Rex smiled as he came back to the clearing.

„How was your hunting?" he asked, looking at the exhausted Togruta.

She nodded. Her Arm hurt a lot. It had healed a bit during the past days and thanks to the force she were able to use it to shoot an arrow.

„The animals lay a few meters north from here."

„I'll go get them" he told her and left again.

She looked after him.

He may have found out about her infected leg, but he promised to not tell anyone.

And Anakin and Obi-Wan didn't have a helmet with a HUV to scan her vitals.

So they wouldn't find out.

At least she hoped so.

Rex came back with one of the animals soon.

„Three!" he spat out. „You shot three animals with one arrow and a broken arm?!"

She nodded.

„Sometimes I start to worry..." he mumbled, before leaving again, to get the other animals.

„I'm a predator" Ahsoka answered, still carving the point of an arrow.

She enjoyed hunting. Even though it hurt her.

She didn't enjoy killing though. Just the Adrenaline.

That's probably why catching games existed.

Rex came back with the second animal.

„This thing is huge!" he managed to say, while catching his breath.

„How did you manage to not get run over by it?!"

„I shot faster, than it could run" Ahsoka gave back.

She had left the arrows at the branch bench, she had decided to call it a brench, and was working on the animal.

Rex didn't quite saw what she was doing, but he guessed she made it ready to smoke it.

„Hey" Obi-Wan greeted when he came to the clearing, then dropped his wood when he saw the two animals.

„What did happen here?!" he panted.

„Rex was hunting" Ahsoka answered, without looking up. Still cutting through the skin of the animal.

Obi-Wan looked up to Rex. „You managed to hit those things. With Bows?!" he asked. Hardly believing that the soldier hat learned to use a completely different kind of weapon in such a short time so well.

„Luck of a beginner" Rex said, rubbing his neck. „I'll go get the last one here."

„There is another?"

Obi-Wan was startled. He definitely didn't expected this.

Ahsoka smiled. „Rex is a fast learner" she added.

„At least you didn't stand up" Obi-Wan mentioned.

„Anakin would freak out if you would have."

She looked at him with a slight smile. „I know how to behave" she said. And silently added in her head ‚which doesn't mean that I'm doing it.'

Anakin had taught her well how to lie without lying.

Besides. She was okay. Her leg felt like it would be on fire, her Arm hurt a lot, but the others hay better chances now.

So she was okay.
