So Anakin headed of for med supplies.

He hated leaving the others, yet Ahsoka needed those med supplies.

So he headed off in the direction the cliff was.

Rex on the other hand was searching for plants.

They had already rationed the food, so that it would last over the winter, therefore now his stomach growled.

He picked a few plants up, storing them in the basket.

He felt... terribly alone.

He wasn't used to be away from his brothers for so long.

He really needed someone to talk to.

Of course, he had the Generals. Bit that wasn't the same.

He still felt awkward calling them by their first names.

How was he supposed to tell them how he was feeling?

Sure, he was close with his General. Closer than the most Clones were with they're Jedi.

But it still wasn't the same. Skywalker was still his superior.

He had been able to talk with Ahsoka, but that had different reasons.

Ahsoka had been, still was, on the verge of death.

It somewhat... he couldn't tell. It somewhat seemed to erase every thought about ranks.

Because he always had the knowledge poking at his back, that it might be the last time he would be talking to her.

And now... now she was unconscious. And most likely the last time he had talked to her was over.

It hurt him so much.

He wished he could talk with someone about it. But no brother of his was here. And his only sister wasn't able to  hear him.

Again the thought seemed to make his heart shatter.

If he just would have remembered the med supplies earlier.

Or... directly?

Why had he been so stupid?

He rubbed his eyes.

It was not like there were tears, but it felt like.

And currently he had no helmet to hide his emotions behind.

He sat down on the moss covered stone, he already sat on day before.

This area was full of eatable plants, but at the moment he couldn't concentrate enough on that.

His heart hurt like hell, and he clutched his head, trying to stop himself from crying.

He was a soldier for Mandalores sake. He was supposed to be strong.

Then again. Here it was different. Being down of this planet seemed to change something. It seemed to... give him the place to be.

Yet, that couldn't fill the whole Ahsoka left.

It only made it bigger.

He felt something on his hand and looked up.

It was the little animal from before.

It looked at him curiously.

Rex carefully patted the animals head.

It licked at his hand again.

It warmed Rex heart a bit to see it.

"So you're still alive huh?"

Again it licked at his hand, than pressed his head against it.

"Alone as well?" he kept petting it.

That made the animal confident enough, to come closer and it cuddled itself against Rex a bit.

Rex went to stroke it side now, since to keep petting it's head, he would have to hold his hand at a weird angle.

The little animal flinched back though.

Rex had accidentally touched the injury.

"Sorry" he mumbled, but the animal already pulled away.

It sat down a bit away from him, between high grass, and some other plants, so that it was barely to be seen anymore.

Rex sighed.

He really needed one of his brothers.
