(Amber POV)
Amber glided towards the sky kingdom,
After what had happened with Serpent, Queen Glory had said, if he was willing to voluntarily do that to his face, then there was no stopping the five, so they had left that night,
Amber played with her talons, her friends had done so much for her, Serpent had been willing to die, Leopard had been willing to go off and find her when she got kidnapped, Redwood had tried to talk back to his mother (which was definitely a challenge) and Sparrow had left his own home to help her, how could she ever repay them?
Leopard snapped Amber out of her thoughts, as she smirked at her, Amber tensed up, she knew exactly what she was going to say.
"So, you and Serpent a thing yet?" She laughed,
"No...maybe, I don't know." She said the last part softly enough so onlyLeopard could hear,
"Go ask Serpent." She growled,
"I did. He said to ask you." Leopard said, Amber gave Serpent a glare,
"I-I don't know Leopard, maybe, just leave it on that, okay?" Amber said, Leopard sighed,
"And, I could ask you the same question." Amber pointed out,
"Are you and Redwood a thing yet?" She grinned, Leopard kept her head high,
"Well, I don't know Amber, will you tell me if you and Serpent are a thing?" She asked,
"No." Amber said,
"Well, there, you have your answer." Leopard said, she flew up, to Sparrow, and started to talk to him about how long it would take to get to the sky kingdom, Amber kept her ears pricked,
"Probably 4 days." He said, Amber sighed, 4 days, was like 4 years for her, she wanted nothing more but to collapse in her own hammock, in her own hut. By now, but noooooo, she just had to go on this adventure, of course, classic her!
"Stupid torch." She growled under her breath, Serpent was an animus right? He could just do a spell and bring it to her, right? No, Amber wanted nothing to do with magic, she wants nothing to do with her love going insane, she wouldn't ask him that, but how much had he used it, when he had told her, she let her wings carry her back towards him,
"Hey! Serpent." She said, he grinned as she talked,
"So, I know I've sort of put this question aside, but how many times have you used your magic." She asked,
"Oh, just that once to save us, and to see if I was an animus." He shrugged, Amber felt her muscles relaxe, he raised his eyebrows,
"Why?" He asked,
"Just checking to see, don't want you going insane." She laughed a nerve raking laugh.
"Don't worry, as long as I don't think any insane thoughts I think I'm fine, I don't have any plans to take over the world, but I'll let you know if I do." He smiled, Amber giggled, she flew to her previous spot, still thinking, about the four day trip, what was to come, where was Spark, Glory had said she was gone too, was she with the rainwings this very moment, she wondered this until they came to a cave, stopping for the night.
Amber sat down next to Serpent,
"What if the skywing's don't let us get the torch." She started,
"What if this whole trip was for nothing." Serpent twined his tail with hers,
"Your ranting, everything will be fine, Ruby's a great Queen, she'll let us get the torch." He reassured her,
