Chapter 7

The movie had ended at Michael clapped at the ending of it. We still were all cuddled into the blankets looking at each other.

"What ya wanna watch know?" Luke had asked me.

"I dunno, what do you have?" I asked actually not knowing what to watch.

Ashton had picked out his phone from his pocket clicking on an app and starting to film. I looked at him funny while he started to talk to his phone.

"We're watching movies, what do you think we should watch guys?" Ashton had said into his phone.

"Oh yeah guys, we have obviously forgot to introduce you to her. This is Valerie!" Ashton said giggling.

"Say hi, Val." Ashton had said to me with the front facing camera now on me. "Hi?" I asked questioning.

" She's not a random person by the way, she's our daughter." Calum had said on the end of the bed.

"Anyways, yeah guys. Bye Keek! Say bye, Val!" Ashton said smiling wide at me before I waved off to the phone.

Ashton clicked post and a bunch of views and comments trailed in. Extremely fast for not even a minute ago yet.

"What was that and why were you filming it?" I asked Ashton as he looked up at me.

"That was called a keek, I was just giving our fans an update."

'Fans? W-What do you guys do?" I asked wondering why they got that many views in 10 seconds.

"We haven't told you yet?" Luke asked picking up a movie and putting it in. I shook my head no.

'We are in a band." Michael said smiling at me.

"You are? What is it called?" I asked surprised knowing they are in a band.

"5 Seconds of Summer, I play the drums, Luke plays guitar and sings, Michael is the guitarist, and Calum is the bassist." Ashton has said to me.

I nodded pulling down my sleeve to itch my arm. Ashton gasped at the sight of what was on my arm. He grabbed it and stared at it. I frowned once all of the boys had turned their focus towards my arm. Tears started to form in the rim of my eyes as Calum gently rubbed his finger across the scars covering it. "But...I-I..." Luke let out as I saw him stare directly at my arm. "V-Val...why?" Michael had spoke softy while Ashton stayed quiet still having a grip on my arm not lettng me pull it away. "I-I...I don't want to explain." I said pulling my arm close to my chest seeing Ashton had let go putting all of his focus straight into my eyes. "We want to help you, Valerie." Calum had spoke.

"Nothing will help me from my past, Calum, nothing." I said as tears brimmed in my eyes as I saw Ashton still looking at me. A tear had rolled down his cheek.

"We will help you forget about it if you just let it out to us." Luke said holding my hand.

"I-I..." I said before staring into Ashton's eyes seeing he was about to cry even more.

"My mother..." I said gulping, "She was an alcoholic. As for my father, he was a drug addict. They come home every night drunk or high ready to beat me until I was unconcious. I used to have a baby sister, Allison. She died after my parents had started their problems. My parents had sent me to a crappy school. Shitty eduacation, teachers, and kids. They had found the cheapest school they could find. I was 5 when they started to kick me in the head or break my ribs. My mother would drag me down the stairs while my father would beat me with a damn baseball bat if I did not obey them. They tried everything to make my life a fucking hell. Sometimes I am happy that my parents had died in that car crash experincing less pain they put me through each day. I was bullied and that's what had me at about it. I started to cut at 11. I recently had stopped 3 months ago." I said seeing that tears were rolling down my face.

"I am so sorry..." Caum said as I looked up seeing him wipiing away his tears.

"We are going to try and help you each day. We p-promise." Ashton had finally spoke. I flew my arms into his and let out tears.

He held onto me. He rubbed my back as he hugged me back tightly. I can trust them. I can do it. I don't have to worry about them treating me like my parenst did. They are all here to help me. 4 boys are here to help me.
