after liking duckie for years, you finally decided you would ask him to prom, despite his obvious infatuation with his friend andie.
well, you chickened out, and ended up going stag to the prom.
after dancing around with friends then taking time get a snack and a drink, a slow song came on.
your friends all left with whoever asked them to dance or their dates, leaving you alone.
you were standing on the dance floor, trying to walk through the couples snuggled up when you caught the gaze of duckie.
you had an impulsive moment, your hormones took over, and you smiled at duckie with a wave for him to come over to you.
"moi?" he mouthed.
getting nervous you made a wrong move, you nodded your head.
he made a face of disbelief, looked off to the side, he slightly was nodding his head, then he made his way over with a pleased look on his face.
