll your eyes at me". Lynx narrowed her eyes, having alittle staring contest with Winter.
"Look, Winter, I understand why your worried. We have an egg, and your worried about it. But you need to act like a good father right now, and wait",
Winter snarled,
"I am a good father, how about you be a good mother".
Lynx yawned,
"Look, Winter I think you need some sleep, speaking of sleep, I could go for some sleep too".
Winter nodded, almost nodding off.
"No, about you go-and stuff a scavenger up your snout"! Winter yelped back.
Lynx giggled,
"Winter, why don't you just go to sleep".
Winter nodded, this time he fell asleep,
Lynx smiled.
"Oh my little prince, your so adorable when your sleepy".
Winter nodded,
"And your adorable too when you stuff a scavenger about your snout".
Lynx smirked,
"Oh Winter", she kissed him on the cheek.
She then led him to there cave, letting him lay down and fall asleep.
Lynx returned to their egg, which was now cracked, she smiled in delight.
"Winter, come quick".

(Glory POV)
Glory was going insane, she had to improve of so many things before she could go to her hut and see her egg.
Sure Deathbringer would go and check now an then on it. But it still wasn't the same, she was the mother, so it was her responsibility to care for it, right? Deathbringer had told her she didn't have to go throught this alone, after all he was her husband.
But that didn't deny the fact that she already loved the little dragonet inside, even if it hasn't even hatched.

(Moon POV)
There was a thousand things that could go wrong, the egg could crack, or get stolen or die. Moon knew going throught all the visions of the egg were risky but she had to know any possibly fate this dragonet would have.
Qibli hugged Moon kissing her on the cheek,
"Have you found out when it's going to hatch"?
Moon nodded,
"Yes, tonight, under the blood moon".
Qibli smiled.
"Wow, just think, tonight we'll be parents", Moon froze,
"Yeah, parents".

(Starflight POV)
Starflight was lead into the treasury even throught he couldn't see he could still feel the warm heat of Sunnys scales,
"Starflight", Sunny screamed running up to him and kissing him on the cheek,
Starflight blushed.
"You made it", Starflight nodded, well opening his wing, holding a black and gold egg,
"Of course I did". Sunny smiled, she carefully picked the egg up, rocking it in her arms,
"Oh who's a pretty prince, yes, you are", Sunny loved cueing her egg, uasually other dragonets hated it when she would cue at them, but this egg could do nothing to stop her.
"How do you know it's going to be a male", Starflight asked,
"Just a feeling", Sunny placed the egg into Starflights talons, Starflight sighed.
"Sunny, I know this is about the hundredth time I've asked but, what does he look like". Sunny smiled, she placed her palm on Stareflights cheek,
"He's the most gorgeous color of gold, and he has your color of dark black, he's perfect". A single tear ran down Starflights cheek,
"It-it's perfect"? Sunny smiled,
"Yes, it's perfect", Sunny hugged him, still making sure not to crush the egg.
Thorn came up to Starflight putting her hand on his shoulder, showing him she was there, Starflight smiled.
"You'll be a wonderful father". Sunny hugged her mom.
