Chapter 37

The boys had been in and out of the recording studio so I got to spend a lot of time with my other family while they were still here. We would usually call a Lyft to go somewhere like the store or a restaurant. All four families almost always hung out together so I never felt like I was making someone feel left out.

One night the boys got home early from the studio so we had a huge dinner and movie night. It was really nice because we all sat together super close and laughed and enjoyed everyone's company.

Sadly, everyone had to go home after being here for two and a half weeks. There was only a little bit of recording left to do so I just went to the studio with them for that.

Going to the studio meant waking up at around 7 a.m. with only a few breaks in between. They had a heavy deadline for this record and we working really hard to make it amazing. I got to hear a few of the songs they had made because the other ones they wanted me to be surprised about.

They released some songs off the album and they got a pretty good reaction from fans. One day we were sitting in the car on our way to grab some lunch and one of the songs began to play on the radio and everyone in the car went crazy.

Because I was on summer that meant me having to choose whether or not I wanted to go back to school or be home schooled. I had only gone to school for about four months before everything started going weird. I was taking online classes after I got out of the hospital just because it would have been hard to jump right back in.

Ashton really wanted me to do schooling from home and was the one who set up my online classes after I got out of the hospital. He wanted me to stay at home because he worried that kids would ask too many questions there and also the boys were able to keep an eye on me.

Calum and Michael agreed with Ash, but Luke thought maybe if I was with other people I wouldn't feel so trapped but he also understood why home schooling was a good idea. I decided to do home schooling only because I was more comfortable with it.

Ash set me up for another two semesters of online schooling which starts in about two months. Now the only thing for us to worry about is the album release which was both exciting and nerve wracking.
