henley hall and welton academy are having a shared dance. —— has asked you to go with him, this is how it goes:

charlie:
-he asked you a week before
-when knox told him he should've asked you sooner he said he was playing hard to get
-that and he didn't want you knowing how bad he wanted to go with you
-he wanted you to have the impression he didn't give a crap about school dances and it was all no big deal to him
-so you tell him you two should just not go
-he says as much fun as not going would be you guys would never know what you're missing out on if you don't go
-and that he would feel bad ditching knoxious
-he was really looking forward to seeing you and going to a dance with you though
-almost definitely ~got red~ when getting ready
-maybe not a huge chest thing but at least a small red lightning bolt on his arm
-he is like so respectful all night
-to you at least
-a true gentleman
-he felt the need to be classy tonight because it's been awhile since he's seen you because of school and because he's still worried you'll dump him cause he has the reputation of a player
-the whole night he was never snarky to you
-but charlie is still charlie so he was making fun of people and stuff
-when he first saw you he was so awestruck he couldn't even come up with a stupid goofy pickup line
-even though you two were already going together
-he definitely tells you you're gorgeous like a hundred times every hour
-always has an arm around you or is making some kind of physical contact
-^its cause he's seeing guys looking at you and he's a jelly lil boy
-and he just loves being close to you
-he doesn't look at any girl who isn't you
-he didn't want to slow dance
-you still made him
-this boy is whipped so he let you drag him to the dance floor
-he acted like he didn't like it but he really loved it because he got to hold you close
-you two were making fun of people dancing and their outfits the whole time
-he had impressions of all the teachers which made you laugh hard enough to get the attention of couples dancing around you
-you also catch each other up on what's happened since you last saw each other or talked over the phone
-his hand is on your ass
-or at least inching down to your ass
-definitely takes you with him on a smoke break under the bleachers or outside
-you guys end up making out
-this happens many times
-goes like this:
-you two are dancing
-"listen, babe. i need a smoke break"
-you huff and say fine cause you were enjoying dancing with him
-he realizes he doesn't have any cigarettes with him
-"oops"
-you laugh at him
-he starts to tickle you playfully and mock hurt because you're laughing at him
-he kisses you
-you kiss him back
-you guys start making out
-you decide you guys should go back to the dance floor before you're caught by a teacher
-he sighs but says yes because he won't do anything without consent
-NO MEANS NO AND CHARLIE KNOWS IT
-after one song he says he needs a smoke break again
-you laugh at his ridiculousness but still say yes because there's no way you're turning down an opportunity to make out with him
-every other song you guys have a "smoke break"
-overall you two have an amazing time and you wouldn't change anything about it
