34 - "Bakit ka ba nagseselos?"

Bumaba si Diane mula sa hagdan na naka-make-over na. She wears a knee-level royal blue tube dress, and a pair of 5-inch white pumps. She brings a white purse to complement her attire. Her medium-length hair is slightly curled on the tips, resting on her collarbone. Syempre may jewelry rin, kwintas with matching earrings. Simple lang ito sa kanya pero elegant na siyang tingnan. After all she is Diane Martinez. She's elegant all the time.

"Done checking me out?" Diane asks when she reached the last step down the stairs.

"Wow Diane.." Regina mumbles. "Grabe parang nag-slomo bigla ang paligid nang bumaba ka. Alam mo kung hindi lang kita pinsan, papatulan talaga kita!"

"Regina." Diane frowns at her. "You're creeping me out! Tigilan mo nga yan. Exagg ka talaga palagi."

"Maganda ka naman talaga palagi eh! May masasabi pa ba ako? At tsaka ba't ka hindi naka-signature color mo?"

"Paano ako makapag-red eh red nga ang suot mo?"

"Ah hehe.. Para complementary sa red Hermes bag ko." Sabi ni Regina sabay pakita ng kanyang pulang slingbag. "So how do I look?" Regina struts to her cousin.

She is wearing a red halter flowing knee-level dress with matching red wedge heels.

"Hmm, not so slutty." Diane says confusing her cousin if it was a compliment or insult.

"Mali pala ako." Sabi ni Diane nang nag-pose patalikod si Regina at nakita niyang halos backless pala ang dress. "At least now I feel more conservative myself."

"Eh kahit ano pa ang suotin mo talagang mas sexy ka naman talaga. Cleavage mo pa lang, talbog mo na kahit mag-bikini nalang ako."

Laughing and rolling her eyes Diane replies, "Hayy nako. Let's go."

"So, this is my cousin I've been telling you about." Pagpapakilala ni Regina sa kanyang pinsan doon sa foreigner na date niya na nasa opposite side ng table. Nasa isang fancy restaurant na silang apat kagaya ng napag-usapan.

"Hi, I'm Claude Toulousse!" French Guy 1 says with an obvious amount of french accent, he speaks nasally. He reaches out his hand for a handshake.

"Diane Cruise." She shakes Claude's hand.

"As in Penelope Cruz?"

"No. Like, Tom Cruise." Diane adds.

"Oh.. Pleasure to meet you, Diane. I didn't know you are this gorgeous."

"Thank you, you look dashing as well." She smiles. "Can I get my hand now, Claude?"

"Ohh.. Sorry sorry.."

French Guy 2 clears his throat, reminding everyone that he is there. He stands across Diane.

"This is my friend." Claude taps the other guy's shoulder. "Regina, Diane." He gestures to the two women to Rene.

"Salut! Je suis René Phalange! " Rene shook hands with Regina and Diane. "Oui, oui. Je ne parler anglais.. but moi will try my best."

"He speaks only very little in English." Claude explains.

"Do you know Regina Phalange??" Tanong ni Regina kay Rene.
